Property Ratings at The Tide
1. My husband and I both reached out to the office to view the property. He received a call back and appointment to schedule. My call was never returned. 2. Day of the appointment we arrive Madison who scheduled the viewing was not there and the manager Trina did not see the "scheduled" appointment listed 3. the unit we were suppose to look at was not vacant and we were unable to view that unit. However, Trina found a different unit for us to view. 4. Applied later for the unit. Madison calls and says "the unit you applied for is now gone, I can refund you your application fee" I had to ask if anything else was available and then she mentioned actually there is a smaller unit that will be available. Customer service is offering possible solutions or another product if what the customer want is unavailable. 5. 11/9 we placed our deposit on the unit. who tenant had a move out date of 11/30 and they would let us know the move in date after the tenant vacates. No followup was given. emailed them 12/1 and called not response. 6. I called this morning 12/4 spoke to Madison telling me they will be doing the walk through on that unit this afternoon and will have our move in date by end of day 12/4 or morning of 12/5. 7. A hour later I receive a EMAIL from Madison stating. The tenant decided not to vacate and renewed their lease and they will mail my deposit. Such a big disappointment. Management please use this as a learning tool to express the importance of communication. I understand things happen. but how does someone not move out by vacate date, renew their lease and we not be notified until we reach out to the office.
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! First time renter and grateful for my unit however the unit is 50+ years old and aside from wear and tear it’s falling apart. Lived here for 6 months and already leaks for over a month that damaged my carpet, still was never told what caused the leak or if the ever actually fixed it. Dishwasher falling out of the cabinet maintenance came and told me to my face “cannot do anything about it” and won’t be fixing it after putting the request in LAST WEEK. Tenants will have to fix issues that come up with their unit themselves because the maintenance guy- only one, can’t be everywhere and the other 2 are not real maintenance men! Management is NOT proactive they do not reach out and getting a response doesn’t mean anything will change. Don’t waste your time, and money they do not respect that this is YOUR HOME!
Property changed management companies twice in 2022! Current property manager is extremely unprofessional, cold, and careless. Only one maintenance worker for the entire community. Half of an entire building flooded in December 2022 due to maintenance not keeping vacant apartment heated and water turned on.
well kept, professional and courteous management
I love my cozy apartment. The neighbors are friendly and I felt like I was home from the very first day I moved in. Everyone welcomed me and it is so nice to talk with neighbors and to love were you live.
Nice place to live. Staff in friendly and takes care of issues in a timely manner.
If you want a nice, quiet, small community then this is the place for you. It's good on the budget, there is no thru traffic, and the people are friendly. It just a few minutes from the Katy Trail, the Mills Mall, and downtown St Charles. Everything is within minutes from this location. The two bedrooms are decent sized, and the one bedrooms are a bit small with no circulation. It does offer a laundry facility, workout room, and swimming pool for tenants convenience. If you're looking for a nice peaceful place, this is for you.
Currently my fiancé and I are living in a one bedroom, one bath apartment with minimal storage. It's the perfect apartment for one person, but put two people in there and it's a bit cramped. Going to college, we can't afford much more.
