Lenox Park begins just steps away from the retail center that is Lenox Mall and Phipps Plaza, but you’d be wrong if you think the high-rises and traffic of Buckhead make their way to this tranquil neighborhood.
Founded in 1931, Lenox Park stretches northwest from I-85 to just before Peachtree Rd., bounded by East Roxboro Rd. NE and Briarwood Rd. NE. Among its tree-lined streets and dense landscaping lies an incredible variety of homes. Newly renovated apartments share the streets with Craftsmen and ranch-style homes. The neighborhood’s namesake park and its charming pond is a popular spot for a jog or a picture session. If you’re lucky you might find one of Lenox Park’s old urn-and-column style markers — only a few have remained since the area’s inception.
Lenox Park is mainly a residential area, but it’s close to the two most popular shopping centers in Atlanta, and if you work in Buckhead it’s a prime spot for renting.

I only lived here for a year and left in September 2021. It has its hits and misses. Here is a summary of the pros and cons. Pros • In a great location right off 400 and I85. • Outside is well kept. • Maintenance orders were handled quickly. • Layout of my apartment was nice. • Neighborhood was well lit. Cons • They had a bad roofing issue that caused my apartment ceiling in my bedroom to leak. Apparently multiple buildings had the same situation. They claimed to fix it BUT near my window there is a leak that they never fixed. I had to use duck tape for the whole of my lease as for several months it was never resolved. • The water damage caused a ant infestation. Pest Control tried to fix it but honestly just buy your own stuff to get rid of them…. • Car got broken into. • The gated the mailboxes towards the end of my lease due to theft of mail and packages. • Gate broken sometimes causing orders from ubereats to not come through or unable to go home. But this is atlanta. No gates work anywhere. • Maintenance has come into my apartment when I am away and would leave my lights on for days on end.AC too. This really ticked me off. Neutral • I was promised a apartment with a microwave and it didn’t come with it. This can be a neutral because they bought me one to compensate. • Some people in the office are helpful some are not just depends on your request. • Amenities opened late due to COVID office was closed. The complex cares and notifies us of everything but sometimes forgets to. Ultimately I left for two reason: Living with my BF now and also the complex didn’t really address the leaking issues in my room. If it wasn’t for that I would have stayed maybe another year. 3/5
The location is really convenient. Easy access to the center of Atlanta. Also, office staffs here are really supportive. Overall, very satisfied.
First thing first, if anyone wants to live here I highly recommend requesting Shawn as your leasing agent! He is super professional and very reliable. I was moving during an extremely busy time in my life from traveling to taking classes and he was super patient and very accommodating. He sent me reminders and kept me on track and that is hard to find in a leasing agent. He was also new so whatever he wasn't sure of he would always go out of his way to find out and it just made me feel comfortable knowing that my needs were a priority. My stay at the Marq was pretty good. Building and location wise I have no complaint the apartments are extremely neat I did not see not one roach or water bug or any insects in my home for my duration there. The only thing I would say I didn't particularly like was the fact that I paid for trash but had to bring my own trash to the dumpster, a bit tedious for me. Overall I highly recommend this place its perfect if you want the luxury apartment feel without the luxury price!
My roommate and I moved here from Sandy Springs to be closer to work and we love it. The size is great for the price we're paying and you're really close to 400 and 85 so it makes getting anywhere in the metro area super easy.
I've been living here for about 6-7 months and based on the location, you're getting a decent price. With that said, the nicest thing about this complex is the pool and the renovated office. CWS or the previous owners attempted to upgrade, changing kitchen backsplashes, light fixtures, flooring, however it was poorly done. By that I mean, the molding is still the original (painted over 10 times), the kitchen cabinets hardly close, the windows and screens need replacement (major drafts), the showers need resurfacing as do the doors and A/C systems. Some folks can live with those things, but I’ve always lived in new apartments in top shape. The A/C is situated over the bathrooms and for some reason the bedrooms can’t get cold, the unit’s placement also means that you can smell everything your neighbor above you cooks...it will take over the scents in your home. My biggest gripe is that the parking sucks!! I often park in guest spots that are near my unit if residential spaces are taken, there's no way someone who doesn't pay rent is going to park closer to my home than I do. Some people own multiple cars which they park in guest spots, so have your guests get there early for a spot or have them uber/lyft to your place…you don’t want them to be towed! The neighbors are decent, but the walls can be thin at times. Sometimes the gates are a security issue while broken, but they recently got overnight security due to a few attempted break-ins and prowlers. The management is decent, but their package notification/delivery system could improve. The maintenance has a 24-48 hour promise, so no real complaints from them! The location is the real winner in living here. I like that I'm minutes from Lenox Mall, Buckhead, Lenox and Brookhaven Stations and hundreds of restaurants & shops. I doubt I'll resign due to those issues with the unit because there's a cheaper spot just down the road with true upgrades and a cheaper price, but Marq Brookhaven wasn't a bad spot.
We moved here about 6 months ago and from the moment we moved it we were well taken care of. The staff is extremely nice and always willing to do the right thing to make you feel important. When we first moved in the complex was nice, but since then the complex has been repaved and repainted....the pool area has been redone, and the gates are always taken care of to make sure only residents and expected guests are allowed in. This is the friendliest community I've ever been a part of....no noise complaints with the neighbors, everyone says hello and our dog (Joey) has made plenty of friends. Cant ask for more!
I love my apartment! This is my first apartment, and I found it on Apartments.com! The amenities are amazing, including the Dog Park, and Car Wash. I love the new management! They are continuously adding and upgrading the complex! They've recently resurfaced the pool, and installed new pool furniture. They've also totally renovated the gym (May 2015). They're in the process of re-painting all of the buildings, and have added extra lighting in hall and breezeways (October 2015). They also provide parking deck, and surface parking - and even have designated guest parking so you guest don't crowd the parking lot. Inside the apartment, everything has been updated. From faux granite, to espresso hardwood in the wet areas, and stainless steel appliances. For a first time renter, I am in love with this apartment. Besides the apartment itself, the location is perfectly nestled in Brookhaven, neighbor to Buckhead and only minutes drive into the city (during low traffic). The MARTA bus stops in front of the complex, and the nearest train station is only 10 minutes away - I take the train into the city every morning. My total commute from apartment to work, is a total of 24 minutes. Take that Atlanta traffic! Four months in, and I'm still in love with my gated complex, every time I come home. Thanks Apartments.com for helping me find my little piece of paradise.
I love living at this property because I feel incredibly safe which is hard to find. Having security guards around around the clock is great and they always make sure to keep residents true to the rules. Maintenance is always prompt and they communicate with you very well. Great place!
New pool furniture, new grills, updated computer center and gym, freshly painted buildings, and freshly redone parking lots are just some of the recent additions the complex has seen. It is a small community, literally around the corner from I-85, with an amazing and incredible staff that makes you feel at home.
I moved in these apartments 2 months ago and I really enjoy living here. Great location, easy access to the major highways. I love the apartment, the layout is nice. The staff here is excellent and cordial. I would definitely resign another lease term
Marq at Brookhaven has a great location near Buckhead and Brookhaven. It has close access to I-85 and 400 without dealing with the traffic congestion. Buford Hwy makes it easier to travel to Downtown from Gwinnett County. I have lived here for 3 years now and I love how convenient it is to great shopping and restaurants. I wish there was more visitor parking for guest. The complex has a new owner so they are doing improvements. They are making some great improvements, but if you're a light sleeper it may disturb you a little bit. Other than that, I like living here.
This area has many apartments...I chose MarqBrookhaven for the clean common areas, thoughtful, knowledgeable, helpful staff and of course, modern living space. The pool and surrounding areas are clean and tidy, adding to safety and relaxation. Clean pet friendly well lighted community with modern exercise equipment. This is the perfect apartment, ambiance and location for worry-free city living. Contented
I've only been here for 8 months and yes I had some issues. However, when I say that the office staff has gone above and beyond to do anything to make it better, they have. I had issues with my air for about 2 months but they've worked day and night to get it to result that would make me happy. I love the complex; they keep the grounds clean and make sure everything is working. It’s in a great area, with onsite security at night and day. One of the quietest places I've ever lived, epically for it to be so close to Buckhead and Midtown. I've taken Uber to different place and even down town and only paid about 25-30 dollars round trip. The pool is upgraded, the gym is 24hours and the complex itself is always getting a face lift. I would recommend anyone to this complex. It’s a great price and you will fill like it’s a home not just an apartment. From the people in the leasing office: Natasha, Cody, Maurice and leasing manager Tiffany. They are all great people.
I moved here back in 2012, before this area became the city of Brookhaven. I really like this community-- controlled access, a security guard at night, a pretty nice gym and pool, and the apartments are updated. They are even working on renovations to apartments now so if you wanted something totally modern, you can opt for that. However, even though this community is very close to Buckhead and the highway, I think the rent is too high considering what immediately surrounds it--- which is, a drag club, a strip club, and a laundromat. Also, parking is a big issue here and they are now charging an extra $15 a month if you want to park in the garages underneath the buildings. Your guests have to park in guest spots by the dumpster and those fill quickly on the weekends. The maintenance folks are pretty timely and usually only take a few days to resolve your request, and the leasing office folks are nice enough.
I've been living at the Marq at Brookhaven for about 4 years now and love the security and comfort I feel every day. It's a great location that's not too close to the city but not too far away. The only bad thing is that rent is raised quite heavily every year but other than that, it's beautiful and safe!
Largest floorplan in the area. Great price. Courteous staff. Updated interiors/exteriors and amenities. Parking can be a bit scarce, but not really a big issue. Easy access to everything the city has to offer.
* live in a single apartment and it is the best. Bang for your buck you can get in Buckhead. 24 hour security, excellent pool, parking, gym, and its a gated facility. If you just started your career in Atlanta give this place a shot. Every maintenance issue i brought up was dealt with within a week without charge or hesitation!
One of the largest floor plans in the area. Easy access to EVERYTHING the city has to offer. Since the new company has taken over, the grounds and the community have been immaculate. Parking is a bit scarce for visitors, but not really a huge issue.
The Marq at Brookhaven is newly renovated apartment complex conveniently located near Downtown Atlanta. It features an electronic gate that surrounds the complex for added privacy and security. Some of the amenities include a nice swimming pool at the center of the complex, a state-of-the-art fitness facility attached to the rental office, a business center, a dog park, and plenty of parking for residents and guests. There is also an area to wash and vacuum your vehicle(s). The apartment maintenance servicemen are very punctual and professional, too. They clean the complex and pool daily and also ensure that everything is working correctly in the apartments. This is my first time leasing an apartment and I am very satisfied with The Marq at Brookhaven.
