Property Ratings at Maple Leaf Apartments
This place stinks and it’s dirty from the outside in. Please be wary of living here. The pictures are very deceiving because it looks nice and clean and put together but this place is a wreck.
I moved here on desperate times and I can’t wait till my lease is up. The elevator never works, washer and dryers always going out, and the building has a bad roach problem. Not once since I lived here have I seen an exterminator come out. You pay a water bill for water you can’t drink and my ceiling was leaking bad. Maintenance is a joke and the neighbors around like to steal packages. Do not move here!
DO NOT LIVE HERE!! I live in the highrise building and let me tell you it is awful. It smells, there are gunshots, the laundry room has been out of order for 3 months. The management is poor. THERE WAS A BAT IN MY ROOM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!!!!! Management told me they would give me a call when it was handled but I never received one. This is just awful. I regret moving here and unfortunately they don’t even tell you the water is bad until youre in the middle signing your lease. Worse decision I’ve ever made
This experience has been 1 of the worst! I had to endure bed bugs dirty hallways and elevators not working! The final straw was dealing with management being unprofessional ??be warned before renting! The main management or owners are difficult to reach and their is no real governing of the complexes or security for safety.
We moved into the 5 story buildings. We really love how big these apartments are, my king size bed and dresser set fit easily in my room. The neighbors are nice. Maintenance comes to the apartment as soon as you call them. They sweep and mop the hallways everyday. Management seems like they actually care. I love the feeling of comfort and safety we feel here. University Park is a great area to raise a family
They dont fix anything. Alicia will give you the runaround with fixing major repairs. They owner of the building does seem to look at reviews he probably just collects his or her check and moves on. They have bugs, bed bugs, roaches gnats and mice. Water has lead in it so you cant use that either. Appliances barely work. DONT MOVE HERE UNLESS YOU ARE DESPERATE.
Just moved here and already can’t wait to move out. All of the appliances are extremely outdated, and for what they’re charging for rent they should be able to replace them. The apartment has poor patch up work done on the walls so don’t lean too hard on the wall or you just very well might fall in it. I’ve had various issues so far and it takes maintenance forever and a day to come and fix the issue. Please reconsider if this place is in your lineup, you will thank me later.
I have been in my apartment for a year and a month and I love it best place I been to when every I have a problem or something need to be fixed soon as I call management they coming to fix the problem right away it’s quite never had an issue with other applicants in the building and the area is nice this is a good place to move especially if you would like to be around a peace and quite environment for you and your family I recommend this apartment to anyone also they are very helpful when you need it
I Have been living here maple Leaf for the last 9 years maple leaf apartment is the best place to be for you and your family. Great environment and clean and health place for kids. great staff they help you through whatever you need, 24 hours maintenance on call whenever you need anything done. good and nice neighborhood for your family I really recommend this apartment.
I've been living here for a year now and i must say its a great apartment. I've had my ups and downs as you would at any apartment complex, but overall its a pretty nice place to stay. The staff here is amazing they work hard at getting things done. quickly. The apartment is very spacious and has plenty of closets.I also love the school district. Its a great starter apartment for a young couple orp even an retiree. I always recommend maple leaf to people. Its an overall great apartment and I will be renewing my lease.
I moved to maple leaf December of 2017, and have no complaints once so ever the place is huge nice living room and dining room area that is very spacious. Bedrooms are a great size. I have no complaints as far as neighborhoods nor the neighborhood i live on the first floor and is so comfortable and adjusted to the area I feel comfortable sleeping with my window open! The staff is very respectful and helpful with any issues Maintenece is always on call to help with anything that may go wrong in your place which is very rare. The building are always clean and smells fresh I have my share of apartment living and mapleleaf is the best I’ve came across
Maple Leaf is a great place to call home!!! The staff is very friendly, willing to work with you, they actually listen to any problems you might have! Apartments are very clean and is a very quiet place. So far I love this place, no complaints from me...
Lot of hmmms were left here ????... For instance the small print of new tentant paying $50 out of their own pocket for the village to inspect and pass their new unit? ?? Why would the charge be on the resident and not the property owners? Why would the unit not have been deemed habitable prior to a new tenant moving in? Also the kitchen area and appliances are very DATED ?? ... Just too many ??'s for it to be a yes from me ?????... I also felt very rushed during the tour and some questions I asked were met with "I don't know why" ?? ?? on to the next... ??
Maple Leaf apartments is a phenomenal starter home. They are very professional and are very tidy when it comes to renovations on your apartment. I will definitely recommend them to anyone moving to the south suburbs.
Me and my husband have lived here for almost a year with our 3 kids and couldn't ask for a better place to start out in. We have a beautiful 2 bed 2 1/2 bath very spacious living area as well as dining and kitchen area. We love our home!! not only do we have very nice neighbors but the staff is awsome and if there is any situation they are quick to take care of and handle it asap for u.. if you are debating on choosing a apartment maple leaf is a great family living environment.. we couldn't be happier with our decision..
I have been living at Maple Leaf apartments for 3 years now, my experience here has been wonderful. Amazing patio space a nice view. Friendly neighbors. Very spacious! I love that I have my own private master bathroom and my girls have enough space as well! It feels like home!
I lived here for 9 plus years with my parents until they recently moved into their home. So when I was in search of my own place I came back to what I know. Maple Leaf is a great place to live. The apartments are spacious and the atmosphere is amazing. No one bothers you and the other residents and management are friendly. I grew up in these apartments and am back again and never had any problems. The rent is affordable as well which is a plus. I would recommend Maple Leaf to anyone that’s apartment searching.
I recently downsized from a 4 bedroom house to an apartment. I thought the move would be difficult, but the transition was wonderful. The apartment is huge, almost as big as my house was and the closet space is tremendous. The kids love it too and they didn't even have to change school's. I love the management here. They were very helpful with getting me into the apartment and making sure my needs were met. I am very grateful and appreciative to the staff here for making my first apartment a fantastic experience. Also they have the lowest rent around this area and frequently have move in specials. I would definitely recommended maple leaf apartments to a friend(I already have)!
They are very attentive to their tenants they're clean and very nice I love living here .. Nicole McDaniel
This place is absolutely HORRIBLE. There are roaches , janky plumbing and construction, the elevator breaks almost every week. When you need something fixed they are no where to be found . The laundry area is ALWAYS broken and it’s very small so you have to spend almost 20$ for two loads of clothes. There are holes in the wall where the roaches seep from other apartments. They taped up a vent and painted over it to make it seem new. No matter how much you clean it’s always NASTY. This place is AWFUL. Do not move here.
I have been at Maple Leaf apts. for almost 4 years and this by far is the best apartment complex in the area. The apartments are spacious and modern. Their is ample parking available. Their is a laundry unit on each floor so no need to travel to the laundry every time washing has to done. The grounds are kept clean on a daily basis. The staff is friendly and courteous and helpful in every way. Security monitors are on every floor. Best of all leasing rates are the best in the area. This is a place you want to check out first on your list. Thanks to Maple leaf apartments I am a happy resident. Shawn W.
I am a resident of maple leaf apartments, I have been there for approximately 6 months and I love my apartment. The rooms are huge and very comfortable the location is great. The school district is great as well. I would like to speak on behalf of the staff they are very professional. the management office is very kind and caring. I recommend that anyone would come to be a resident at maple leaf apartments.
I Have Been Living Here For Only 2 Weeks And Some one Came Into My Apartment And Stole My Flat Screen TVs And I Believe It Was A Inside Job Bc Nothing Made Sense And They Don’t Care And They Not Gone Do Anything About It & They Also Lied About A lot Of Things And They Don’t Fix The Apartments Up Or Care To Update Them. All They Want Is Money. They Only Get 1 Star Because Of The Square Footage Which Is Big And If U Live In A Garden Unit U Have To Pay Everything, Might As Well Get A House For That.
I have been here for two months now an i must say I do like it. It is very quiet an peaceful. You all have a great office team. I have recommended the apartments to family an friends.
Its a very nice spacious apartment. However, the building I am in has roaches and no updates done at all. This area is the projects of the suburbs. There is hard water here as well. Heat doesnt work but of course they will probably keep it on 72. As soon as my least is up I am leaving.
Maple Leaf has been a great experience thus far! The layout of the apartments are incredibly huge!! Parking lot is routinely checked by the local police department, so no worries about property. A plus is they're right down the street if anything. The staff is pleasantly helpful, I love Alicia! So far I'm very pleased with Maple Leaf Apartments!!
I live in the Garden Apartments @ Maple Leaf. My unit is very spacious and the rent is very reasonable. I have central air and gas heat and appliances-which I love. My building is very quiet. The area is quiet. I love the Village. There is a lot of greenery around and I have a great view. This is a diverse community. The management and maintenance staff are friendly and they are working hard to improve where they can.
I was actually surprised at how nice the apartments are! The size and layout are great and if any problems pop up, maintenance will come to fix it in a reasonable amount of time. They also keep the grounds and parking lot pretty clean. The cost is pretty reasonable, as long as you pay on time. Overall I was pleasantly surprised with Maple Leaf, from the staff to the apartments themselves, way to step it up!
Maple Leaf apartments is a great place to live ,the leasing staff is very accommodating to Residence concerns and very nice .It is very clean and safe, I love how the maintenance team keeps the place clean .Overall the environment is a Kid friendly and family suitable ,peacful environment.
I have been leasing with Maple Leaf since April 2014 and they have always been helpful. My husband and I have referred a few friends and family to them and they loved it as well. The area is quiet and the units are nice and spacious.
I've been living at maple Leaf since last year and it has been a wonderful experience thus far. Everything gets well taken care of in a timely manner by staff. Have no complaints...
Very spacious bedrooms. Very quiet on my floor. Have been seeing improvements inside and outside of apartment building. Maintenance crew comes at a timely fashion to complete work orders. Club House opening will be a good asset to apartment complex. Friendly staff.
I have lived here for over 10 years. Spacious apartments, nice amenities, friendly staff, and excellent service when a work order is needed to be completed!
I am a current tenant at maple leaf apartments. The apartment is located in a nice community and atmosphere. The room sizes and parking are both good. The staff here are amazing and really work to meet the needs of the residents. I appreciate them more than they know.
My Fiancée and me have been living here since October of last year and it has been the best decision we have ever made!! Maple Leaf staff handles all request in a timely manner, if anything is needed to be done. The area is pretty much quite for the most part and everyone is respectable. I would highly recommend Maple Leaf as a top choice!!
I've been a resident for about 3 years here and the service has been great. Starr is and always has been very helpful! I have no complaints and I'm also very pleased with the changes that are happening to make Maple Leaf an even better place to live.
I have been living here at Maple Leaf for almost one month now and am ready to move out already. It is the midst of summer and I have requested my air conditioner that is not working properly to be fixed ever since a week after moving in and they keep lying to me that they are sending someone over to fix and have yet to do so. I have health problems as well as my child and living without air is not ok for our conditions! They also failed to fix my leaking faucet in my utility room. I am so, so very unpleased with their management and DO NOT ANTICIPATE renewing my lease here. I would never recommend these apartments to anyone. I feel as though I am living in the projects. I do not appreciate when management does not care about their tenants or retaining their business.
Maple Leaf Apartments are the best. The apartments are very big than usual I live in a one bedroom and my apartment is beautiful and big.The people are very caring and understanding ,the closets are huge I love all my closets. Unlike other apartments in the area we have security day and night and on call.
I have lived here over 20 years. The complex was under Brittany Woods Apt LTD and Management just changed to Maple Leaf Apts. During the management under Brittany Woods it went from a great place to live to just Awful! I am beginning to see improvements under the new management but I am Leary. I want to stay but now I am worried about the kind of people they will allow to rent.
I love the community, not a lot of places here to shop. But the land n open space make up for that. The schools here are great. Taking longs walks here are good. I also love how clean it is too.
