Property Ratings at Mansions at Jordan Creek
There are nothing but lies on their website. They do not have a hot tub (apparently it was filled in a few years ago - from what I was told), it is almost July and the pool isn’t consistently open as they are “balancing chemicals” since May. If you need any maintenance done - good luck! Took us 4 conversations and 3 months to get our garage lock fixed. Also the picture of the table in the “dining room” is not a dining room it is a walkway that you may be able to fit a two person mini table at. Only good thing is the location, everything else is awful!
Not a very good experience so far. I moved in mid February and the apartment was a complete disaster and was not move in ready at all. Not to mention, some of the mess was from when maintenance was in the apartment. There have been many things needing to be fixed throughout the apartment as time goes on and it hasn’t been easy to get these things done. They fix what they deem is important (paint touch ups rather than a mailbox with sensitive information not being able to close and then you won’t hear from them after they ‘fix’ things) For the amount rent is, 1. There should not be this many problems and 2. Management should be quick to fix things. I am very unimpressed with not only the quality of the apartments but also the way management handles things. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to live here. Save your money and rent somewhere else.
We really appreciate the awesome office staff and super maintenance of the Mansion apartments. Tommy does an amazing job keeping up with all the demands and does so in such a friendly way. Thanks for reinforcing our garage doors. The new paint looks great. I love the new color of the doors. Thank you so much for your continued efforts in making our home well cared for! Kaylah, Thank you also for your quick response to our emails!. We really appreciate being able to use the clubhouse. It sure makes for a super place to have family functions.

Awful- half the equipment in the workout room is broken. Treadmill safety feature clips are broken off. We pay 35 dollars for an eco fee and snow removal. It snowed two days ago for the first time this winter and the parking lot has yet to be plowed. Not sure what we are paying for then. Maintenance harasses me constantly. I am assuming because I am the youngest tenant renting. Management is a joke. Upstairs neighbors stomp around and can't pick up their feet. If you live above a garage, prepare to get no sleep because the garage doors are so loud. Expensive for no reason. Pool is nasty and open for only a couple months. DO NOT rent here.

in the last week Wow. That's all I have to say. If I could give this place a 0 stars I would. Coryn is awful. When I signed my lease here, I guess I really had no idea what it was that I was signing up for. Not only have I heard of multiple people getting their belongings stolen, but the pool and hot tub constantly have problems and the communication with staff is horrible. I can't wait to get out of my lease. My boyfriend and I have had nothing but problems since a few days after signing the lease. Everyone seems so nice at first, but it's obviously because they want to wine and dine you to get you to sign the papers. Pool dirty. Hot tub coated in a green mold and once I even saw dead floating frogs. Very dissapointed, so many other great options in the area. DON'T LEASE HERE!! If you're that persistent on doing so, please sublease from me SO I CAN GET OUT!! :(
I give this place a 1 star. Not only is Corine extremely rude and unprofessional, but she is also dishonest and has lied to me and several other tenants multiple times. I am writing this in anonymously and many of us who are tired of the staff and service here are going to do the same. First, the amenities. The pool and hot tub are never open. If you read other replies, everyone else seems to say the same. Egypt, below in a comment wrote about green slime and dead frogs floating around bloated an dead. I can contest to this and also verify this is true. I have seen it on several occasions. Next, the gym. The gym is not only small, it is completely unsafe and dirty. The mailroom is a disaster and packages are thrown in there with little care. When it comes to the actual apartment, they are small and very outdated. I don't understand why someone would choose this place with all of the other options around. For example, I saw a place not far in waukee that is a 3 bedroom, brand new, beautiful, double the square feet, offering two months of free rent for a total of $900 a month after being prorated. Not only does the AC constantly go out with very delayed maintenance response, but also the carpets are dirty, appliances white and falling apart, and the bathrooms filthy. My shower leaked for weeks and tub had a small crack in it that did the same. I don't recommend this place to anyone. The staff is unfriendly aside from maintenance, the price is outrageous and the amenities are awful. Please look elsewhere and don't waste your time or money!
I can't believe how expensive these are! Since I've started looking at these they have gone up $80 for just a one bedroom. They have prices comparable to some of the top apartment complexes in west Des Moines. The difference is you will pay more here for downgrades. Other places with these rates have upgraded and brand new cabinets and appliances a nice pool and fitness center. The pool here is tiny and they didn't have it open for memeorial weekend. That is a big deal to a lot of people that is opening weekend for pools!! Fitness center is also tiny. They don't have numbers on garages which is basically the only place for guests to park. They have been talking about getting around to do that for over 6 months. They don't keep up with the dog park there are dead birds and a stream of stagnant water runs through it. It's not somewhere I want my dog to go hang out. The prices are set way too high for the quality. If you want to label this complex as "luxury apartments" then it better go above and beyond for quality and maintenance work ethic. Unfortunately it has neither.
The Mansions of Jordan Creek are a small, up-scale, quiet community with quite a few wonderful amenities. A large swimming pool, hot tub, free tanning, 24 hour fitness center, private entrances, washer & dryer within unit, garages are included in monthly rent. It's minutes away from schools, major interstates, a large mall and famous restaurants. I have found my home at The Mansions of Jordan Creek and I know you will too!!
Neglect has set in. Spider webs and huge spiders go ignored. The hot tub is always hit and miss. The staff is super nice but slow to resolve things. Embarrassing to have friends over with all the spider webs. There's always an excuse to take care of things.
The management here is great. Everyone is so nice, helpful and know the residents by name. The Maintenence guy is super helpful and more than willing to help. The apartments are a bit over priced for not having updated appliances but it's super close to the main Wells Fargo HQ. Their focus is not as well rounded as it should be, for example they focus a lot on keeping the grass cut but the stairs are covered in spider webs and have not been cleaned in the three months we've been here. But overall it's nice here and I enjoy the heated pool.
Excellent community. Nestled in a quite neighborhood, lots of trees which makes it very peaceful. The apartments have an open layout, washing/drying machines in each unit and a great balcony. Best thing is they are dog-friendly. Would definitely recommend these apartments to a friend.
The apartment is amazing and the staff are nice and friendly.
I am in love with this complex. Super friendly staff, great location, and awesome apartment. The apartments are set up like townhomes, so your entry way is right to the outside. I have an awesome view of a pond in my back yard, wood floors, dark wood counters, granite counter tops, high ceilings, washer and dryer in unit, and plenty of space. It's dog friendly - After a one time fee, it's only around $25 a month to have a dog in your apartment, a dog park is in the complex, a neighborhood trail to run on, there's a puppy pool day - yet the grass is always accident free! Only downside is that the garages are a little pricey and farther away from the units, there is only one internet and cable provider to choose from (nexgen & direct tv), and there's no place really to go if there is a tornado since there are no basements.
The Mansions of Jordan Creek are elegant condos within a small & quiet community. They are reliably priced, pet friendly, and have a lot of amenities. You will love living at the Mansions of Jordan Creek!!!
