Because everything there is old and and broken down and the service never helps, i had window blinds and they were broken we asked for them to fix it and they never did. The dishwasher was broken and they never fixed it and the carpets are musty
Terrible apartments… The AC and the apartments are always having problems the windows are very old in the apartment it’s not insulated very well there’s problem with roaches and water bugs especially during the summer with water bugs! The leasing office is terrible they do not care anything about the residence needs they just want your money. Do NOT MOVE HERE And the maintenance guys always have attitude since I’ve been in these apartments they also change staff very frequently they can never keep employees
They do not listen to their residents complaints they totally disregard their comments and concerns about their living questions. Their technology isn't up to date. Couldn't get in the home that I'm paying for because the locks were broken, which is something that I've been telling them for a long time. This caused me to stay locked out my own home for hours! and their maintenance that they so called said is 24 hours have not came to help.
management has done nothing about the security codes on the building doors. Homeless people have been sleeping in the foyers of the apartments in front of people's doors. Poor management!!
Both my car and my wife car got broken into the same night as a few others in this complex. They also have terrible management. The air conditioning is terrible in a bunch of units and the water doesnt stay hot at all. Its a race against time just to take a shower. Its horrible and i cant wait to move.
Poor management. They tell you "well I'm doing the best I can" when it's come to them send maintenance. It been 3 months I have been waiting for the crew to come to the apt. Poor poor management. The bath tub is horrible! The people in the office is zero help! I moved in to dirty apt they told me they was going to send a maid never did. And once again the bath tub is horrible. Low quality of the wood floor. Spend your extra buck somewhere else. I ask the front office for there boss number they told me they're the boss and they have no one higher up. If anyone have access to that info please share it. Horrible horrible apt. Old dusty blends. My carpet in my room & closet has been getting wet for a week now because of the crack in my bath tub. I'm calling the front office to get them to send someone and they get a attitude with me?????????? Do your job. Just lazy, rude and no help. Zero stars. They moved me into an apartment with a cracked bath tub.
The apartments are pretty decent. I like the structure overall. The rooms are nice. Bathroom are beautiful. I am here because of the school. The people at leasing office are not of any help. I have complained them from the second week of moving in about the NEW PAINT OF MY BATHTUB peeling off but it has been six months and nothing has been done. The old dirty tub has revealed and they don’t care. All they do is take a note every time I called and it’s been at least 30 calls and over 7 emails messages complaining about it. Can’t wait for my lease to be over. I’m utterly frustrated.. If you are ok with your stuff not getting fixed in time, then it’s ok to live here. I’m so disappointed at all the sweet talks they do before moving in.
We have lived at the Mansions of Shadowbriar for almost 14 years! While here we have had the pleasure to make a relationship with the Staff! When you give respect, you get respect! We always pay our Rent by the 1st of the Month! If there is anything that needs fixing, all we do is call the phone # and press #3 and there is a real person on the other end. I Love our Maintenance personal! They are professional and fix or replace broken items in the apartment in 1 day! We live in an apartment that has never been refurbished, but this is very rare! The improvements to our apartment they know is needed without question and they make sure they order the parts or have them on hand when they come! The rent is very reasonable so We have money to eat too! You can't put a price on caring for your home and again the maintenance Men are the best! The staff Care a lot! Home Sweet Home, Love My Apartment!
I've been here almost 2yrs and although it's an older complex, it's comfortable. Maintenance answered my request in a timely fashion. The office staff is always pleasant when I stopped in or called. The dumpster can get a little overwhelming to look at when its full but I've seen maintenance maintain it as best they can until the trash trucks come. Parking can be challenging but not a complete burden. I feel safe going to my mailbox or just back and forth to my car at night. Overall a nice place to live. I've been blessed with great neighbors and hate to leave but my family grew and they don't have 3 bedroom units. I give it a 4 stars only because it's older but updated to a degree. I'll miss this place and would definitely recommend it to anyone.
The price was right, the maintenance crews try but the building is falling apart too quickly. The apartment is poorly insulated. The neighborhood has had it's share of break-ins and assaults.
I have lived here twice. I love the apartment itself, but the service call leave something to be desired. It takes several calls to get help. Also, the don't always have the resident in mind. It's more about the money.
We have lived here for over 5 years. Here is a list of issues we have with this complex and their management staff. -They will charge $50 per parking sticker per car. But it looks like they don't put a limit on how much they sell, because I can never park in my own lot after 7PM. The whole parking lot is full of vehicles without stickers, and the towing company never shows up to tow unauthorized vehicles. I would know because I have called them myself just about every night I came home at 8PM and had to park on the street. - They installed security cameras, but management has neglected the fact that most of the security cameras are blocked by the trees on the property. I have brought this up to the right people, even asked the maintenance crew but they advised that they cannot do anything about it, only the management and lawn care staff can take care of it. We have placed requests, still nothing done. - The office staff screens their calls. I have noticed this by calling from my main number and not getting an answer, then calling from a different number but quickly get an answer. - There is usually only one person available at the leasing office. The manager is rarely available. So every time there is an issue to discuss, the other employee can only advise that we come back another time to speak with the manager. - It seems they do not do the proper background check on their new tenants. I can personally say I have witnessed drugs being sold right from our parking lot. Usually around 9PM. - Our building main entrance door keypad lock was broken for over 3 months. We placed many requests with their office about fixing it. They didn't actually fix it until just before a new tenant moved into one of the units in our building. - The windows aren't properly sealed, be ready to wake up to dumpster trucks picking up trash from the business buildings right next to the complex at 5AM on the dot. Every day. - The parking lot lights don't always work. And it takes management about 6 months before they actually do something about it. - They constantly make error with our monthly rent. They will add additional fees to your rent and not tell you. Then they will put a note on your door saying you are late on your $10 payment, and if not paid by a certain time and date, they will send this to collections. They have acknowledged this error on their part, yet I still get these notes on our door every month. I hope that sums it up for you folks!
The Mansions of Shadowbriar are ok but for the price they lack the amenities most apartments in the area have. The apartments also have units that are individually owned so you have no way of knowing if your neighbor passed any background checks, etc. The floor plans are nice and give the feel of a house instead of a apartment. The complex is pretty quiet but the area is pretty busy.
The maintenance is terrible it take them almost four months to fix something. Manager is never there. They just won't fix thing right way.....
