Property Ratings at Magnolia Square Apartments
I lived at Magnolia Square Apartments for nine years in a one-bedroom apartment, and I always felt very fortunate to have secured an apartment there. The location is great: less than five minutes away from Kroger and other Fountain City businesses or less than five minutes away from Merchant Drive. My apartment's deck and windows offered a beautiful view of a forested patch of land with a creek-great for watching birds. The property manager and the maintenance crew are incredibly kind, responsive, and caring, the pool is nice and well-managed, and I always felt safe and peaceful.
I have lived in small and large complexes. This is by far above the rest as far as being balanced with retired people, professionals, and younger renters. There is an expectation that all renters will try to be quiet from 10 pm to 7am due to many folks working shifts at the nearby hospitals. Residents are asked to turn down stereo equipment when coming into the complex. Apartments have lots of storage, central A/C, washer/dryer hookup, balcony, a nice pool, exercise room, and nice landscaping. With over 100 units, there is some noise, but it is not as bad as most complexes. The area has lots of restaurants and shopping nearby and is just a mile from major interstates. The downside is the traffic is heavy most times of day. I wish the fixtures were kept more up-to-date and that the A/C units were regularly maintained. The 2 bedrooms are definitely nicer than the 1 bedrooms and twice the size. Very nice apartment manager.
