Mansfield Village

I have lived here at Mansfield for 2 1/2 years and I have no complain. The maintenance team is amazing and the peace that I enjoy here has no price. When something needs to be fixed Omar send his guys right away. Besides it is a centric area I have all the amazing stores around me so what else can I ask for? The Landlord I don't personally know him but he cares for the facility that it looks nice, beautiful and clean. I congratulate him and I hope that I never have to leave from here. This is the most peaceful place I've had. I love Mansfield Village

MY A/C has not been working for a while - it has been in and out - (the heater portion). They fixed it right away. They are amazing - especially the super OMAR. He ensures things are done to keep the place up and running. Nice place to live.

I’ve been living in Mansfield village fore about 4 years now and I can’t say enough good things about this place! The apartments are well maintained and well designed. Maintenance is always available 24/7 with great response times. Having a great maintenance honestly makes the place worth it! There’s also plenty of grassy areas for kids to play and even a tennis court. Overall a wonderful and clean place!

After 6 months of living here, I can safely say that I am more than satisfied with my experience. Everything from phone calls, touring apartments, applying and signing my lease was seamless and wonderful (even during COVID-time). Since moving in, Omar and his team have been nothing less than professional, courteous, and responsive. Anytime I've had an issue (not that there's been many, but on the occasion that they do happen...) the team is there in a timely manner to fix everything, good-as-new. If you're looking for a safe place to live with a wonderful team to support the place, this is where you should go.

I placed a call regarding the hall light that is in the stairway between my apartment and my neighbor upstairs apartment that comes on at night night that went out. It went out causing the stairway to be dark and dangerous. Maintenance made sure the light was replaced within a day.

Just I moved November 1st to the apartment 681. This is the very quite and peaceful place,Applying to rental office and signing lease was very tremendous, specially Mr.Omer very helpful and friendly and he was solving the problems very quick.

I moved in October 1st so far it has been great! Very peaceful and quiet. Maintenance has been prompt and so helpful.

I am from apt 584 and have been living here since January and it has been an amazing experience living here at Mansfield village. Beautiful complex and very relaxing. But what has impressed me most is the amazing team of Omar and his staff. From day 1 he has treated me and my family with love and respect. In all my years of renting I have never seen a team respond to issues so quickly. This team replaced my water heater in less than 2 hours. A request that sometimes can take almost a whole day! I have nothing but love for Omar! If you are thinking about moving here just know that you will have a staff that will truly take care of you!

I have been living at Mansfield village over 14 years. After they had Omar as there super who is one of the best things have changed drastically. He is right on the job with out any delays. He gets work done. Very reliable person and a person of immense character and word. Things which were never possible once gets done immediately. we all love and respect him worth residing in Mansfield village now Mehul Lall

Merry Christmas 2017!! I wanted to wish Omar, head of Maintenance, along with his team a very Merry Christmas! It was a bit icy this morning and our maintenance was out making sure the driveways and walkways were safe. I very much appreciate their work as I had company arriving for the day. I have been here awhile, needing some work to be done in my apartment. One call sent over Omar. He was prompt, courteous and listened. He had his team set for the several repairs that I have requested. The jobs were completed. Omar had come to see the completed work and make sure it was as I had requested. He has been one of the best supervisors we have had here. Much appreciation for his helpfulness! debs

Very nice group and friendly Omar and Dorian nice people they help me to move from one bedroom to tow bedroom and now I have my tow brothers move to Mansfield vlg I love it so much thank you omar and Dorian for your help wish you happy year thank you agin

Nice community but the roads are so horrible. Neighbors are friendly

I enjoy living in Mansfield Village however I do wish there were routine checks on apartments. We were supposed to have certain filters replaced every two months the first year we lived here and no one came to do it. It was not until after we were going without air conditioning and had to call that we were made aware of this. They also had to do construction on Nikitin Road due to something with the water, but the road still has yet to be fixed and this was months ago. Thank you for your time.

4 1/2 years ago I was looking for a new apartment, I went on to apartments.com and searched. I moved into mansfield village and absolutely love my apartment. It's cozy, it's quiet, it's the perfect size for me and my bf.and most importantly it's affordable.The staff is always on top of things, whenever there was a little maintanence problem or whatever, they come right away. The winter they have people around the clock removing the ice and snow. I've never had a problem here. I love it and definitely recommend it!

Things about Mansfield Village: *The one-bedrooms are under $900 a month. * Most people giving you directions here will tell you it's "behind Home Depot." * It IS behind Home Depot. * But it's also up a hill and surrounded on three sides by wooded state land. * So quite a few apartments face woods on one side. * All units have a front AND a back, btw. CROSS VENTILATION. * Some units have hardwood floors, others have wall-to-wall carpeting. * Hardwood is nicer and somehow $20 per month cheaper. * 35-year-old units are gradually being renovated with new fixtures and appliances. (These have slightly higher rent, but the new windows are worth it.) * About half the units have central air and heat; the others come with wall units (you'll need your own window ACs for the bedrooms) and baseboard heat, but in the second group UTILITIES ARE INCLUDED, so the heat doesn't affect your electric bill. * On-site laundry in the basements of certain buildings; apparently they've just replaced all the machines but I haven't seen them yet. * You're allowed to paint the walls if you want. * The maintenance guys are pretty good about responding to issues and plowing the parking lots and walkways in the winter. * It's just outside Hackettstown proper. * Most shopping needs (several big-box stores and two supermarkets) are within a 5-to-10 minute drive. * An OK movie theater is walkable in decent weather. * Hackettstown is small but has a surprising number of good restaurants. * Wild blackberries grow around the perimeter. * DOWNSIDE: Centipedes. They're gross. Kill them when they're small.
