Not enough parking for the units unless you pay for a covered spot and then they take up what little parking there is with a gigantic dumpster for several months. My fridge didn’t work when I moved in and it took 2 months to get a new one and when I got a new one, the old one was left in front of my door for several months. No communication between management and tenants. Most of the amenities aren’t accessible after business hours. There’s a gate, but it only works half the time. Water staining of the ceiling of my unit from The freeze that still hadn’t been fixed since I moved out in December. Now, 2 months after I’ve moved out apparently they don’t have it on record that our keys were ever turned in and now I’m being charged an extra 6 days rent and a late fee. Just go somewhere else.
Getting the management to do anything is like pulling teeth. Work orders to fix issues in the apartment are unfulfilled constantly, they spray for bugs every 2 months because of issues apparently with other units & they let anyone and everyone have pets so dogs are constantly pooping in the walkways and barking extremely loud and they do not clean the pool at all. Half the time the pool is closed because they don’t feel like cleaning it. Residents are constantly babied with management’s made up rules and periodic emails are sent out about how residents “have to live here” otherwise they are fined $100+. I’ve lived here for two years and moved in soon as the old management were bought out. I will not make this mistake again. Management, do better. New people looking for somewhere to rent, do not live here.
Where do I start? From lack of information coming from the front office, to horrible follow up of maintenance issues, being told that noise complaints are not the problem of the apartment complex management, to rent going from paying online to checks to BOTH AT THE SAME TIME, from one site to the other without any information really flowing to the residence... I have lived in apartments on and off for the last 20 years all over the country and I have NEVER lived in an apartment where I want to tell more people to STAY AWAY. There is SO MUCH MORE, I would add, but I am limited by the amount of characters I can post.... Especially considering the average rent prices at this apartment complex my honest advice, LOOK ELSEWHERE....

I wish there was a choice for zero stars. I've lived here for less than a year and it has only gone downhill, especially since it became "Marbella Bay". Most of the time the pool looks like something an alligator would climb out of. When it is in swimming condition, you can't really enjoy it because it's filled with everyone from the local neighborhood. People drive in with their whole family, go swimming, and then leave like it's the local public pool. The office does nothing about it. The dumpsters went for almost 2 weeks without being emptied. Even after it was emptied by the trash company, there is still garbage piled all around it. The smell from the dumpsters is awful and the flies and mice that they are attracting are a public health hazard. It is disgusting. Also, they still advertise on this site that they have "curbside" trash pick up. That is a lie. They stopped doing that at the beginning of July. You are supposed to take your trash to the dumpsters--which are usually overflowing because they haven't been emptied. The dog park is a joke. They put a fence up that goes over the doggy pool (which is disgusting anyway) and they never mow it. Anytime you talk to the people in the front office, all they do is smile and nod. Nothing ever gets done. Do yourself a favor and don't move here unless you want to live in a landfill.

This complex is under new management and we are very disappointed. First, the pool is overrun with people from all over Beaumont! They leave their trash behind, are verbally abusive toward residents, and damage the pool area. When management is confronted they say there is nothing that can be done. This means they cannot ensure a safe environment for the residents. Second, they have been having issues with the dumpsters being dumped regularly resulting in maggots, flies, and other critters. Third, they no longer have a maintenance person on sight. They have a new person that is working hard, but he is overwhelmed. Finally, this management is taking away many amenities we have enjoyed for years. Hopefully this new management will get their act together, but u til then, be very aware of what you are getting in to.

The people who work here are absolutely horrid. They are the least professional people I've ever had to deal with. They do not fix anything you ask them to. If you have a simple question, they will make it some type of argument. There are constant break-ins, which is probably due to the lack of surveillance cameras. They have a total of two surveillance cameras-one pointing to the office and one pointing to the pool. Not to mention, a girl was murdered here. The lack of respect to tenants and guests is completely unprofessional. The people in the office do not care about you or anyone else for that matter. They make it completely obvious that they do not want to help or even have a civil conversation. The gate is always broken so good luck even getting into your apartment. If you've read this far, it is probably in your best interest to find somewhere else to live. Even if that is at a motel somewhere.
Great apartments, community and location. Staff was wonderful and very helpful and friendly from day one. Neighbors were friendly and quite. Loved living there, but job relocated and hated to leave. Wonderful place, recommend it to anyone looking for a nice please to live. :)
Apartment Seekers, I have lived here, a little over 3 months and I love the area and the whole apartment set up. The main issue, with this complex is the parking. If I am not home by 8:00 pm everyday, I do not have any parking space, they built too many apartments with no parking space and visitors take up most of the parking. There should be tags for residents that actually live here, like every other complex. There should Be stricter rules for residents to have places to park. I also have a problem with maintenance I put in a request and still have not yet received any type of services for the type of problem I am having. All maintenance issues should be the number one priority, especially when dealing with heating/cooling. Other than these two issues, nowhere is perfect, but this complex would be a better place. If people where on top of these types of issues.
I love my apartment! I have to have stainless steel appliances and wood floors and they definitely met my needs! They have trash pick up which is such a relief in the morning. The staff are two genuine ladies who will bend over backward for any resident! I love it here and do not want to leave! Two years strong and plan to stay!
Beautiful apartments. I loved my living space. HOWEVER THE ENTIRE OFFICE IS FILLED WITH LIARS!!!!!!!!!!! They never respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner, you can never speak with anyone above the Houston office and when you do nothing is done about your inquiry, they have hired a towing company that tows their tenants' vehicles away for practically ANY reason. To this date (08-10-2015), they still have not yet replaced bulbs in the security lights that I requested back in 2013. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!
I LOVE MY APARTMENT! FIRST OF ALL, I WANNA SAY I'M PICKY. VERY, PICKY. I WENT TO 5 OTHER COMPLEXES THREE YEARS AGO BEFORE MOVING TO MY FOREVER APARTMENT. MOST APARTMENTS WAS CHARGING FOR PET RENT, OVER $20 PER FLOOR TO MOVE TO THE BOTTOM. SOME EVEN WAS HIGHER WITH STANDARD BLACK OR WHITE APPLIANCES. WHEN I NOTICED I HAD FULL OPEN CONCEPT FLOOR PLAN WITH A FOYER. MIND... BLOWN! THEN THERE WAS A WINE RACK IN THE GALLEY KITCHEN WITH STAINLESS STEEL APPLIANCES! FRENCH DOOR REFRIGERATOR WITH ICE MAKER, NOT TO MENTION A FULL SIZE PANTRY AND AMPLE CABINET SPACE. I KNEW I WAS LOOKING FOR AN APARTMENT, BUT I DIDN'T THINK I WAS GOING TO GET ALL THE COMFORTS OF A HOME. NOW THAT HAS A STUDY AREA WITH PLENTY HOOK UPS FOR A CABLE MODEM, HOME PHONE, AND TO SET UP A HOME COMPUTER AND PRINTER WITH SIDE STORAGE AND CABINETS. SO I CONTINUED WALKING AND FOUND I HAD A FULL LAUNDRY FULL WITH HOOK UPS, MY FULL SIZE GAS HOT WATER HEATER AND MY ELECTRICAL PANEL. NOW THIS WAS AN A FOR ME BECAUSE YOU CAN'T COVER NOT PAINT ON THE ELECTRICAL PANEL DUE TO CODE. THEN I CONTINUE MY TOUR AND FOUND TWO FAIRLY LARGE BEDROOMS THAT CAN FIT A KING SIZE BED WITH OTHER BEDROOM SUITE ITEMS (YES I HAVE A KING IN BOTH ROOMS). THEN THEN MASTER HAS A LARGE THREE TIER CLOSET ORGANIZER AND A BEAUTIFUL ON SUITE BATH WITH A SOAKER TUB/SHOWER COMBINATION. THE SECOND BATH IS A STANDARD 4 PIECE BATH WITH A TUB/SHOWER COMBINATION. THERE'S HARDWOOD AND CROWN MOLDING THROUGHOUT THE MAIN AREAS, LAUNDRY, AND BATHROOMS WITH CARPET IN THE HALLWAY AND SLEEPING AREAS. AS AN ADDED CODE FEATURE, THE APARTMENT IS READILY EQUIPPED WITH FIRE SPRINKLERS TO ENSURE CONTAINMENT OF A FIRE EMERGENCY. MY APARTMENT IS HOME TO ME. NOT ONLY I HAVE A BEAUTIFUL HOME, THE STAFFING AND MAINTENANCE HERE IS SECOND TO NONE. ANYTHING THAT'S BROKEN IS FIXED IN A TIMELY MANNER. PLUS THEY STRIVE TO KNOW YOUR NAME, WHERE YOU LIVE IN THE COMPLEX, AND TRY TO MAKE SURE THAT ANY COMPLAINTS ARE SETTLED IMMEDIATELY. VALET TRASH PICK UP THREE TIMES A WEEK AND GORGEOUS POOL, GAMEROOM, AND 24 HOUR FITNESS ARE AVAILABLE ALONG WITH AN OPTION TO USE THE OUTDOOR FIRE PIT, GRILLS, AND THE BUSINESS/CONFERENCE ROOM. THERE'S A COURTESY OFFICER AFTER HOURS THAT WILL PATROL. IM NOT PLANNING ON MOVING. I CAN'T SEE MYSELF LIVING ANYWHERE ELSE. TRANQUILITY OF MIND, FRIENDLY NEIGHBORS, AND SECURITY WITH THIS BEAUTIFULLY MANICURED GATED COMPLEX.
Love the location and the many amenities. Resort style pool, game room and coffee, 24 hour gym, and very dog friendly.
Went to see apartments , the staff seem very friendly, the grounds were very clean, the model apartment was just what I wanted,love the appliances,has good closet space,which is a must for me.
I have lived here for a year and the beginning of the summer the pool is crystal blue and looks amazing now its the end of the summer and the pool looks like a pond. Its green and cloudy. I was suppose to have some friends over to hang out and we were going to go by the pool but NO WAY . Its embarrasing to even let anyone see how disguesting the pool is.. It should have frogs and fish in it.. I wish someone knew how to take care of a pool.
