Regarded as a vibrant college town with a small-town atmosphere, Grand Forks sits in the Red River Valley, sharing its eastern border with the North Dakota-Minnesota state line. Grand Forks is home to the University of North Dakota, the largest college campus in the state, as well as an Air Force Base. As a result, many residents enjoy easy commutes in North Dakota’s third-largest city.
In addition to the many restaurants, cafes, shops, and bars of its thriving downtown area, Grand Forks also offers a laidback pace in its many idyllic neighborhoods. Residents bask in the outdoors at Grand Forks’ many scenic parks and on the lush Greenway Trail that runs along the Red River.
Grand Forks also contains the state’s largest indoor waterpark, Splasher’s of the South Seas, touting a variety of slides, activity pools, a lazy river, kiddies play area, and a hot tub for adults.

Property Ratings at Markham Apartments
I rented here for the summer to go to the college nearby. The place was clean on the inside and pretty quiet. There's plenty of parking on the side of the street and I never felt unsafe. Sometimes it smelled like cigarettes, but it was due to the tenants smoking outside while my windows were open.
