From afar this place seems to be a top-notch place considering the surrounding area however that's another topic for another day. I am pretty sure some time ago this place was really special but I am telling you that all has changed. If you come to look around the complex you will see a lot of things from the outside that are red flags and I am warning you to not ignore them. Previous maintenance staff that worked here have said that the units in the back are the oldest in the community so you know they might be concerning. Luckily I didn't live back there but knew someone that did and they said that when it rains it's a lake back there and the potholes will destroy your car. However, if you can get a place upfront that's where you want to be. The units are nicer from what I am told than the ones in the rear and it's real quiet upfront. They did a big renovation to the mansion but there are a lot of problems still there from what I see in other people's reviews recently. This is just my observation. For the money, I just don't think it all adds up and they might be just trying to see what all they can get by overpricing and making little to no improvements as possible.
I've lived at many apartment complexes in the Indianapolis area for last decade and Mansion Row far exceeds my expectations. They are quick to respond to emergencies and always take care of any issues we have. The area is quiet, beautiful, and the view of the mansion when pulling in is always nice. Couldn't recommend more!
This used to be a great place to live. I’ve been a tenant here since 2019 and now that it’s under new management, it’s been awful. They bother tenants too much, many invasive “maintenance” visits that do not actually fix issues, very greedy, and new management is cold, condescending, callous. There are better places to live. Just waiting a few months until I can get out.
Do not rent here, you’ll regret it! Management is AWFUL! Terrible! They are rude, do not fix anything, the mansion is falling apart, literally, and they do not care. They just want to raise rent and do as little as possible. Priorities are all wrong and apparently the owners do not care what is going on. Stay far away.
Owner needs new property management company. Used to be quiet place. Used to be good place to live. Not anymore.
I lived here for over 5 years. I referred 3 friends here for how great it was. Once the property was sold out to a big corporation, it’s gone down in quality. Loose trash on the property, big/aggressive dogs OFF leashes (asked management many times to address this given the 40 pound limit - pit bulls ain’t 40 lbs- nothing changed), distant and callous management. Noticed the maintenance person “looting” the dumpster multiple times for scraps (saw him pull out a broken file drawer and fishing rods I threw away day of move out). I asked the property for financial assistance with pro-rating the rent for our last month. We moved out a full month before our lease was up. Despite referring 4 people to this property and being perfect tenants for 5 years, they were unwilling to prorate a single day of our (uninhabited) last month. All they care about is money at the expense of quality to the property. Unfortunately I would normally recommend this property, but cannot any more.
Mansion Row is a hidden gem! I live in a one-of-a-kind former Stables unit. With exposed brick, wood-like floors and an open floor plan - I still can’t get over the beauty of my apartment! Debbie and Chris are attentive and work quickly to solve any issues that arise. I’ve been here 9 months and have absolutely fallen in love with the community.
