Jacksonville is gigantic. At nearly 900 square miles, it is by far the largest city in the contiguous United States, in terms of geographical area. The landscape is so vast and varied that you are almost certain to find any kind of environment that suits you. From the high-rise buildings downtown to the marina condos along the river to the suburban neighborhoods farther from the urban core, your apartment rental options in Jacksonville are nearly endless.
Jacksonville is never short on leisure activities. The dining and entertainment offerings are top notch, from the bustling nightlife in downtown to the upscale shopping at Saint Johns Town Center and everything in between. Football fans will feel right at home in Jacksonville as NFL Jaguars games tend to draw big crowds no matter how the team is doing. The Jags’ home field has also served as neutral turf for the annual University of Florida-University of Georgia rivalry game each Halloween weekend for decades.

Property Ratings at Marco Meadows
On my schedule tour it was a rainy day the leasing office did call me to assure me that because of the rain I wouldn't be able to see the apartment she set me up with another day it was raining that day as well but she made sure I was able to see the model and reassured me that all the apartments look almost the same with the different amenities. On my move-in day when I was able to get my keys and move into my unit it was nice clean everything that I was told would be there was there it's nice it's quiet I've only been here a month but I'm enjoying it.
We've lived here for 2.5 years now and have had nothing but issue after issue. The complex has been sold 3 times since we've moved in, the constant change of management means nobody is ever equipped to deal with anything that happens here. The office staff have consistently been rude(when actually reachable), the policies regarding tenant etiquette (noise, vehicle maintenance, car stereos) are only applicable to the few of us that have jobs and legal income, rent for the same 900sq feet we've been in went up over 20 percent the last time ownership changed, the units are plagued with maintenance issues (despite the "Newly Remodeled" label they make to let know of). We can tolerate quite a lot when it comes to neighbors and noise, and honestly these are apartments so we expect to have noise, but the issue that is so unbearable which prompted me to write this review in the first place deals with the car subwoofers being blasted in the parking lot all hours of the day and night. I don't mean somebody coming home from work with the music a little loud, parking, then cutting the car off and going home, or even finishing the song and going in. I'm talking about the residents (which appear to not have anything resembling employment whatsoever) who will sit in their vehicle outside for HOURS, stereo up and subs slapping. It's so often you'd wonder why they even pay rent because that basically live in their car. These tenants have absolutely no regard for anybody else, a problem which is compounded by the office refusing to enforce any of the clauses from the lease every person here had to sign. The windows are single pane relics from when this place was originally built (1970s judging by the all aluminum wiring) and none of the windows or doors seal properly. As a result every conversation, car, speedbump, song, sneeze, bark etc. from outside waltzes right on into your apartment like you've got front row seats. I cannot even sit on the toilet without being assaulted by some obnoxious bassline. There's a lot more, but hopefully that's enough to dissuade and decent person who was considering this heIlhole.
Do not rent from here. Neglect of property of tenants. Outside lights have been broken for months, trash is everywhere, Landry room is disgusting. This is not a clean and safe environment.
The new management company doesn’t know what they are doing. Absolutely horrible to deal with. Old management was great.

Says they have 24 hour maintenance. When my electric went out (not for lack of paying the bill) on a night where the temps were in the 30s, I was told I would have to wait until daytime because it was 'too dangerous' for them to come out at night. This happened twice.

We apologize that we were unable to complete your service request after hours. Based on our company policy, we are unable to work on electrical issues if there is not any natural light as this could cause a potential safety hazard to our team members and occupants in the home. We strive to provide excellent service and would like to invite you to the leasing office to discuss this matter further. Please contact us at (904) 552-3678 when you have the time. Thank you.
I am a current resident and have resided here for 4 months. The staff is always knowledgeable, pleasant, and accommodating. The facilities are well run and the amenities are very nice.

Lived here a while, nice apartments and they’re getting nicer with the new changes. When I have maintenance problems, they’re resolved quickly and properly. Staff is really nice when seeing them on the daily. Highly recommended

I went in for a tour with my family A weeks ago and we were surprised to see how renovated the apartment was. Also how well the grounds were kept. We saw a few near by apartment complexes over the last few weeks most at a higher cost, but midtown oaks was the one we chose for the price I could not find a comparable apartment! We are excited to move in!

I just moved here recently and don’t be fooled by the exterior, the apartment I moved into was newly renovated and is very nice in the inside. The leasing agent Justin was extremely helpful, he answered all my questions and made my moving experience stress free. I highly recommend this apartment for any one interested in the Jacksonville area.

These people told us we were approved for an apartment on March 16, they sent us our welcome letter and all. Two days ago (two weeks before we move in) I received a call from them saying that the lady who approved my apartment messed something up and they’re not going to be able to move me in. I think this is so unprofessional of you guys and I’m disgusted. I will never do business with you guys again. They were not even sympathetic to the situation they put me in. I would’ve respected if they told me this news a month ago so I would have enough time, I’ve already made arrangements FOR NOTHING. I will make sure of it all parties involved will pay.
