Yes the rent is cheap but it is not worth it!! They have gone through a ridiculous amount of management in the year my family and I have lived here. We also had a man harass us, come into our apartment on two occasions. There are gunshots basically every day. This is not a safe area for a family. Maintenance do not know what they are doing. Have been dealing with electrical/plumbing issues since we moved in and we cant get them to come fix anything!!! Washer and dryers they provide suck and often take our money. We have given management spare keys 3 times and they keep losing them and said we changed our locks when we didn’t. Also it is infested with roaches!!! I’m beyond furious with these apartments and cannot WAIT to move!!!! Doesn’t even deserve one star!
I've been a tenant here for a one year lease and I'm here to tell anyone who is considering magnolia states to stay away unless you don't mind hearing frequent shootings during the night. Almost every night for the past 3 months there have been people outside shooting at other people and also shooting guns for fun ... a week ago someone fired a whole clip from behind my window... like who does that ??? Residents tend to loiter all the time while the landlords are almost never at the office building.. Oh and by the way a landlord was fired for stealing tenants money while tellings tenants that they never paid there rent , and on top of that the washing units on site that they advertise are in a horrible condition.. I walked in yesterday to wash some clothes and one of the washer machines was full of dirty water ... Also the maintenance men on site are unreliable when you have a problem... basically , the maintenance men are non-existent when I comes to tenant issues.. This year lease has truly been a troublesome experience and I urge anyone who is not used to living around criminal activity from residents and staff to stay away.. or get a pistol lol
This apartment complex and its management (Sunbelt Management Company) are beyond unprofessional. They can't seem to keep a full staff. They are unreliable when it comes to handling issues with your unit. If you have any other options for living arrangements, take 1 of those. Moving here should be a last resort.
