Property Ratings at Marianne Manor Apartments
I love living at Marianne Manor it has been my home for the past 19 years. The staff is friendly and professional, the office is always available to help with any needs I have and they always decorate so cute for the holidays they really care and it shows.
They always go above and beyond, service requests are completed within a timely manner. We have lived here for many years and have always felt pampered by the care of the staff at Marianne Manor. Marge, Others may work for a salary, but you take PRIDE in your job. Well Done!!
I have lived at Marianne Manor for 3 years, the Apartments are spacious with many closets. The Manager Marge cares about her residents and her staff and it shows in the care they put into the Property, from shoveling snow to planting flowers it really is a great place to live.

We have lived here for two plus years, the experience has been nothing short than great!! My daughter and I originally moved here because of the school district, never imagined I would not foresee myself leaving even when she graduates and I am an empty nester. The staff has been amazing, always prompt when needed! Marge the office manager and I even saved a turtle! Super cool place to live!! Forever grateful to be able to call this place home!!

I have lived at Marianne Manor since 2017. One of my favorite things about this place aside from my spacious apartment is the office staff. Marge and Kaitlyn are very friendly and professional. I enjoy making my daily stops at the office to catch up and talk about my grandkids. I always see Hanna and Johannah on the grounds working hard to maintain the beauty of this community. Anyone looking for a spacious home with staff that cares should come here!

Where do I start?! First month living here I had a major leak and they had to take my carpet up in my living room. There soooo many bugs! I now understand why they offer someone to come spray for bugs EVERY Friday. They know there is a bug issue. Second it was a leak coming from my hallway ceiling! Took them 4 days to fix, coming in and out of my apartment! Next my vehicle was stolen from the property. It’s not safe nor secure if you have a nice vehicle! The walls are so thin you will hear everything your neighbors are doing! Currently, I am unable to use my water! This is DAY TWO of having no clean water!!! There attitude is not even empathetic, it’s just like oh well. This is a terrible place! They have the nerve to go up $50 dollars each year you are here!! Not worth the price, not worth the headache!! Unless you like bugs, not having water and having your car stolen!!! STAY AWAY!!!
All staff is so nice every time I have a maintenance request they are on top of it! The last time I lock my bath door and call them they show up less than 5 minutes and unlock my door. I love this apartment so much
I have been saving for years for a house... then i discovered Marianne Manor! Now I’m comfortable with renting forever! I’m never leaving !

We just moved into Marianne Manor 2 weeks ago and it has been overall amazing. We are on the third floor and have not had any complaints. Everyone in the building are very friendly. If something is wrong or something needs to be fixed, the staff in the office will put in a work order and it will get completed the same day or the next. These apartments are located by everything that you could possibly think of. For being our first apartment, the price is just perfect, everything is in our price range. The two bedroom apartments are very spacious including the master bedroom. Master bedroom has a vanity which every woman dreams of having. There is a big walk in closet along with another closet. Spare bedroom is very spacious with two closets. You do not have to worry about closet space because there are so many. There is also laundry on the main floor which is very convenient for everyone. I feel very safe being in the building as the bottom door is always locked to get it. I am very glad we went with Marianne Manor. I do not think any other complex would beat them. I would highly recommend them.

Thank you for the wonderful review. We always strive to provide the best customer service to our residents and we greatly value your input.
I'm a frequent visitor and I'm glad that's all that I am! The person that I visit lives on the second floor and it's a shame how I can hear the children upstairs on the third floor running and jumping as if they are going to fall through the ceiling! I hate that she has to deal with the disrespect of the noise. I was shown a letter that was given out in regards to noise complaints and it's obvious that everyone doesn't have to abide by the rules. It's clear that complaining is a waste of time. Everyone should be able to live comfortably and not just the tenants that reside on the third floor.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback on the community. I too live on the second floor and occasionally hear children running, playing and jumping. Unfortunately this is a part of apartment living. Regards to the letter, everyone does have the same rules and the letter explains our noise complaint procedure. Additionally, we take noise complaints very seriously; if you are ever experiencing any disturbances in regards to excessive noise please alert our office so we can work to improve your situation. Please ask your friend to contact the leasing office at 734-675-9660 so we may help to resolve this issue.
Been here for a year. It's a nice place, if a bit dated. As it warms up though I'm concerned for a couple things. One, kids play in the parking lot with no parents around. I saw them playing hide and seek in the car ports as well as running around the entire lot. Now this is dangerous. They could be hurt by cars coming and going also they could damage someone's property. I saw them near mine and was getting nervous because they were touching the mirrors. Parents also block the road when the school bus comes through near the office which is also dangerous for other vehicles. Overall if these were resolved I would give this place a 4 out of 5

Thank you for your review and we appreciate you taking the time to express your concerns regarding the bus stop and carports. We understand the frustration when the bus is stopped, but our biggest concern is with other drivers trying to get around the bus then the parents picking up their children. At no time is the road blocked—unless the bus is stopped with its caution lights on and at that point we hope everyone is stopped to let the children off the bus. The carports are also a concern for us, we have sent out letters, and ask that playing and hanging out in the carports is not allowed, the staff also is aware when they see this happening to notify the office so that we can contact the unit and let them know that this is not allowed. With the weather getting nicer we will send out a reminder letter regarding the carports—but please don’t hesitate to give us a call if you have any problems. 734-675-9660
I recently visited my mom for a couple of days and I did not get ANY SLEEP! for hours at a time! I could hear what this apartment complex consider everyday LIVING! which is kids jumping and running. The movements from upstairs had gotten so bad that my mom had to take her frames off of the wall, by the time I had gotten home I was a walking zombie , I feel bad for not only my mom but anyone who moves here and has a noisy neighbor because it seems like anything is allowed!

I've lived here for a year and there wasn't any problems until a few months ago. I live on the second floor and the new tenants are very loud, inconsiderate and disrespectful. I hear running, jumping, bouncing balls, my photos rattle, my lights flicker and my floor shakes! I literally only have peace whenever my neighbors aren't home. I hate to come home sometimes because I don't feel comfortable now! When I get home from work I want to relax but instead I have to wait until my neighbors decide for me. It's so unfortunate! I've made complaints and been told that proof is needed. I feel like I have to just deal with it. The apartment it self is nice!! I love that everything is accessible (freeway, grocery store, restaurants etc..)and my apartment is spacious!

We’ve been here almost a year and never had any problems until the last couple months. Being on the second floor the new tenets upstairs jump around and throw things all day causing our entire place to shake. Pictures fall off the wall, glasses rattle, and it’s extremely annoying. The office staff says to call but can’t prove anything. Maintenance is great they come out asap for whatever you need. The plow service in the winter is HORRIBLE. it’s a real struggle to make it to your car anytime is rains or snows as they leave a think layer of ice every time and it floods in the rain. Overall updates really need to be done to the buildings but they are taken care of.

The apartments are ok, they have a lot of storage and everything you'd expect in one. It can get really noisy, crying, slamming doors and stomping up and down the stairs. The 2nd and 3rd floors also shake, which is really disconcerting to say the least. You can also smell smoke or pot almost 24/7 inside your apartment. A school bus will drop kids off and parents will park directly in the intersection in front of the office, which clogs and blocks traffic, causing a very dangerous situation. There are so many scenarios where someone could get hurt. The cars parked directly in the way could suddenly move without checking for others, the ones going around the illegally parked cars could be distracted by them. There's also sidewalks where people are obviously trying to cross. Basically, the cars shouldn't be parked there in the middle of the road blocking the normal flow of traffic. It is NOT SAFE for anyone and the office needs to tell them that. If possible I will change my review to 4 stars if this problem is solved as this is my main complaint with the complex.

Thank you for taking time to write a review for us. We appreciate your kind words and welcome any criticisms you might have as we strive to make Marianne Manor the best place possible to call home. We are continually making improvements to make life here as convenient and enjoyable for everyone and addressing the parking issue at the bus stop is a priority. Unfortunately, the majority of the traffic comes from the condos who also pick up from the same bus stop. Most of our residents that live at Marianne Manor walk to the bus stop, however, I will be more than happy to discuss with the condo association and see if we can have their resident’s park in the parking lot or discuss any other viable solutions. Please feel free to call me directly at (734-675-9660) to discuss any concerns or suggestions in this matter. I am eager to speak with you. Margaret Geiger Property Manager
My fiance lived here. He hated it. I didn't live here full time but was over often. So I can only review on what I personally saw or heard. You can hear everything. We could always hear his neighbors water running every time he turned it on. It would be so loud we would have to turn up our TV just to hear it. It is on a major road across from a hospital so you will hear sirens. I am also pretty sure you cannot have your Car parked for an extended period of time. I had been put off work because I got hurt and had stayed over consecutively longer than I normally did. He panicked and ran to move my Car. I was confused. He then told me about how they made a big deal about the Cars being parked too long. It is close to a lot of restaurants and things to do. Everything closes pretty early though. Including most of the fast food places. He also felt like when he needed things or asked questions that he was a burden. As if it was a problem that he needed something or had a question to ask. I can only say what I had saw and heard. Whether that was him on the phone or my own personal experience within the complex. Loud. Okay neighborhood. No major complaints about staff just blah.

They don't listen if you tell them you work a night shift and try to work with you when there are problems and that is your schedule. Both times maintenance came into my apartment they have snooped around and talked about all my belongings, it was very creepy behavior. they didn't know I was there of course because they don't listen when you tell them you'll be there for the inspections because you work midnights. So I overheard there odd behavior before they knew I was there. they also never gave me paperwork to fill out about original damages in the apartment before I moved in. I asked for it several times and never got it. Everytime neighbors use water it makes horrible loud noises. I've complained several times. I can't wait to leave especially after hearing maintenance in my apartment.
I love my apartment here at Marianne Manor!! When I moved here I was leaving a bad relationship. I needed an apartment I felt safe in. I feel extremely safe here. The main doors are locked and the only way in is to be buzzed in. My apartment is very spacious for a one bedroom. I have lots of storage space. As a woman, the vanity in my bedroom is such a plus. Every woman deserves a makeup table in her life. Or for men, it could be a desk or a general area to keep toiletries. Many of my company has told me that I have more cupboard space than most of them. Which is a big plus for me as I love to cook. I also love having a dishwasher. My building is very quiet. I can very seldom ever even hear my neighbors above even walking, unlike my last apartment we could hear their conversations. The laundry facilities are nice to have. It’s not like some that are on a creepy basement. They even send staff to vacuum the hallways and mop the laundry room floor. The staff is extremely nice and always willing to help. The landscaping here is very well maintained! This is my second year and every spring they plant flowers and replace the mulch. The pool is also an added bonus to have during the summer. The best part is having a carport. Not having to clean snow off my car is a huge convenience! The location is great! Very close to I75. Within walking distance of Taco Bell, Kroger, Walgreens, CVS, Urgent Care, Coney Island, a gym and even across the street is a hospital...the list goes on. I am very happy here and would recommend to anyone that wants a clean, quiet, centralized place to live.
Marianne Manor is a great apartment for someone moving out for the first time. Between me and my roommate, the rent is affordable and noise isn't a problem. The best part is how spacious the units are compared to other complexes, it's good for hosting. We have a lower level apartment, which is great in the summer since we don't need to use our air conditioning, but in the winter it can get super cold unless you crank up the heat, resulting in a pretty pricey utility bill. My only real complaint is that there really isn't any ice removal of the parking lot. It gets plowed when it snows and the sidewalks are salted, but be prepared to basically slide your way out of the complex! Other than that, maintenance and office staff is great. Any problems I've had with my units were taken care of within a day or two. It's nothing fancy, but I'm glad I picked Marianne Manor as my first apartment.
I've lived here for a year and love it. The apartments are large with tons of storage. A bit dated and the cracks show through after a bit. Our floors were oddly uneven and dipped in spots under the carpet like pot holes but we got used to it. With a second floor apartment we were able to keep our heat off during the winter and it stayed comfortably warm. Management is wonderful, helpful, and understanding. Maintenance is amazing. Everything we ever called about got fixed the same day or the next. They replaced our dishwasher within a few days when it broke. Snow and ice removal is done well but the walkways and lot do flood with bad rain. Laundry room was always working, package delivery was never a problem. Pool was clean but can get crowded when the kids are out of school. Other apartments that are comparable in price are not this large, or nice. You get your money's worth here.
First off, the management here is stellar. Problems are fixed quickly and with minimal hassle The office hours are fairly convenient and they even offer online rent payment. This complex being convenient to both I-75 and Telegraph means it's easy to go basically anywhere. The apartment itself has a ton of storage with our 2 Bedroom having not only several closets but a walk-in pantry and two small rooms that they consider walk-in closets. The balcony is nice and the grounds are well kept. The only negatives are that everything is just a little dated, from the appliances to the windows to even the parking lot (which doesn't drain every well when it rains)you can tell that this complex was built 40-ish years ago.
