Located eight miles west of Mile Square, Indianapolis’ bustling city center, is the mostly residential neighborhood of Key Meadows. Renters will find that most of Key Meadow’s rental options are conveniently situated between two main roads, Interstate 74 and Highway 136. Many of these apartments have great views of large ponds and the Eagle River that flows through the area.
While Key Meadows is just steps away from Downtown Indianapolis’ great attractions, restaurants, boutiques, and shopping centers, the neighborhood itself has great amenities such as Ben Davis Park which provides residents with greenspace and ball fields. Right outside of Key Meadows are several retail stores, grocers, and restaurants.

Property Manager at Mariners Village, Responded To This Review
Hi! We are so grateful that you shared this wonderful review. Our Mariner's Village Apartments team strives daily to ensure we are providing a lifestyle and service experience par to none. We are happy to know we are succeeding:)
I definitely would not move here if you want safety and peace of mind. Since moving in I have had the swat team infiltrate my building and now a shooting where someone actually died on their patio. If I could give a 0 star I would. They have cameras everywhere and each time these incidents happened they stated they were not random. What kind of screening are they doing to make sure the people who are moving in aren’t going to be bringing crime in with them? They still want their rent increases though of course so I would take my money elsewhere if you can!
I moved my family out of state to Indianapolis, IN. We could only afford so much, so the monthly cost of living here seemed to be somewhere in the middle of the road for the city. We decided to give this place a shot, as it didn't look as bad as some of the reviews on here. Our upstairs neighbors have no respect for the community they live in. Our front porch, and the surrounding area to the water is littered with hundreds of cigarettes. We have cleaned them up multiple times, as maintenance does nothing to beautify the complex. The cigarettes continuously reappear, and is bothersome due to the fact that I have a small child. To make matters worse, I had 1700 dollars worth of tools to start off my career get stolen before I could even make it home that day. So that means that someone, living very close to us, decided that they would take what was not theirs. It is definitely extremely sad that I have probably walked by the thief responsible during my day to day life. The buildings themselves are in rough shape, and will last no more than 2 decades before they have to be rebuilt. I am sure there are good people here, but if you have a family, steer clear away from this place. I am counting down the months, and days so I can leave this place as soon as possible.
AC has been out for weeks, it was over 80 in here. And now cockroaches. Why am I paying so much for this dive?
If I could give 0 stars, I would. Management is only after your money and will do whatever it takes to keep your security deposit and come up with random move-out charges to make you pay. One of the bathrooms had floorboards missing, bugs would stream out and it took maintenance weeks to fix it...pretty sure there was a rat in the walls too
Horrible ! Dont move here ! Only thing good is the walk in closets & front room space. maintenance never comes and fix things , it can take months for them to come and when they do, they don’t even do the job right. Worst apartments ever can’t wait for lease to be up. Air conditioner leaks , fridge leaks, just a mess. Rent should be much cheaper as bad as these apartments are. Cabinets are old and broke. Tub peels . They will put new carpet in but thats it. Very cheap and lazy . Don’t MOVE HERE I REPEAT DON’T ! Management doesn’t even care or try to help. Been trying to reach management for months. Horrible you’ll regret it don’t waste time or money !
Really bad place to move into. We have lived here for a year and since we moved in we had a huge hole in the a/c unit. Dripped for about a month since we moved in before they actually came and fixed it. It wasnt just a small drip we changed a bucket daily.Didnt drip for about a weeks when it started all over again. The hole wasnt fixed untill march of 2017 ( reminder we moved in august 2016). During this time we had no a/c which affected us a lot because the apartment was so hot and we slept with two fans they gave us. Due to it not working the unit started to spark and it started a fire in which we called the fire department and they told the office to fix it because water and exposed cables were a hazard. They never did therefore this whole entire year weve never had a/c or heat . So another problem was the mold growing inside of there which made me really sick i ended with infection in my lungs from breathing it in.another problem was our dishwasher always falls out the didnt take the time to fix it. And the maintenance gets switched all the time. Also we never had actual closet doors you can tell that whoever installed them put them in wrong and they always fell out. Overall this is the worst place to move into we are currently fighting to end our lease we hate it hear we even got the health inspector on them and nothing was resolved. I cant wait to be able to leave
I have been living out here since January of 2016. With the new management and ownership I am finally seeing changes! I almost didn't renew my lease because I was moved into a bad apartment, but when I came in to sign they asked what needed done and maintenance finally came in and fixed issues I was telling the old property manager about for months! I am so happy with the girls in the office and the property manager really seems to care about the residents. They are about to renovate the gym and make it 24hrs! I am so excited and happy I decided to give them a chance to prove that this company is differnt and so far I am not disappointed! I highly reccommed coming and checking everything out yourself!
I've been living here 4/8 years I have a handicap brother there is no wheelchair accessible place for handicapped people they move me from one-place to another they did not finish the bathroom like I said I was going to I am very disappointed the end
