Steeped in history and unique culture, Baltimore is among America’s most culturally-rich cities. Centuries spent as a major port city have contributed to a diverse mix of influences, resulting in the eclectic range of food and art found in Baltimore today. The relatively compact layout of the city makes life a bit easier for pedestrians and cyclists — it also means that, even though the city is home to over 600,000 people, it retains the feel of a much smaller community. The city’s neighborhoods display a huge degree of variety, ranging from rowhouses to high-rise apartments to charming suburban subdivisions.
It’s an excellent city for sports fans, with the Orioles and the Ravens representing Baltimore in the big leagues. The arts community is quite active in Baltimore as well, largely thanks to the Maryland Institute College of Art and the huge Artscape festival that draws thousands every May.

Property Ratings at Mallow Hills
Friendly and accommodating staff and maintenance, the company also keeps the outside area very clean. Apartments rooms are large and every apartment has a porch or balcony. There are laundry facilities on site in the buildings with a convient card to load laundry money. Area is nice suburban feel and close to the beltway and downtown baltimore. Would recomend for anyone looking for a place to call home.
I have been living at mallow hills for around 6 years now. The rent is affordable and the rooms are large, my favorite part about the apartment is the balcony which have a nice view of trees, which is great to be able to have that in baltimore city. Maintenance is friendly and quick to respond, and follows up to make sure everything is fixed. The leasing staff is friendly for the most part and the managers (Sean and Crystel) have always been professional, friendly and helpful. I would recommend for anyone who would like feel of living in the county without breaking the bank.
I'm dealing with a mold problem and can't get no one to come and fix it. It also states that utilities are included. NO THEY ARE NOT. PLUS YOU HAVE A VERY HIGH WATER BILL. I REGRET MOVING HERE. NOT WORTH IT
I like it here so far at Mallow Hill apartments. There is a reason for it's over 85 percent approval rating. I came from a place right next door with no air conditioning, mice on my floors, birds in my ceiling, bad carpet, half @$$ maintenance, and a laundry room in a shack. This place Mallow Hill is the total opposite of that; I have a fully air conditioned, freshly painted, wall to wall carpeted, one bedroom apartment with no pest...or birds, and a nice indoor laundry room. It's close to the expressway and literally 15 minutes down the street from the harbor by car because Stonecroft road is right off of Frederick road. The only draw back is that I can hear my upstairs neighbor's foot steps as if they are walking on my floor so when they walk into their room it feels like I'm being walked in on interrupting me beating my ...video games, even though I know I live alone. Right now I can hear them snoring and they have a toddler that runs but I don't mind. The side walls are thick enough for me not to hear my surrounding neighbors or them me so I can still play my music to tune that out. They even had ice trays in the freezer and toilet paper on the roll when I moved in! That may not seem like much to some, but I appreciate little details and they do pay attention to them here. Also maintenance is on point and the office workers are so professional! The neighborhood is quiet other than that one dog that lives right outside our area who doesn't bark but screams like a human. I don't know if it's sound proof glass or not but I hear nothing when I shut my windows though. Hope yall enjoyed reading this!
