Property Ratings at Manor Park Apartments
Very impressed with this apartment complex. The Property Manager Dijana is extremely professional, knowledgeable and efficient. The apartments are well kept, and the complex is quiet and well maintained. I would recommend this facility to anyone seeking a new place to call home.
Its nice because it is usually quiet. The washer and dryer are small and cost $1.50 a load. I can hear my upstairs neighbor walking around all the time. In winter you can hear the hot water pipes always making noises. In winter you usually don't need the heat on because it is so hot, I can't imagine how it feels on the second floor. Some folks on the second floor run the air conditioning and it is so loud down on the first floor. Electric stoves suck because I am used to gas. Never a problem finding parking.
I’ve only lived here for about 4 months but I absolutely love it, it’s a nice quiet community and it’s in walking distance to a bunch of stores and my work place. This is the perfect first apartment for me and my dog. All the staff are very friendly.
We have lived here for a little over a year now. I love it here. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The property manager is knowledgeable and answers all my questions in a timely manor. They will come fix anything in my apartment A.S.A.P. no fighting or arguing. I feel very safe staying home alone at night with my 2 year old. And walking my dog after dark. Most tenants keep to themselves making a quiet, calm "neighborhood". The curb appeal is gorgeous. Big well lit, well maintained, green yards for my son and pup to play in. Along with well placed clean up stations for the dogs. My apartment is clean and well taken care of. Lots of storage space and a big spacious kitchen. I really enjoy living here and can not see us moving out anytime soon. I would 100% recommend living here for people of all ages and family sizes. It's a great environment and the management teams does a fantastic job making this less like an apartment complex and more like a home.
There is a “manager” here who doesn’t know anything, you have to wait for the property manager for help. I use quotes because I doubt she really has this title. NOISY neighbors, made several attempts to quiet this and got nothing. People take clothes out of the washer/dryer if they’re left in for more than a few minutes past the buzzer. Stink bugs and huge spiders everywhere inside and out of the apartment. New windows and there is still a very big draft. People leave trash outside their doors for far too long as there’s only a few dumpsters. I couldn’t wait to leave this place.
All management do is LIE. Staff is very UNPROFESSIONAL They go up on your rent $25 every year after promising you a fixed rate. The maintenance staff has the competency of a five year old when it comes to fixing things. You must have renters insurance to live there. Apartment complex has BAD spider and Ant problem. The exterminator is a joke. Apartments, are really hot in the bedrooms during the summer. When the heating goes out in the winter and trust me it will, you will be given a small space heater to use and your work orders will be ignored. Washing machines are always broken down. Walkways, are barely shoveled, in the winter and they do not put down much salt either. You have to pay out of pocket to have your carpet cleaned, drip pans replaced on your stove, and blinds replaced. The place is like a prison camp old people are watch dogs. You can't even hang decorations from your window during the holidays. If you enjoy the outdoors you can't leave any lawn chairs outside either. The apartments have a bad venelation system, no matter how much you open your windows you will get all kinds of bad smells in your unit from other apartments. Most,t enants are very noisy, they stomp over your head, all times of night you can barely get any rest. The kitchens are painted with very cheap paint and wax on the floor that will peel 30 days after you put your belongings in the cabinet, so beware of potential led poisoning. You will also be advised to keep your bathroom window cracked so that your apartment won't potentially get MOLD. I can go on. This place is over the top, DON'T MOVE HERE PERIOD! They will call the cops on you in the blink of an eye for whatever readon. Lastly, it saddens me because they are taking advantage more so of the elderly, because they are all set in their ways, and have lived here so long with no desire to move, because they are mostly on fixed income.
Manor Park is a great place for apartment living. The apartment complex is family friendly as well as pet friendly. Access to nearby business also makes it accessible to shop, catch the bus, or walk to Lake Captains ball park for affordable fun for ball games, concerts, and more. My mother and I both have rented here for several years in separate units. It is a must. (laughter), We also received quick response to any needs from receiving packages to maintenance calls. Recently we received upgrades without requesting the need. The office and maintenance staff are very accommodating and friendly. They treat us like family. They have made it a point to look in at the elderly and those who are having difficulties. Consider this a place to stop and check out when you have a need for a long or short living requirement. Notice the courtyard that is a draw for many residents. The pricing of these apartments are affordable and competitive in the area.

Thank you so much for your positive review. Manor Park is so happy you are enjoying your home and upgrades. Please let the office know if you ever need anything. Manor Park is here for you.
My boyfriend and I have lived here for almost four years. We've never had a problem, especially since Caitlin became the property manager. It's an old apartment building, and things will never be perfect, but we've never had any serious issues. Caitlin, Doug and Reese are always smiling and friendly, and willing to help you out if you need it. Residents keep mostly to themselves which I appreciate. Maintenance comes quickly. The washers, dryers, and lighting are what you would expect for an older apartment building. A lot of older folks and families live here so it's low-key and simple. We will live here until it's time for us to move out of the area!

Thank you for sharing your experience at Manor Park Apartments. Best of luck to you and your Boyfriend. Have a wonderful day.
Instead of writing a review I would rather share an experience. For the past 9 years of renting apartments I have seen good, great and bad when it comes to renting. The last 4 years I have been renting at Manor Park Apts. The first thing I noticed was the curb side appeal! I love the huge courtyard and cleanliness of the complex. It gave me the feeling of being a home and not just another Apt. When I entered the front office I was greeted with excellent hospitality and felt such a positive atmosphere. I could tell by the organized front office that this complex is well maintained. I didn't even look at the apt. I was renting because I was so confident in the property managers positive personality and when I moved in I was so happy. as far as neighbors everyone has been respectful and friendly. The most exciting part about renting besides the awesome courtyard is the Captains stadium in walking distance. My daughter and I love watching fireworks every time they win lol!!! The maintenance on the apt has always been on point and taken care of right away. It truly feels like a home here and not just another apt building. I would recommend looking into your own experience from Manor Park Apts.

Thank you very much for your lovely review. Manor Park appreciates the positive feedback. Please let us know if you ever need anything. We are here for our residents and hope you continue to enjoy your perfect apartment.
The managing staff is very courteous and friendly. Quite professional and prompt to my needs. The maintenance staff are also quite friendly and prompt when issues do arise. There are an elementary and high school close by. I love that I can stand in my bedroom and see the fireworks display at the captains stadium when games end without trees blocking my view. Parking is decent, and plenty of stores close by. I recommend Manor Park to people looking for a nice place to stay. Some of my neighbors have been here for a good number of years and have no complaints. A apartments.

Thank you. Manor Park is pleased that you are enjoying living at our community. We work hard to make sure every resident receives personal attention, quick responses, and of course, the best possible rental home!
Stay away from these apartments. On going bedbug out break that they r brushing under the rug for over 5months and still making tenants pay for rent and they have to pay outrageous amount for termanex to spray and the bugs r spreading.

When it comes to any type of pest situation we immediately seek out to our professional exterminator partner. Our residents don't incur charges unless verified from our professional exterminator partner. We truly apologize for your situation and handle these matters as soon brought to our attention. Don't hesitate to reach to reach out to management with any questions.
The management is good and helpful. The buildings are older and sometimes have issues, but they try to address them as efficiently and quickly as possible. I would say the only complaint I have is the air conditioning unit is low in the wall and you can't put any furniture in front of it.
