I live here and find it very nice. Every community i have ever lived in has some kind of issues no place is perfect. But walking through this place it is so pretty and close enough to every thing without being right in the middle of it. My apartment is perfect for me and I love the closet and kitchen space.

This property is a complete JOKE! Management always has an excuse for everything and don’t address or take any accountabilities for what is going wrong on their property. Package that are delivered get stolen, gated community is not really gated when the gates are ALWAYS broken, vehicles gets broken into at night, common areas are gross and never kept clean, floor and hallways is dirty and bugs everywhere. The only thing they’re concerned about is what next event can they do. So if you’re looking for a place with high rents/fees with some neighbors that can be inconsiderate and a property management that looks the other way; this is the place for YOU!!!!

Office staff is very unresponsive and difficult to deal with. You have to call, send multiple emails, and visit the office just to get a response. Office staff has lack of transparency and is not very personable. Maintenance issues are not addressed in a timely manner. Complex is not as well kept as it used to be - trash stains on the stairs wells and hallways. Trash is left out and is really gross, facility is rarely cleaned. Amenities are restricted due to COVID and are not well kept - definitely not a luxury complex. There are many more apartment options that are much newer and equivalent in price than Mariner Grove. It used to be a great complex when it first opened but it has drastically declined after
I’ve lived at mariner grove for almost a year now and cannot wait to move. These are some of the most expensive apartments in the area and I cannot understand why for the life of me. The fire system has been broken since I moved in (over 10 months ago), the gates are CONSTANTLY broken (seriously, at least one of them is broken every single day, lately all of them have been messed up), maintenance will take forever to respond to requests (even when marked as urgent) unless you go to the office yourself to stay on top of it, they’re constantly raising fees, and in the last month they’ve sent an email saying that there would be a $150 late fee for not paying your water bill (which is supposed to be automatically added to your rent each month. You can only pay online until the 5th, but they didn’t notify residents of THEIR mistake of not adding water to the rent last month until the 6th so they expected everyone to pay extra to get a cashiers check to make up for a mistake on their end) AND they just sent another one telling us that the renters insurance company they tell you to get when you move in no longer fits their requirements so everyone needs to cancel that plan and get a new one or there will be a fine. They are quick to fine residents but slow to make sure gates are working and package concierge isn’t broken (it’s either broken all together or there are too many packages being delivered so people can’t get theirs if they run out of space), yet they’re doubling the fee for that too. They clearly only care about making money. Don’t let the aesthetics fool you, this is not a good complex. There are a ton of better options that are much MUCH cheaper.

Apartment experience ever!THE WORST. If I could give less than one star I would. Upon moving in, we had so many issues. They tried to move us in an disgusting unit that hadn’t been cleaned and reeked of cat/dog urine. Animal scratches everywhere,dirty bathrooms,yellowed switch plates,splatters,etc. The carpets were NOT cleaned and it was beyond disgusting. We asked to be moved to a different unit because we were paying so much money to move into this place that we weren’t going to move our things into such a dirty place. The associate said that he cannot do anything about it and we had already signed the contract. A sweet associate by the name of Rachel actually fixed all of our problems. She was the only associate who cared enough to make us comfortable and the friendliest person that worked in the office. She got us into a different apartment and got the carpets replaced and everything cleaned. Another big problem is that we always heard the people above us and the people and dogs below us. The walls are very thin in this apartment complex is very cheaply made. Since this complex is in a very industrial area we always heard the very loud trucks in Savannah to her buses that are right beside the place. You always hear cars you always hear traffic and we always smelled the water reclamation plant and the chemical plant next to us. Forget waking up to fresh air and a beautiful Seabreeze you will be living in what smelled like a Third World country. And if you ever have anything to go wrong with any appliances forget having maintenance come that day or even the next few days it takes at least a week for someone to actually get out there because they cannot keep their maintenance staffed. The stackable washers and dryer’s ruined our clothes. They are literally the cheapest in the worst washer and dryer units ever! I had to put ice in the washer with water in it to cool down the water temperature when I had to wash delicates because even the tap water runs warm. Also, forget trying to cook anything in the kitchen during the summer because your whole apartment will get up to 100° it stays so hot in these apartments. “Do NOT LIVE here! Stay away! These apartments are THE WORST and the employees and management besides Rachel do not care about your wants needs or your concerns. If you want to have a sleepless nights in a stinky apartment in the middle of an industrial park.”

The apartments are extremely dark, with very little natural light. your extra services (i.e. Gym, Grills, Dog Park, trash services, gated entry), are either broken or left dirty so often is became a joke. The pool area is often trafficked by people not from the apartment. About half of the apartments are currently not occupied,so it feels very empty at the moment. Packaged with unacceptable poor service from the office, unpleasant and unhelpful maintenance staff that is always slow. Look else wear.

This property is a joke. Since the sale of this property, quality has gone down the drain. The pool is never clean. The landscaping is half-dead. 2/3 gates are broken, leaving the property unsecure or unusable. Rules are never enforced. I doubt the managers have ever even walked the property or left the comfort of their air-conditioned offices. As an almost 2 year resident, I have never seen any member of the new management team on property. The dumpsters are overflowing on a weekly basis, recycling is never emptied, so the maintenance staff of left to empty the recycling into the main dumpster. Don’t waste your time or your money. You’ll be disappointed, I assure you.

Mariner grove has the best of all worlds. The staff is competent, friendly, and receptive to suggestions. We have routine unique events within our community. Facilities are immaculate, boasting a resort style pool/clubhouse/gym/live oaks. 5 minutes to downtown, 15 minutes to the beach. It truly is a treasure, mixing modern living with old Savannah. jb

I would recommend Mariner Grove for sure. I loved being a tenant here before moving out of state! The staff is friendly and attentive and the property is nicely kept and very appealing. The pool and amenities are very nice and convenient, and maintenance is very helpful with issues if and when they arise.

I am so glad I decided to move to Mariner Grove! After living in downtown Savannah for a year, I was tired of the noise and the lack of parking, but still wanted to live close so that I could enjoy going to the park and going out to eat on the weekends. Mariner Grove is so close to downtown that I still enjoy going to events and socializing, but am able to drive home in less than five minutes and relax in the oasis that is Mariner Grove. The apartments are spacious and beautiful, the courtyard is charming, the gym is big and has brand new equipment, the saltwater pool is the perfect place to cool off during the summer, and the people that live here are wonderful. If you're looking for a new apartment in Savannah or are considering moving to the area, do yourself a favor and move to Mariner Grove!
