Property Ratings at Majestic Stove Lofts
The things to be aware of before moving in; the staff is not very helpful, maintenance takes a very long time to fix things and on most occasions does not fix the issue, you can hear every noise from your neighbors from a laugh to their tv playing, unknown smells in the building constantly from not being cleaned routinely, constant break ins within the paid parking lot and parking on the street in front of the building on both entrances. Take all of this into account before moving in.
If you’re a history buff like me you’ll really appreciate this property! Breathtaking Lofts and exemplary staff members! Lyn in the office is always happy to help in any way she can! Clay, one of the maintenance members, is super quick to fix anything! Come live your best life at Majestic!
I have enjoyed my time at Majestic Stove so far. The lofts are minimal so you get a really good price compared to others downtown. Personally, I would rather spend less on rent and and do without "extras" such as the marble lobbies and 24 hour door staff that other lofts offer. The staff at Majestic Stove Lofts acts quickly to take care of maintenance requests. I like enjoying my coffee in the court yard. I have been here since March and will definitely be renewing my lease.
I have lived in this community for almost 6 years. The guys who do the maintenance are nice and accommodating. It seems like they have a high turnover in the office staff but the 2 ladies that work in there now are very nice so I hope they keep them on. I would definitely recommend others to live here.
I just moved to the St. Louis area but the staff has been very accommodating since before I even got here. Melanie set up a Zoom virtual tour of the available apartments and helped me choose which one was right for me. Everything was perfect and ready to go when I came to get my keys and it has been super smooth sailing ever since. I am very happy with my choice!
The good thing about Majestic Stove Lofts is the staff. Everyone from those in the office to the maintenance people have been wonderful and extremely friendly. I understand this is a 1 start review, however they have been a shining light throughout this. The bad: - We've had leaks for over a year now and have had 6+ (lost count at this point) reports of serious leaking from the ceiling during rain. It gets reported then leaks again. - Our AC/Heat either doesn't work at all or is just extremely unreliable. 7+ maintenance visits (again lost count) and 3 different inspectors and the issue continues. Sometimes it works for a bit (weeks at most) but then is no longer working. One inspector said it needs to be replaced, however this hasn't happened. Other residents have complained as well and the units are almost 20 years old. Currently the AC doesn't work and we are awaiting a response from staff. I honestly don't know where the disconnect is. The staff is wonderful and tries they're best, however these issues remain. I have to assume upper management or owners (who haven't reached out after 20+ maintenance requests in a year) are just not approving the necessary costs to actually fix this stuff. I would love to be able to update this review if our issues could be resolved.
