Property Ratings at Marbella-Income Restricted Waitlist
I was a tenant with Marbella for a year. During my stay at these apartments we had 5 different managers and two different management companies. During my first month living there my apartment flooded due to a fault ac/heater unit. Emergency maintenance never showed up to stop the flood which caused extensive damages not only to my personal belongings but also the property. After over 3 hours the fire dept. was approved to come and help me. Sadly this wasn't the only time my apartment flooded. A few months after the tenant upstairs had issues with their water heater that caused water to leak into my apartment as well. I was assured by the previous management company was well as stevie with monarch I would not be responsible for the damages to the floors yet I was. I also had many issues with crime. My car had been vandalized on several occasions as well as almost being stolen. My children were attacked by a neighbors dog, which had also attacked residents, and was assured the situation would be taken care of. Instead the dog was allowed to stay and the owners retaliated by busting out my car windows when animal control got involved. The gate never worked properly and we had people coming in off the streets constantly. Nothing was ever done about this either. AT a point I felt it was unsafe to even let my children play outside. Not the mention the residents who also would leave their children unattended even at night roaming around the complex. There is also and infestation of roaches. A neighbor of mine was living out of bags because of the condition of her building. Would not recommend these apartments. Prior to this I had rented from another property for over 3 years with no issues, I was only looking something bigger with a space for my children to play and in the end had the worst experience Ive ever had with a rental property.
