Property Ratings at Maple Springs Apartment Homes
DO NOT I repeat DO NOT live here unless you enjoy having a miserable life filled with noisy neighbors, dirty breezeway or ceilings that sound a construction company is stationed above you. Utterly awful experience. We are moving out in a few weeks and it’s the best decision we’ll ever make. Not worth the price
Property management all the way to the top is incompetent. You hear EVERYTHING, especially between upstairs and downstairs. Everything is just so gross. Moist, dark, closed in ceilings. The property is unkempt. You seriassly have to pay for someone to collect your trash with explicit rules to follow. Traumatic living experience due to inconsiderate neighbors and ineffective, deceitful, unprofessional office staff. I am proof you can find a MUCH nicer place if you just look a little harder. Quality of life is everything.
Good place to live! Great maitnance and office staff. (Superb maintenance) Safe and quite property; good location . Downside, too may operational fees.
Awesome place to live we have been here 4 years in december it's just so great here you would love it here
The office and maintenance staff are committed to taking care of the property. If BH management continues to support their employees I think the residents will continue to see the benefits.
I've been living at Maple Springs for more than 2yrs and really enjoyed it. Good value for money option. Well kept appartment, great maintenance team, green and quiet environment, easy access to stores etc. And all of the new management team--especially Sidney with whom I had most interaction--were always accessible, very friendly and helpful, and made me feel 'at home'. In one line: I wouldn't leave, but I have to relocate. And one friendly suggestion, coming from a dog dad: some wood/vinyl floor apartments and a somewhat larger dog park!
Good parking
Great place to live.
Great Apartments & Community To Live In.
Friendly, quiet quaint neighborhood. Friendly easy to work with staff. Awesome maintenance crew!! Apartments are old in rough condition and not energy efficient at all.
Excellent Community & Very Quiet...
We love it here the atmosphere is great the office personel is great & maintenance people are very prompt they are very quick to help with issue's
I have referred friends i love my studio it is so cozy and feels like home . Staff is attentive and so willing to work with their residents through all kinds of issues. Maintenance is great and knowledgeable as well.
Wonderful and safe community!
Very nice apartments, clean and safe grounds, helpful and friendly leasing/office staff, and a convenient place to live, near food, shopping and entertainment.
I've been living at Maple Springs for about four years. I left at one point and rented a townhome then came back. I absolutely love it. It's not about the size of the space for me, it's really about feeling safe. The community is diverse and always clean, the residents are friendly, and maintenance is prompt. I'll probably live here until I buy my own home.
I absolutely LOVE being a resident of Maple Springs! From the day of my first visit, I have been welcomed by the Maple Springs Team as "family"! The Maple Springs Executive and Administrative group is THE BEST, and they continue to make my experience the most enjoyable!
Maple springs is a very very great place to live everything is great here we love it here
Sure the manager and Assistant leadings NV manager is good but right the things they suppose to fix havent fixed yet even though I have complained since I moved-In March 15,2020
Absolutely the worst place to live. From the office staff, the grounds, the cracking stairs, homeless people living on the grounds near the dumpsters. Drug activity. Nightmare! Thank goodness the police regularly patrol the apartments and there is a police station near by. I do not recommend these apartment at all.
I recently moved out after living there for 2 years. The apartment complex itself is fine, but I had a pretty unfortunate ending to my experience here. My biggest complaint is that the maintenance staff protocol is extremely inappropriate. If you submit a request for, in my example, a toilet that leaks, that then gives the maintenance staff permission to enter your apartment at ANY time without your permission. That means if you are in the shower, asleep, etc. and don't hear a knock, you will come find a random stranger in your apartment. In my case, I went out for a run, and didn't lock my door as I was not going to be gone long, and come back to being locked out of my apartment. I left several messages on their "24/7 emergency maintenance line", which doesn't actually connect you to a person, and received no call back until immediately after in a desperate attempt I mentioned that I would consider this breaking and entering. I was going to mention this to a staff member when they called, but he did not apologize and when I was going to say something he said "okay, thanks, bye" and hung up before I had a chance to even say anything more. Very rude and immature.
I've lived in three different floorplan apartments in Maple Springs in a 6 year period and I had no issues. The neighbors are very respectful & the entire community is quiet. I loved it there! I honestly didn't want to move but it is time to save & buy a home. The 1br apts are perfect if you're living alone our as a couple. The sky light room is awesome & the washer/dryer are full size. The decorative fireplace is nice also. The pool & fitness center is that of a resort. They also have a dog park & other outdoor grill & picnic areas. The office staff are very nice & professional. The maintenance are on-time. Any requests I've made were handled that day. The convenience of grocery stores, shopping malls & restaurants are perfect. If you're looking for an awesome apartment in the west end, Maple Springs is the place to be.
The new management is terrible. Poor customer service if you even want to call it that. New staff is rude and extremely unhelpful. What used to be a good community is going downhill. Would not recommend this place to anyone!
If it was to rate only for the apartment I would give 5 star. But the management has changed from the time we initially moved-in. The new management neither cares about anything nor would get back to the issue that we bring up. Every time we call, all we get to hear is the person responsible is not available and we are less of staff here.
Since the new management has taken over, things have quickly gone down hill. The grounds are not well kept anymore and looks very trashy especially the back entrance with the abundance of old furniture left from people moving out. The property manager is not nice and at times mean to the residents by yelling at them, calling them liars or worse. The maintenance staff is great, but their hands are tied because of the mismanagement that is happening. At one time, heat, ac, and water were considered emergencies, but that is no longer the case. The staff in the office don't ever answer the phone and when you leave a message or email them, they don't respond. This used to be a wonderful community with parties, monthly newsletters, and other things that let the residents know that the staff appreciated us (after all, without US they'd have no jobs!), but sadly that is no longer the case. The new staff still has not even bothered to introduce themselves to us and they took over 3 months ago! Now, they just rudely accept our rent and send us nasty letters about things they are taking away from us that we were told were part of the amenities of the property. It is very sad to see such a nice place go down hill so quick.
In my opinion this is the best value in the immediate area. Location is good, community is quiet, and the property is clean and well maintained. The office staff is competent, responsive, friendly and helpful. My apartment was clean and freshly painted with new appliances and relatively new kitchen cabinets. Five stars.
My boyfriend and I moved here from New Jersey recently and absolutely love it. The community is very clean and quiet, the neighbors are friendly and overall a great place to come and unwind. The amenities are great and the apartments extremely similar to the pictures. The club house and gym is very clean. However, the pool isn't open yet. The community is well cared for and very pet friendly. Our leasing agent, Nitza, was quite friendly and straight forward about the complex. She didn't try to over hype anything and made sure all of our questions were answered. She made sure the move was as smooth and painless as possible. Overall we are very satisfied with moving here.
I gave the rating of 1 as that is the lowest I can give. This complex was at one time a 4-5 star place, but the new management has ruined that. The new property manager is hateful and hates the residents here. She has yelled at many of us, called us liars and thieves, plus she has had many of the amenities in which we pay for removed. Just recently the water cooler was removed from the gym. The coffee machine is not working nor do we have working TVs in the gym and clubhouse. This woman is dragging the complex down. We used to be a friendly neighborhood with gatherings, but that is no longer. The property manager only comes out from behind her closed door to yell at residents. Prior to her taking over, many residents would congregate in OUR clubhouse, but that is no longer as we are not welcomed in there. When one enters the clubhouse you are not greeted. The atmosphere is cold and unwelcoming. It is very sad to see this complex to go down so quickly, as this hateful woman has only been in charge for 2 months. In that short time, we are now only at half capacity. It is almost daily that a resident is moving out or putting in their notice, and no new ones are moving in. A lot of the residents that are moving have been here from 5-12 years. The maintenance staff is the same from the previous management team, and they still have the wonderful positive attitude we are use to, however they can only do what they are told to do. Parts are not being ordered in a timely fashion anymore as the maintenance director is no longer in charge of it. It is being handled by the rude and hateful property manager. Things that once used to be considered an emergency call for maintenance is no longer. It is so sad to see this happening. We finally had our grass cut as the manager let it get really tall. I am not sure if she is just trying to save a dollar or what, but I do know she is running this beautiful complex into the ground.
I have been living here over a year. All of the previous reviews about excellent staff and service were once true. This is NO LONGER the case. A new management recently came in. Within a week or so all of the beloved staff and management were gone and replaced with very rude staff and management. You used to be able to drop by the office any time and be greeted by excellent management, complimentary coffee and be able to use the office for wifi as well as the gym and pool. Since the new management arrived the office is no longer friendly for residents. The staff make you feel incredibly unwelcome and like you are a burden just for using the gym or coming in to pick up a package. Maintenance staff has been cut by half and I am still unsure how this will impact how long it will take to have things fixed. I HIGHLY recommend not coming to this complex. You will be treated like a burden as soon as you become a resident.
less staff and grounds keepers. not as much security, packages lost, staff is slower and i am moving immediately when my lease is up. no longer picking up packages adding fees
I lived in a 2BR apartment and it was a nice apartment for my first place outside of college. It's not a bad area, the apartments themselves are nice, but VERY expensive for what you get. The apartments are not all renovated at the same time. We saw an apartment when we toured and when we moved in, were shocked to see that the appliances looked like they were at least 10 years older than the ones we had seen in the other apartment. The maintenance staff were nice, but they often put a band-aid over a problem rather than actually fixing it. Overall, I moved out due to wanting a place of my own. Their one bedrooms are nice, but are very overpriced for their size. I found a place about twice the size for the same price. After moving out I was told that we needed to pay for the carpet replacement. I still don't think that the carpet needed to be replaced, but rather washed. They then charged us $530 . If you have a pet. It's important to know that $250 or whatever you pay will NOT go towards anything. I am not sure what it went to at all. After moving out and giving them my forwarding address, I never received a paper copy of the bill. After trying to follow up to find out payment plans, they were very difficult to communicated with, and when they did answer, they often didn't answer my questions. It seems like once you move out, they really don't care about you. It has been a very disappointing move-out experience after a year of fairly positive experiences.
Property Manager at Maple Springs Apartment Homes, Responded To This Review
Hi Chris, We are happy to hear that your experience while living at our community was a positive one! Any resident that has moved in within the last two years does so to a renovated apartment. The apartments that we show to prospective new residents are representative of what one would receive/move into. Our maintenance team strives to address and complete any service requests the same day, or on rare occasion the following day. Every effort is made to complete the work correctly the first time to ensure your satisfaction. It is for this reason that our routine follow up is conducted and any further concerns addressed. We encourage residents that are moving out to schedule a walk-through inspection so there are no surprises. Any and all charges assessed are documented and photographed for verification. The fee that you pay when adding your furry loved one as an occupant contributes to the maintenance of the dog park, pet clean up stations and pet waste removal. The fee does not cover damage done by our four legged residents, as stated in your pet agreement. Once a resident moves out, a notice of any balance is sent to the forwarding address provided to us. If we do not receive a response, we follow up with a phone call and/or e-mail contact. We're sorry to hear of any delayed response in answering any questions or concerns as we are typically readily available and do our best to return any calls missed within the same day they are received. We do appreciate the prompt payments you have made to pay off your balance and wish you the best of luck in your new home!
Lived in a one bedroom one bath. Upon move-in the whole place needed cleaning as original job was sub-par, especially laundry area. Looked as if it had never been cleaned or dusted. Apartment was quiet but VERY small for price compared with other places within one 3-4 miles. Several great amenities on property so that is what you are paying for. Front office staff is WONDERFUL!! Overall I enjoyed my time there and moved for a lack of space.
A job forces me to move, but after one year, I wish I could take the apartment, management, maintenance with me! Friendly, safe, well maintained, and pet friendly! My only criticism is that the cabinet space in the 2 BR model kitchen is not adequate. You can make it work, but I wish it was a little more spacious that way! Cute layout, very very nice management!
This place is wonderful! The staff is awesome and is eager to help in any way they can. The maintenance staff is quick and polite. The over all complex is quiet and I feel quite safe there. It's a very nice place to live!
The best part about living in maple springs is the awesome leasing office staff. That's what sold us! they will do anything for you!
PEOPLE ARE GREAT NEIGHBORHOOD IS GOOD AND THE APARTMENTS LOOK GOOD
Myself and my fiance went in to check out the 2 bed room apartments non were available for show but the office staff was REMARKABLE!!!! We are looking to relocate to these apartments!! I fell in love as soon as I stepped into the office!
