Located roughly 20 miles northwest of Milwaukee, Sussex is a suburban city that takes up less than 10 square miles. Its small size creates a pleasant, small-town atmosphere and tight-knit community. Although small, Sussex offers its residents plenty of community amenities to enjoy. Parks, nature trails, conservancy areas, and the Civic Center provide residents of all ages with recreation activities and programs. The other parts of Sussex are made up of peaceful residential neighborhoods holding a variety of rental choices.

Property Ratings at Mammoth Springs Apartments
The new property manager, Lynn, has been wonderful to work with and very accommodating. This one of the better apartments in the area.
We lived at Mammoth Springs Apartments for 4 years. We loved the quick to respond maintenance team. Any time I needed something fixed or looked at, they came within 24 hours! They helped with our bee problem on the deck, checking the dryer filter, fixed a leak on our sink, or even to just change a lightbulb! It is a quiet place to live with no problems from neighbors. Everybody is friendly and you are located with many amenities nearby. Being right on the Bugline Bike Trail is convenient and unique. Just a 5 minute walk from the nearest grocery store. The pool was something we enjoyed every summer. We also loved the grills on site, picnic tables, and a close workout room! There is spacious bathroom storage, high ceilings, and an elevator with a parking garage. There are a variety of local restaurants nearby, not to mention the new Mexican Cantina down the road! We loved living here and you will too.
Moved in a 5 days ago and the management team was vert helpful and responsive to any concerns we had. Very clean and close to everything. Tenants are friendly and its very safe and secure.
Clean, safe, modern apartments. Staff is friendly and flexible. Very happy so far with my decision to move here.
We have been living in the townhomes for roughly a year and we have been very happy. We especially love the quiet area surrounding the neighborhood and all the great green space to take in. Amenities such as the community grills and gym have served us well. And our dog is especially happy that he now has a small private park to run around in daily.
I recently moved back to WI from TX. I moved into Mammoth Springs and I couldn't be happier! LOVE the amenities and the on-site property staff is AMAZING! I would highly recommend Mammoth Springs.
If you're looking for the most bang for your buck, look no further than Mammoth Springs. From the spacious open-concept floor plans, modern appliances, amenities offered, community events and caring staff, you can truly call this home. Living in Sussex may not seem like the most desirable place but residents get the best of both worlds; living in a small town and access to I-94 is only minutes away if you're the outgoing type. Let's not forget about the on-site retailers where you can grab lunch, get your hair cut and go to the dentist all within a few hundred feet!
I live in a 1 bedroom apartment at Mammoth and couldn't be happier with it. Tons of space, active staff, beautiful views of the fountain, clean pool and very dog friendly. Great for people of all ages. Would recommend.
Mammoth Springs is a great place to live with nice amenities. Between the dog grooming station, dog park, bug line, fitness center, and pool, it feels like a small community that is a nice place to live. I highly recommend this complex to anyone looking for a nice apartment/ condo that is in close proximity to lake country and Menominee Falls.
I am on a work visa. When I came to work in Milwaukee I need a nice place to stay. I chose Mammoth Spring Apartments and I am loving it! The apartment homes are welcoming , spacious with beautiful Marble top Kitchens. They have great storage spaces, walk-in closets and garage parking spaces that keep you away from all the painful snow scrapping on the car during the winters. The lovely Quarry just next to the apartments provides a lovely place for evening strolls for the family. The best part is the leasing office staff. They are so cordial, friendly and welcome you always with a lovely infectious smile. Not one day when i returned from the leasing office without a smile on my face. That's why this place feels like Home away from Home. Five stars!!
We moved in to our apartment in November of 2017. We have been pleased thus far with our apartment and the amenities provided. With us having a dog, it is nice to have the dog park and other walking trails to get exercise in. The staff is responsive and accommodating. We have had some minor maintenance issues but they are handled promptly. Having the pool, workout center, golf simulator and other amenities on site is a nice touch, even though we don't use them as much as we would like. The surrounding area is great with bars, restaurants, parks, grocery stores and other key places close by. As a new complex, there are some issues, which take some time to work through, and it seems they are headed in the right direction. I would love to see some tenants fill in the lower levels of the commercial space to offer even more to the residents. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an apartment that is on the higher end.
We just moved into our 3 bedroom townhome and it’s starting to feel like home. The leasing staff were helpful and eady to work with. The unit is spacious with nice sized bedrooms and ample closet space. Any concerns we had at move-in were handled quickly by the maintenance staff. The complex itself is picturesque and we enjoy hearing the fountain in the pond. Being right on the Bugline Trail provides lots of outdoor activity with biking and taking walks. The pool will certainly be enjoyed as well this summer. The location is ideal for walking to restaurants, Civic Center, library, farmers market, etc. Overall a good experience and the staff and neighbors have been very welcoming!
My wife and I recently moved in to a townhome, and it is beautiful and big. Everything is in great shape, and the rooms and closets are quite spacious (a nice change from a tiny Boston apartment). The complex has some nice amenities, too, like a coffee shop, fitness center, and quarry, and is nice and peaceful. It's also a very convenient location to get to downtown Sussex, Pewaukee, or Menomonee Falls. Great spot!
Everyone from the leasing office is so friendly. We’ve had such a good experience so far and the townhome is exactly what we wanted. We moved from California and saw the townhome via FaceTime and there were no surprises. The ladies in the office were there for us each step of the way, and made sure we were comfortable with the process. They answered all my emails in a timely manner, which was much appreciate being so far away. I’d highly recommend Mammoth Springs.
My family just moved to Wisconsin, from California, and we rented a townhome at Mammoth Springs -sight unseen. We are so glad we did! While the townhome is a bit small for our growing family, it really has everything you could want or need, so we're happy to adjust. The bedrooms and bathrooms are fairly spacious, the closets are a decent size, the garage has excellent space, the kitchen is beautiful and functional, the home has great lighting throughout, and it also has lovely design aesthetic overall. If I had to knock the property for one minor thing, it's the lack of cabinet space in the kitchen, but we have found workarounds. Aside from that, some other great things include: easy package delivery to your front door; incredibly kind and helpful staff; really nice and welcoming neighbors; a clean, well-equipped gym; a dog park and new doggie pet spa; snow removal; and a beautiful quarry to enjoy. Since we moved in the winter, we haven't had the opportunity to check out the pool, grills, or any other "summer" amenities, however, we've heard good things about these items from other tenants. We're looking forward to enjoying the community even more once the weather warms up.
The townhomes are nice inside, the garages are big. Nice location. I really like the pool and the gas grills.
Over priced!! Complete eye soar to the communtiy!! Disrespectful workers during the build. Ruining our nice small quite town. Trying to buy out innoceint peoples homes and getting away with it. Very small for what the price is. Over all just awful!! Please dont support this place as they are ruining other peoples lives who have been in sussexs for over 10 years.
The apartments are very beautiful and well maintained. The staff is great and the premises are coming along just beautiful. I feel so comfortable and safe.
