Copperfield may be small, but this compact area is considered one of Austin’s hottest neighborhoods. Copperfield is located in northeast Austin, about 10 miles from downtown. The U-shaped southern border of Copperfield is framed by green space – the Walnut Creek Greenbelt meets Copperfield Park, providing miles of hiking trails, lakes, and creeks.
Wide, tree-lined streets framed by sidewalks wind through the residential areas that are filled with bungalows and ranch-style homes. Residents can commute to downtown or to the University of Texas at Austin via I-35 or by bus – the neighborhood provides ample bus stops throughout. As Copperfield is mainly residential, residents travel outside the neighborhood for most of their shopping and dining. There are a few shops, restaurants, and businesses located off Parmer Lane, including a CVS Pharmacy and a Dollar General.

Property Ratings at Marquis at Canyon Ridge
I lived here for almost one year. Honestly, I loved the place, my apartment, and the office staff. The location is safe and it's close to almost everything. There's also a trail right behind the apartment complex, so that was a great perk. My apartment wasn't fully upgraded, but it was well maintained. The community is gated. However, the gates weren't always working. The maintenance guys were amazing. Whenever I had any maintenance issues, they would resolve it in no time. Lots of parking spaces available for residences, so you wouldn't find a problem parking your vehicle. The gym is pretty new and well equipped. Staff is very friendly. Rachel, Stephanie, and Jason were always there to answer any questions or help with any concerns. They made the move in and out processes easy and smooth. They're fair with the deposits. I got most of mine back. Overall it was a great place to live in and I would highly recommend it.

I've only been living at the Marquis for 6 months, and I love it! The office staff are incredibly helpful and so welcoming! Leisha is great get to know her! The 2 bedroom apartment I live in is extremely spacious! I love the kitchen area seeing as it has granite countertops and updated appliances. All neighbors are very friendly, I have no complaints about them. I'm extremely picking when it comes to apartment living and the Marquis has done nothing but satisfy my needs. I lived in "upscale apartments" before and they have been terrible. The Marquis is quiet affordable and in a good neighborhood!
I've lived at the marquis at canyon ridge for 2 years and counting, and I love it here. The office staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They know you and your pets by name, always give a friendly greeting, and have treats for the four legged residents (but always ask before sharing). Maintenance is quick to respond to issues- usually completing a ticket with less than 24 hours unless a special part is needed. I cannot speak to the emergency maintenance response time as I have had no need for it. The complex is clean and well maintained, with numerous doggie clean up areas as well as BBQ grills, tables, gym, and a volleyball court. The Pool has Grill and tables near by with a fire place, and a small water feature, along with the pool side loungers. I haven't noticed any issues with the pool or surrounding areas being unkept. Valet trash is required and while I don't like the fee, I love not having to lug the garbage to the dumpster- it satisfies the lazy part of me. The residents are friendly and respectful of noise issues- I've only had to ask the neighbors to keep it down on one or two occasions, and never a second time (per occasion). The apartments are very spacious and well maintained. Everything works, and looks good- I could probably fit two queen size beds in the bedroom of my 1 bedroom apartment if I wanted and still have room for a dresser. The bathroom is huge with lots of counter space, and there is a walk in closet, storage on the patio, and a utlity closet (with full size washer drier connections) Behind the complex is a local trail- Copperfield trails I think its called- Nice to walk along when it's cool out and leads to a small lake in the subdivision behind us. Very nice place to get away from the city for a while. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to live in Austin, but not feel like you are inside the city. About 15-20 minutes from downtown, 5 from Pfugerville, maybe 15-30 from round rock?
I have lived here for 3 years come this October. It's been great. The people who run this place are very friendly and professional. They have completed each of my service requests whithin 24 hrs. Rent is very affordable, great bang for your buck. They offer a variety of floor plans with different features depending on your budget. The best part is the hiking trail that runs right next to these apartments. Oh, and they have a hot tub.
Between my husband and I, we have lived in two apartment at the Marquis at Canyon Ridge for over a year, a 1 bedroom and a 2 bedroom. Our overall experience has been a good one, especially coming from the West Campus area. The apartments themselves are very nice and spacious! The one bedroom was spacious and the two bedroom was great! Everything is a good quality with good appliances, plumbing, flooring, etc. They have some apartments on the first floor with a yard area. I love this and would be willing to pay even more than they charge for that! I wish they had even more. The location is also great as you are only 5 min away from the Tech Ridge area. The management is very receptive to the community and tries and fixes issues that are raised and for that I have been incredibly impressed. People were speeding through the parking lot, so they installed speed bumps. The doggie bags were changed to a cheaper brand, but after 1 complaint, they were changed to a stronger one. I've read the negative reviews for this place, and I can honestly say I don't really agree. There is a lack of convenient parking in certain sections of the complex on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights; however, there is plenty of parking, just perhaps not right in front of your apartment. There are a lot of dogs; however, I hardly ever have issues and if I do, I let management know and they take care of the issue. A lot of people can complain, but if they dont let management know, then they can't fix it. For the price, you really can't beat it! It's a great value with a great management team. We are moving out, but only because we have to leave for another city. However, if we ever move back, this will definitely be an apartment we'd look to!

Prepare to be pampered! Reasonably priced, modern look apartment homes located next to the Copperfield Reserve. The community is built in the canyon-like hills of NE Austin and offers a sparkling pool, jacuzzi, BBQ area, outdoor fireplace with seating, community events, coffee bar, onsite workout faculty with exercise classes and a movie theater residents can use. Each apartment comes with concierge trash removal and the community is pet friendly.
