The management team Sally and Mike are wonderful. They are very accommodating and respond to my requests and questions in a timely manner. The other staff members like Edward, Venko, and Gladys at 855 are great too. Together, they make 855 Hinman Ave an excellent place to live.

I'm already a tenant and willing to extend for one more year. It is impossible to reach to TLC management to discuss an issue in the leasing. I sent them messages, e-mails, voice records but did get any reply. They want tenants to pay a fee about the internet even if they have already a contract from internet provider. Tenants should be free to use internet from TLC management. If they do not want internet, this extra fee for the internet should be removed from the lease. ( What Metropolitan Tenants Organization's lawyer said) I hope this message finds you (TLC management) well. Thanks

I have lived in the same building for 11 years, and recently had to switch units. The staff were very flexible, and I was able to move two units down! I had three days to move in but a nice neighbor at the time helped me move the heavy stuff in. I couldn't picture anything else more fitting for me. I can't afford a mansion!
Main Station is a great place to live. Sally is wonderful as the building manager and the maintenance staff are very professional and friendly. I love living here!
good location, fair price. it is just the public area is out of maintenance for too long. scratched doors, dirty carpet, broken elevator, if these could be fixed i'd be happy to renew.

At TLC Management Co. we take our resident's concerns very seriously as our goal is to provide a comfortable living experience for all. We have our semi-annual carpet cleaning scheduled for within 2 weeks (around 10/17). We keep up with regular maintenance of the elevators and respond to any situations quickly if any become inoperable. Damage to walls and doors can be touched up and addressed through service requests. We will tend to all work request as quickly as possible. Main Station has a great staff that starts with the office. Sally is a joy to work with and Venko as well along with the maintenance team. They are courteous and professional. The building is well kept. Sally is quick to respond to any concerns we might have as residents.

The location is very convenient since it is closed to supermarket and stores. The bad thing is the exhaust system. When someone is smoking, the smell spread out in the apartment. It should encourage all smokers outside the apartment. I think it makes the apartment more valuable to live.
Most people who live here like it here. Some people have stayed a long time, unless they have to move for various reasons

I would recommend this building to my best friends, since it super worth its value. They have very fast maintainence, friendly sevice, nice managment and all facilities you need for you daily life. The location is very nice, quick walk to lakeside, some walk to jewel and trader joes, and bus/subway stations. For any student seeking for rental near university, this is a great place for 1b1b of any size.

We are tenants who live in 855 Hinman AVE. This is our first time in the United States. We are still a process of adaptation in our lives. Many of them are different from the domestic ones. But our administrator, Fredys, is very responsible and patient, and has given us a lot of help. Thank you very much for his help.
The building is quiet but near many cafes and awesome restaurants. It's within a 30-second walk of public transportation including buses, elevated trains and Metra. The grounds are well maintained and management is quick to address any issue. My unit also has a great view of the lake and Chicago skyline!
