No matter where you move it’s gonna always be an issue. I will say this management has been awesome. They have been listening to cares and concerns fixing the things that need to be fixed. I can’t blame them for what happened before they got here what I will say they have been doing an awesome job and on that note try Manchester for yourself move here you’ll love it
If I could give it a 0 i would. I was living in mold with out hot water in my kitchen a caved in sink no air or heat. On top of all these things they steal out the apartments of tenants have several brake in & don’t want to give video footage to the tenant or the police when they ask. These guys have to be the most horrible management I have ever had dealings with. So save your money an move elsewhere it’s not worth it.

These apartments are the worst. Management changes every two months. The problems here are countless. Roaches, mildew, mold, drain flies, leaking roofs, out dated appliances, break ins. I've been here a year still haven't gotten a dishwasher or ice maker. maintenance also changes every two months. Don't trust the new bikes they have out front of the rent office its complete trash here. Management clearly think renting out bikes to tenants is more important than renovation which are desperately needed.

I've been here a month. Asked maintenance to do some minor repairs. I told them up front to not enter my apartment without my permission. Twice now they have come in to "repair" but nothing is ever actually fixed. None of the outside lights on my floor work and nobody is working too hard to fix them. The office staff NEVER answer the phone. If I hadn't needed a place fast for my new job, I would have kept looking.

Staff took a process of two months to fix the air conditioner in my apartment. I had a newborn and had to call the city to get a timely response. Staff also lost my lease and could not provide me with a copy. Staff does not pick up the office phone and when you walk in to speak with them, they don’t answer the door or have their headphones in. Very unprofessional.
Please trust me the management will not address any apartment issues. The complex is well manicured on the outside but DO NOT be fooled. Management will treat you as if you’re a bother, repairs will not be addressed. Save your money look into other areas PLEASE!!!!!
The management is horrible! Has changed mangers 4 times in last 2 years. They do not follow through on work orders. It takes more than 2 weeks to have simple issues repairs completed. The office always says they have emergencies like hot water heaters and air conditioners to fix. The appliances are well over 20 years old and always breaking down! I have gone the whole weekend with out heat before because the office said they didn’t hear my message on the emergency repair line!! They should have called me to verify my family was ok. We pay TOO MUCH MONEY and I am NOT renewing my lease!! What a waste of money and what disrespect for tenants who spend hard earned money for comfort and peace of mind in this area!! You have been warned !!!
If you are thinking about moving here, DON’T. It isn’t safe, maintenance is slow, and the office staff doesn’t communicate well. First my apartment got flooded by my upstairs neighbors. I had spent the night with my boyfriend on a Sunday night and when I got home from work the next day, the ceiling was caved in, the paint was ruined, furniture and electronics were wet, the carpet was lifted up, and there were several commercial carpet fans drying the carpet. The office never even notified me about what happened. The apartment was unlivable, but they did not offer to have me stay elsewhere. Nor could they give me a time frame of when it would be fixed. So I grabbed some clothes and went back to my boyfriend’s place. I went back to check on the progress on Friday, 4 days later, and not only had they not done any repairs whatsoever, but my bedroom window was broken in and a hole was cut in the screened porch. Mind you, this is within sight of the front office and the maintenance garage. Nobody had noticed. My apartment was robbed of EVERYTHING. Luckily they let me and my roommate out of the lease, but we never got our deposit back. The gates were broken the entire 3.5 years I lived there. There were always car break ins. My dishwasher was broken for 3 months. I had packages stolen. It just isn’t safe or a good place to live. Look elsewhere for an apartment. Macon is known for crime, so I recommend somewhere with cameras and make sure you get renters insurance.

I have lived here for years and am now leaving. The past staff was excellent, but the recent group that they have now is horrid! Outside bulbs are never replaced and the common areas are filthy and have not been pressure washed in years now. People constantly throw trash off their balconies and there are actually used diapers hanging in the trees. All these issues have been brought up to management several times with nothing done. Several months ago windows were broken out in apartments at midnight, mine being one if them. Multiple calls to the on-site officer and maintenance went unanswered. It then took a week for the window to be replaced. Absolutly horrible staff response to any issue. I no longer feel safe in this complex!!!

I have been here for a little over a year now. I love my place but pest is sometimes an issue as well as getting maintenance to come and fix things. I called once and they said they would put it in but I had to call like 2 weeks later to follow up and they claimed they didn't see a work order for it. Huge inconvenience. And then when they do come and leave a note stating what they did to fix the problem it still isn't fixed. Pricing isn't bad at all. Some staff members have great customer service others don't and I try not get assisted by them because they are rude. Other than that pretty average
I advise no one to move into these apartments unless you just have no where else to go. I should have really trusted that last review I saw before I applied. Except, I was fooled and sold on their model apartment. Can you say false advertisement...... I mean from their immaculate grounds, modern luxury,lush landscaping, sparkling pool,crown molding,pre-wired alarm system, pet policies, smoke free, pest control, their rent prices, to just careless and unprofessional staff. Oh, and I have evidence to prove all the above (both pictures and videos), so trust these are no accusations. For any future residents, please view your apartment "prior" to signing any paperwork.
I recently moved to Manchester at Wesleyan and it was better than expected. The grounds are clean and the complex is quiet compared to my last place where 3am parties were a weekly thing. Within the three month of me being here, I haven't had any maintenance issues yet (knock on wood) . The office staff makes paying rent easier and more enjoyable as well. Not only is it close to everything, but is also affordable to anyone that need it. I would recommend to anyone that is looking for a great place to rent
The apartment was newly renovated like literally before I moved so of course it stood out as well maintained. As I looked closely the paint was uneven, holes weren't sealed properly on the wall and doors. Last but not least I had a bad net problem they were everywhere as well as big water bugs and spiders, which is not ok for me considering I have children.

I adore my apartment. The master closet is probably the same size as my college dorm room, the bathroom is large as well, and I just have so much space for all of my things. There is a beautiful balcony out from both my bedroom and living room that I absolutely love. My fireplace is gorgeous, and the storage is great. I just love my place! There is also plenty of parking around, too. Oh, and maintenance is extraordinary. They are always on time and prompt as well as helpful when it comes to any issues I have in my place. The staff is great and keep the property clean and pristine. The pools, lawns, trees, and everything on the areas around my apartment are absolutely lovely and wonderful and a great way to get away from everything when you need to. Plus, the apartment is just in a fantastic location. You are less than a ten minute drive from any store or mall or anything in any direction. For me personally, it is less than twenty minutes from my college, which is a huge bonus. For a college student who has never lived on her own before, this apartment is awesome. These apartments are also perfect for families, couples, and whoever else! I love it, and I would recommend it for any and everyone.
Manchester at Wesleyan is a nice place to live. Its within a 3 mile radius from many Grocery stores, good eating restaurants, and much more. The elementary school is right around the corner also. The inside of the apartment homes are nice and very spacious(The ones without a fire place). They have high ceilings and long balconies with storage off bed and living rooms. When ever there is a maintenance problem, they fix it in a timely manor. I think maintenance should be paid more, they work so so hard. There is more than one pool so it doesn't 'always' get too crowded. The Work out facility is small but you can go there and get the job done. If you need a place to do cardio you will be fine. The playground is nice. It doesn't look dirty and vandalized. I don't like that there is sand on the ground though. I would rather have rubber woodchips or something soft. Sand gets in my kids hair. Its pretty quiet at night, my sleep has never been disturbed. I have a view of the living room from my bedroom. I often look out the door into the beautiful living room with such a high ceiling and say to myself "i'm blessed" I love the indoor stairs that lead up to the second floor. The ones with outdoor stairs are nice also. You'll love the apartments and you'll love this area. Come and See for yourself!!! ......
