Your feedback holds immense significance to us, and we truly value the time you invested in sharing your thoughts about our community. We appreciate your understanding and the feedback you've provided.
I lived here more than 4 years. Moved out summer 2022. We had 6 property managers during that time. Each one was worse than the one before! The elevators are constantly broken. The garage doors are often stuck open, inviting the homeless to wander through the building and camp out. When I moved out, they listed my unit for $1000 more than I paid. They are not worth it. Also they reference roof top decks. The furniture up there is broken and residents take their dogs up there to relieve themselves because they're too lazy to go downstairs. I would avoid this property at all costs!
When I first walked up to the front door there was 3 homeless people sleeping on and around the steps. The building is under renovation currently and looks very homely because of it. Also. If you dont like strong smells, then please do not go into this location. The building was constructed in the mid 80s and boy does it show, smell and sound like it. i'd give this half a star if i could.
Andria and Chris has excellent customer service! They’re extremely helpful and very empathetic. I had an abrupt change of events, Chris and Andria were always there for me. They answered every call and replied to every email in a timely fashion. Their maintenance team is also very friendly and has quick response. Overall I would recommend this place for anyone, it has something for everyone. Plus! They’re recently renovated, and it looks great! Thank you again to all the Market Street Square team!
I've lived here six years. For me the location near public transit is perfectly convenient: buses, trolleys, restaurants. Ralph's great supermarket next door. The building is maintained flawlessly by courteous office and maintenance staffs. Gym, pool and sunroof are enjoyable places to workout and relax; neighbors are extremely friendly. Pets are allowed and apartments are slightly larger (more sq ft) than others I've reviewed. Quiet and vermin free. I couldn't be happier.
Property Manager at Market Street Square, Responded To This Review
We appreciate your feedback and thank you for the great review!
I loved living here! Had to move for work and was really disappointed to leave. Huge 1 BR, with several closets, storage space, in bathroom storage etc. The leasing office was very helpful and it's definitely worth the price!
It's in a great spot in the city, lots to go and do, but the building is outdated and could use some renovations, which they say they are currently in the process of. Only U-verse is available here so if you have someone else, you'll have to change. Most people in the community are very friendly and will even stop to talk, which I think is awesome! Overall, nice apartments, great area, and good community, Market Street Square is definitely worth checking out!

Market Street Square. The location could not be more convenient: next door to a 24 hour Ralph's Grocery, across the street from Horton Shopping Plaza (I have breakfast overlooking Nordstrom), above a salon, boutique, and doctor's office, and one block from the Gaslamp District. The Leasing Office has the most friendly associates of any complex I have occupied. The maintenence crew is very talented and helpful, and will respond to maintenence requests ASAP, often in the same day. Rent is very reasonable, and neighbors are kind and considerate. The only downside? You are living downtown in a city with quite a bit of homeless people (a nearby shelter was recently closed, displacing a lot of people), and a bit of late night crime. The police are in the area regularly, and you definitely have to have your wits about you when walking home late at night. For me, it adds to the excitement and hint of danger of living downtown. It is worth it to be so close to amazing restaurants, farmer's markets, movie theaters, a beautiful library, and dance clubs. Plus, on lazy days, the apartment has a lovely swimming pool and hot tub, bbq area, a sauna, and a tiny, but convenient gym. Plus, the place is pet friendly....a huge bonus! :-)
