Property Ratings at Magnolia
I recently had the pleasure of living at Magnolia Apartments and I cannot say enough positive things about both the apartments themselves and the management. From the moment I moved in, I felt welcomed and valued as a resident. The apartments are absolutely stunning. The layout is spacious and well-designed, with modern finishes and high-quality appliances. The attention to detail in the construction and maintenance of the apartments is evident, as everything was in pristine condition when I moved in. The complex is also beautifully landscaped, creating a serene and peaceful environment. Management at Magnolia Apartments truly goes above and beyond to ensure resident satisfaction. They are always available and responsive to any questions or concerns that arise. Maintenance requests are handled promptly and efficiently, with the utmost professionalism. It is clear that the management team takes pride in their work and genuinely cares about the well-being of their residents. Additionally, the amenities at Magnolia Apartments are top-notch. The fitness center is well-equipped and always clean, making it easy to maintain an active lifestyle. The pool area is a perfect oasis for relaxation, with comfortable lounge chairs and a beautiful view. Overall, my experience at Magnolia Apartments has been nothing short of exceptional. The combination of luxurious apartments, attentive management, and fantastic amenities make it a truly wonderful place to call home. I highly recommend Magnolia Apartments to anyone in search of a positive and enjoyable living experience.
I’m a new resident and this place has been phenomenal, I for one have never experienced any of the issues mentioned above. This entire unit is clean and well kept. I have never seen a trace of mold in my unit and neither have any of my fellow neighbors. There has been a recent installment of camera and audio equipment which has brought me so much clarity on the safety of the building. The property manager is wonderful and I would highly recommend this building to anyone in the area. This entire complex has had a total makeover and is absolutely stunning!!!
Property Manager at Magnolia, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your feedback Sarah! Enjoy!
I’ve lived in this building for almost 3 years now and it has been nothing short of amazing! Within the last year they have done renovations and are continuing so, and all I can say is they have really been making this such a beautiful space to live in. Management is on top of all needs! The only difficult part of living here is there are some very young adults in the community that tend to cause excessive noise after hours, along with leaving glass bottles around the pool. But thankfully management is on top of it! I have children and thankfully to have management who cares about over-all wellbeing of her tenants VS. someone who lets everything run amuck. I have no intentions of moving out anytime soon, in fact we have moved several friends into the complex whenever units become available. And each one of them absolutely love it! All I can say is if you get a chance to live here, take it! If you don’t love it, there’s something out there that may be better suited for you. But this building gets a 5 out of 5 stars from me!
The old management kept this complex clean and accessible, with access to the pool restrooms, saunas and club room. The new management does not. -Black mold in several units, still unresolved. -She constantly leaves the front and back doors wide open or the lock is broken so any outsider can just walk through. These issues take months to be resolved. -Manager uses Instagram and other social media to spy on her tenants (several people experienced this). Cameras with Audio have been installed everywhere. -The trash room is disgusting most of the time and the smell is unbearable, with the gate being unlocked half the time, so anyone can walk in from the outside. -Falsely accuses tenants of smoking, graffiti, shouting, etc. -Ignores complaints about gas leaks, said 'not my problem'. -Sends out angry emails to the entire complex, stating: "3 days to quit", if you are in the pool after 10pm/drink alcohol by the pool/use floaties/etc. You have 3 days to quit or face eviction. -If you are on her wrong side she will take any suggestion you come with (example noise levels, or the uncomfortable outdoor furniture) and she will tell you to move. -Finally, the renovations that were supposed to be finished a year ago are still not finished and we have no access to the club house anymore, so why the rent increase? It should be reduced if anything. All of this can be proven with photographic evidence and backed up by several different units.
I just moved out after living here for just shy of 8 1/2 years. Had I not moved in with my boyfriend, I'd still be living herw - I LOVED my apartment and living here! I moved in at a crossroad in my life, after a divorce, finishing school and a job change. Living here provided me with ample space to grow and evolve into the next chapter. I lived on the ground floor in one of the apartments facing the street and though sometimes there is a noise, life in general is not a quiet thing. There was a great flow to my apartment and the rooms were a good size. There is a HUGE park across the street in the back and a Trader Joe's, Ralphs and mall withing walking distance. The neighborhood is very nice and I enjoyed walking in it day or night and always felt very safe. The pool is clean and taken care of and the courtyard is very pretty and inviting - i had many a poolside gathering with girlfriends in the summer and it was a great place to relax and unwind. I also took advantage of the rec room and had a few brunches and parties there too. My apartment was spacious and the rent was very affordable. The building is VERY WELL maintained in my opinion - it's not new but they'd done renovations during my time there and both general and personal maintenance is done in a timely manner - they check your smoke alarms and other things regularly. The building manager, Ellen, is wonderful and one of the main reasons I chose Magnolia to move into in the first place. She does a very good job in handling the property and requests and is both a great blend of personal and professional. She is just awesome! There is a little gym and decent laundry facilities. This is not the swankiest of places but it was one of my favorite places to call home and again... I just loved, loved, loved living here!
We moved here when I was super pregnant and I was immediately comfortable in our space. It's a quiet building, tenants are respectful of each other and are respectful of the property. The building is kept clean, and so is the pool area and all the common areas. The Building Manager rocks. I have never lived in a building that actually sees to my maintenance needs in a timely manner. I couldn't be more appreciative! There is a ginormous park across the street that is AWESOME. On the weekends, there is tons of cheering from all the soccer fields. And by that, I mean TONS of cheering. And I love it! It's really cool to hear people being HAPPY and having joy. I'm really grateful to be in this building, it feels like a secure space in which to raise my daughter.
Though it's next to a busy soccer field and a bit of an older building, it's cozy and cute. I feel comfortable here and enjoy the big laundry facility, pool, and saunas!
We moved to Magnolia Apartments mostly because the location is convenient (close to freeways, grocery stores, malls, etc.) and the rent is cheap. Our 2-bed/2-bath is the perfect size for us, and it has new appliances and a great layout. It's also much more affordable than other similarly-sized apartments. The biggest downside is our location in the complex: we're on the backside of the building facing the park and we hear people playing soccer on the weekends all day, starting before 7am and often going until 9pm. Your best location is probably facing the courtyard, if you can get it, since the neighbors are respectful and never make much noise out there. Overall, I'd say it's pretty average. You can go somewhere not-so-great and pay less, or go somewhere and bit more upscale and pay more. This is a good in-between solution if you're looking to save on rent and still live somewhere safe, convenient, and comfortable.
