Property Ratings at Maple at Med Center
Update 7/24/23: Maple At medcenter continues to decline. The pool is always dirty. Very poor landscaping around the pool area. Those pool chairs and cushions are from the day the community first opened as “Alta Maple Station”. They are disgusting. The new team ordered new ones (the navy blue) but did not order a complete set…? It just looks horrible. The elevator is always out of service in building 1 and creates problems for package deliveries. I don’t understand why in 2023 they haven’t installed some sort of package locker system to make things easier for delivery drivers and residents. The leasing office also refuses to hold packages. Let’s talk about how they always leave the trash bins blocking the parking garage entrance and causes issues for drivers. They leave them out over the weekend and trash blows all over the community. They also need to stop leaving the trash bins at the first corner when going up the garage as they always cause issues when 2 vehicles are trying to come through. Maintenance requests have become incredibly slow to complete (2wks+). There is so much potential for this community and things were excellent when we were Alta Maple Station. It seems like the new owners don’t really care about maintaining the property and keeping their residents. I’ll continue to update every few months/weeks. The only positive that has come with the new owners is they added onsite security

This place seemed great in the beginning, but quickly fell apart. Toward the end of my lease the property was acquired by another company. The entire property is covered in trash, they have one person cleaning the two buildings and surrounding property. Trash rooms are atrocious. Management was supposed to input my intent to vacate, and straight up quit. I was then made responsible for their own mistake. I attempted to make contact with the office and corporate with poor customer service. After months of calling, and emailing without any return correspondence the property continued to make us financially responsible for their own error and placed the charges on my partners credit report. This place is the worst and not worth the headache. Run….

M. Espada, Thank you for taking the time share your experience and for allowing me to reach out and speak with you regarding the issues you had. I hope that the resolution has been satisfactory. Please reach out to the office if we can offer any additional assistance.
Terrible …… between maintenance men breaking and making situations worse , no one to ever pick up the phone and also rats in the hall save yourself time and money . Worse two years of my life
This place doesn't deserve a star. Lived here for 2 years and just moved out!! Has gone downhill tremendously. Got new owners that don’t care. So bad that all employees quit and there’s only 1 person in the office and 1 maintenance person. The halls haven’t been cleaned in over a month!!! Car break ins every week and the only employee says she can’t do anything about anything!

My roommate and I lived here for almost three years and once they got the new management it has gotten bad. Management is very unfriendly and hard to talk to. Good luck with move out because you’ll get charged an arm and a leg for things you shouldn’t be charged for. I would not recommend anyone living here. Also not the safest area. I had a scary encounter and called the apartment complex management and they did absolutely nothing about it.
I feel like the whole time I have lived here I have gotten the short end of the stick. Very disappointed in what should have been a great experience, especially for the price.
Alta Maple Station has been home for me for 3 years. I was attracted to the apartment because of its LARGE closets. I've stayed because of the people. The staff are amazing and make you feel like you are truly at home. The leasing office staff make an effort to know you and help in any way that they can. They always great you with a smile. The staff that help keep the property clean are also always smiling and always ready to help. I'm moving because I'm leaving Texas. I would highly recommend this apartment.
Pest control is a problem at this complex. Not sure why the building is only 2 years old. Also the apartment has poor sound insulation. You can hear normal conversations in the hallway from your apartment.

Alta Maple Station is a beautiful apartment building in Dallas. I love the Dart rail access; it's perfect for a trip down to the American Airlines Center, Victory Park, or The Heart of Downtown. Great staff!

Hello and thank you for your review! We do have such a wonderful location with Direct Dart Access and minutes from everything. Thank you for choosing Alta Maple Station.
Apartment complex has dogs and cats everywhere. Too many fleas. Unclean complex. Don't stay here.
Great place to live. Generous size apartments, very well appointed. The manager Carrie is particularly attentive and makes you feel appreciated for being a tenant. I stop in on a regular basis to say hi and am happy to frequently hear about upgrades and improvements being made to the property. Most importantly for me, the property has only had one managing company. From speaking to the manager and staff at the front desk, Wood Residential has a reputation for hanging on to most, if not all of their properties for a very long time, so they know their properties intimately. Maintenance is handled quickly, politely and efficiently, and the attention to detail to keep the property appealing is wonderful. Any community issues or inspections are always well communicated in advance, and community get-togethers are frequent. I feel safe and comfortable knowing that all front doors to the apartments are only accessible from internal, air-conditioned, hallways. Finally, it is very dog-friendly with a dog run, dog litter stations all over the property, and plenty of dog treats are always available in the front office! I was meticulous in my apartment search when moving to Dallas, and Alta Maple Station checked all of my boxes.

Hi Cary, Thank you very much for your feedback, we are very happy that you have been very happy at Alta Maple Station. We certainly always want to provide the best living experience possible. We look forward to your continued residency.
Alta Maple Station is a amazing place to live, its fun, staff is amazing (Allayna and Carrie ROCK), clean, and very reasonably priced (especially with my one month free incentive at move in). I leased in Aug of 2015 in my Brand New 2 Beds 2 Baths apartment for 15 months. I love how beautiful the recycle glass counter tops shines off the studio lights, especially in the kitchen. The layout is really open with the Kitchen as you enter, then the living room. Love the tall ceiling (only on the first floor), as soon as you walk in. My favorite feature in the apartment is the blue tooth speakers built into the wall. You can connect any device to it and play music throughout the apartment. Speakers are only in the living room and kitchen, but definitely sets the mood when having guests over. I enjoy the monthly resident events we have, they are extremely festive to match the holidays. I look forward to the pool parties in the summer, lots prizes, booze, food, and tons of fun!! The location is perfect, since we're so close to a lot of the oak lawn bars and restaurants, and conveniently right next to the dart station. Alta Maple Station is definitely the happening place to Live in Dallas.
Absolute knuckle heads running this place, completely incompetent. Good luck parking, they let people park in handicap spots and the fire lane! I sure hope there's never a fire or medical emergency. Neighbors are very loud and disrespectful. Can't wait to move out!
Stay away! Management is awful, parking is awful, neighbors are loud and disrespectful.
If you are looking for decent apartment complex in close vicinity to Uptown Dallas, you should definitely check out Alta Maple Station (AMS). Their rent is competitive and its the only reason I 'm still living here. Management is nice and helpful. Its been 3 months I have been living here and I have faced gnat and ant infestation, on 2 separate occasions. And not just me, my neighbors are experiencing the same. Noise from the club-room can be annoying as AMS allows party's to continue till 12am. I would like to give them 2.5 stars not 3.
cool place so far. Amenities rock. Bit of noise sometimes since some students but tolerable and not annoying yet.
There were several reasons why I decided to sign a lease here instead of the thousands of other new apartments popping up around Dallas. The interior hallways are heated and cooled which is a BIG deal in Dallas weather. They have trash valet service Sunday-Thursday. The kitchen backsplash, counters, cabinets and the wood flooring are beautiful and go together so well. There are sun shades dor your patio windows which really helps with electricity. My July and August electricity bills were $50 and $55. The front office is nice but leaves you alone unlike other apartments. The one negative thing I have to say is they just put in a bunch of reserved parking spots in the garage and if I get home after 8pm I usually have to park on a different floor :/
This apartment LOOKs incredible with fancy fixtures and amenities...however the quality is less than desirable. The sinks in both kitchens and bathrooms don't have a tilt to them, so you're constantly having to physically push things into the drain. There is ZERO sound proofing--I can hear every neighbor around me. Its built like a Courtyard Marriott in the fact the units face into the pool area...which is all concrete so everything echoes. When my front door closes I don't feel like I'm in a vault, rather a tent.
The apartments are amazing with a clean look, huge closets with lots of built in shelving, and a large bathroom. Apartment building also has nice amenities including multiple grills, a pool, outdoor lounge areas, a fitness center, study rooms, and free printing!! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Right next to the DART rail which is perfect for commuting and within walking distance to Parkland and UT southwestern. The one downside is this apartment complex isn't very guest friendly. All doors and most parking require a remote, which you cannot get for guests, and a recent change limits parking for guests to the top level of the parking garage, which you need a remote to get in and out of. Overall, an amazing apartment and location for the price!!
