Thank you for your review. We're happy to know that we've exceeded your expectations and look forward to continuing to do so!
Danielle, the apartment manager is one of the rudest and unprofessional person I have ever had to deal with. I am amazed that she still has a job. I've seen countless people get served vacate the premises notices over little things like a bicycle not put away as soon as a child gets off of it, or it's 1 foot out of the 2 foot area you're allowed to keep it. I've seen notices on cars being towed simply because the model of the car was registered incorrectly with the office. This apartment complex is extremely outdated, uninsulated, and has some of the most ridiculous rules I've ever heard of. The rules and regulations of the complex change on a daily basis depending on what kind of mood the apartment manager is in at the time. Countless residents I've come across while living here have had nothing but horrible things to say about it and that they plan on leaving as soon as their lease is up if they're not evicted first. I suggest you stay far away from this place, especially if you have kids.

Eric - We are sorry you had a bad experience. Could you please reach out to info@thalhimer.com so we can escalate your concerns? Thank you!
My husband and I had a very mixed experience during our couple of years at Manchester Townhomes. On the positive side, the landscaping is nice, our neighbors were lovely, and the windows were replaced during our tenancy (which is good, because the old windows had frost accumulate on the inside during the colder months). Also, management was willing to work with us when we needed to move to a month-to-month lease. On the negative side, for the month-to-month lease, there is a requirement for 90 days notice to vacate. That's not how month-to-month works. The second negative is quality versus cost. These apartment units are absolutely not worth the rising cost of rent. The walls are thin, the carpet is cheap, and we had mold issues that were never addressed. Lastly, the professionalism of management depending entirely on the day. Some days she was pleasant and easy to work with, while other days she was incredibly abrupt and rude. Overall, we won't be recommending Manchester Townhomes.

We are planning to do some serious interior and exterior renovations in the next 12 months. We are sorry our customer service fell short. We want every resident to feel welcomed and happy in our community. We care about our residents and we will do a better job showing that. Thank you leaving this feedback so we can improve our services. We wish you luck in your future housing!
Worse place I have ever lived! The townhouses are old, outdated, and not kept up with. They leave notes on your door every other day. And they just come and go as they please in your apartment. The property manager Danielle is the rudest person you will ever meet. She does whatever she wants and never takes care of any issues.

I toured last week, with a very nice lady who looked over my income.I explained that I had property that I was owner financing & selling to my sister &payments would start in Sept. I went in today and the person who was there, was completely different. She said the payments from my sister could not be counted as income. She wouldn't even look at the CONTRACT that was drawn up by a lawyer between my sister and I.She kept saying that she was paying a debt! She's buying my house for the next 15 years. The place is lovely, but I wouldn't rent there now if they begged me too. I was basically told to leave, I wasn't good enough! All the other places I went I was welcomed with opened arms. One place I made too much! Go figure!
Great place to live! I can walk with my dog all over this beautiful property...it's like a park. Pool, ponds...maintenance is always around. Office staff is friendly and easy to talk to, I stop by and visit and they are always friendly. We had an issue with our refrigerator once and it was replaced the very next day. Great place to live!
Office staff are very friendly. The property manger is very friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful. The maintenance staff are very efficient and if I ever had a maintenance issue they were there the same day!!! Grounds are beautiful and well kept. The pool is beautiful and well kept! I highly recommend Manchester Townhomes for your new home.
Be prepared to pay very high utilities come winter months. Ice forms on the inside of the apartment as there is zero insulation. There is dog poop all over the grassy areas and the parking lot is littered with cigarette butts. The carpet is scratchy and old, the range hood is old and so are all appliaces. Air vents weren't even cleaned before i moved in. There was trash inside of it. Floor boards upstairs are broken in some places and i swear I'm gonna fall through any day now. Can't wait to move when my lease ends

We are very sorry to hear you are having issues in your home. We value all of our residents at Manchester and are concerned that you are having some issues. Since you seem to be a current resident you would need to contact the office and make us aware of these issues so we can address/repair/replace whatever issues you report. Our phone number is 540-885-4580. You can call anytime as we do have on call 24 hour maintenance for emergencies as well as an answering service to leave a message on if it is not. We are in the office Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm. You can also make work order requests through the resident portal or by dropping a note in the drop box. 99.9% of the time any maintenance issue is addressed the same day it is made. We would love to be able to make the rest of your lease experience with Manchester a pleasant one.
The staff do not care about you and are next to useless. The laundry facility on site is a joke. the washer tears the cloths and the dryers are from the 50s and hardly dry dry fit clothing. They do not enforce any policies. Can often smell pot either outside or inside the apartment complex. There are multiple counts of vandalize which occur on the premise and the staff ignores these reports. One example is a disgruntle past resident who spreads a whole box of nails in the drive way in hopes of causing flat tires... He is successful. This offense occurs monthly and results in many resident getting a flat tire. The neighbors are loud and the walls are paper thin so you can always hear conversations occurring next door. Over all bad experience and displeased with the premise.

We are sorry to hear you haven't fully enjoyed your experience living here. Negative or positive – we value all feedback we receive, so thank you for your review.
My boyfriend and I moved here over a year ago. Since moving in, we've had some minor maintenance repairs that were promptly fixed. The maintenance men are amazing and good at what they do. As for the "amenities," there is no way you could play a game of tennis on their courts. The asphalt is torn up and needs some TLC. Since their basketball courts are connected to the tennis courts, they need attention as well. It's not a very safe place for children as there are tripping hazards in the whole court area. The pool area is very nice, and the hours are very reasonable as well. Landscaping is a huge issue that we came across. We had a bush in the front of our townhome that would grow out so far that there was no way to get around it in order to walk through the front door. We complained for months (2 1/2 exactly) and finally were told that the landscapers were contracted out and basically there was nothing that the complex could do. Overall, the complex is very nice and roomy, but does not measure up to how much you are paying for rent. It's a good complex to live in while we find something permanent.
Manchester townhomes are an older set of apartments. While they have a couple ponds for fishing ... A pool .... and a small play area for children they are very dated. I moved here because of the price being the closest to what I could afford being a newly single mother. It's very quiet and a nice place to stay but like I stated before the fixtures and cabinets and pretty much everything has never changed since they were built.
