The staff is great and friendly I’m on first name bases with most of them. I love the fact that it’s away from the highway noise but still very close. I have lived a 2 bedroom for a couple years then upgraded to a 3 bedroom. Room layout is open and bedrooms are nicely sized. Patio is also a good size based on the size of apartment. Pool and gym area are both up to date and modern and gym is excess-able 24/7. Love living here! Dawn

Hey, Hopefully all readers are safe and back to normal lives after disastrous HARVEY. Well everybody said ( residents) to evacuate this place due to fear. I along with my wife and 4 children did not leave because of one reason and that was the STAFF of leasing office. No doubt they were amazing all that time, they kept their office open to solve people's problems and they left no page unturned to help the residents out. I am literally surprised to see .these young girls with so much of devotion. AMBER and KIMBERLEY kept coming to office till their route was not flooded, hats off to LACY LANDS who lives in the same apartment complex but probably she did not know as to what is going on at her home and instead she was commanding maintenance staff for their work and helping people. She was like the last soldier holding the fort or the captain of the ship to last to leave. Scarcity of words cannot suffice as to what these amazing ladies of steel did for all of us, resulting in no water in streets, no electricity or internet break down and built a sense of security among residents. Their act of bravery and devotion made an unseen bond between them and people living here. Thanks Marquis for such an outstanding management and salute to Director, Amber, Kimberley and Lacy Lands. I have been here exactly one year and find no real problems to complain about, maybe because new management, CWS, has assumed the property. The apartment community is an older complex, but has been completely renovated with modern kitchen and bathroom fixtures and although some washers and dryers are not new, as with most apartments, the apartment staff will replace them for you, if needed. Your maintenance requests are answered within 24 hours in which I appreciate and the maintenance manager, Orlando, who is professional and personable, along with his staff, Sam and Mitchell, notably, are fantastic when assisting you with any maintenance needs or general assistance. For example, as one who lives on the 3rd Floor, Orlando and his crew were great in helping me get a large item into my apartment, without any fuss, so KUDOS to the maintenance staff! Parking has improved significantly with the new parking rules in place, which was greatly needed! The office staff is equally nice and available to help you with whatever you need. Amber is ALWAYS nice with a smile on her face everytime I see her and willing to assist you time you walk through the door. Naquanza, Kim and Lacey are also a part of this wonderful office staff which make you feel special to live here. Overall, a great well kept property with a great and friendly maintenance and office staff!

I lived in this apartment home complex about 10 years ago when it was the Equinox and it was a good experience. Moving back now as the Marquis at Kingwood it is even better. Complete 4 Star renovations and a great management staff!! Very Highly Recommended!!
I lived here about 10 years ago when it was The Equinox and had a good experience. Never had to call maintainence, but the office staff was great. Now I'm moving back to this property as the Marquis at Kingwood. It's still a very nice area, awesome staff... and the upgrades to the place are phenomenal! The cable and internet options are not the greatest but I was told by the leasing agent that more options are coming in a few months. I am so happy to be moving back here! Take a tour, give it a look and you will not be disappointed!!
The apartments are newly renovated and they look wonderful ! The leaseing staff was amazing , answered all the questions with honest answers !
I love living here. It's very quiet. Most of the residents in my section are older professionals. It's a pet friendly community. Most of the units are very private. I only have one shared wall and it's a wet wall, so no noise. On the third floor, I have a completely private terrace. Nobody ever looks up here at me. This property recently changed management before I moved in and they are completely gutting all of the old units as residents move out. The only old item my apartment still has is the washer and dryer, but they work, so I'm not complaining. Maintenance is quick to address issues. I've been here for several months and plan to stay many years.
My family and I live at the Marquis of Kingwood. It has upgraded and affordable 1,2,& 3 bedroom apartments. The one and two bedroom have a couple different floor plans. The pool is nice and relaxing and the leasing staff are great. They are nice and knowledgeable. The people that live here are really nice. The nice thing too is They accept LARGE dogs. So if you're looking for a great community near IAH airport. Come give us a look.
We had moved in when another company had still owned it and the rent was reasonable, the staff was pleasant, and before the upgrades. Now, the location is still ideal and the place is super nice, maintenance is quick, and never any trouble with neighbors. Staff (besides one or two) seems to act like you are bothering them when you talk to them but besides coming across as snobbish, always help you as much as they can. The upgrades are really nice and compete with the newer apartments that are in the area, including the pool. There's free coffee, flavored water, and cookies daily in the office. Business center does its job but not 24/7. Gym is okay but geared toward arobic exercises. They have a saturday spin class on site. No bugs in apartments. Internet is pretty much only available with one provider, almost monopolized. Spacious. Pets allowed. You can sometimes see a bunny come out to eat from the woods located in the center of the complex. If you can afford it, its a good apartment complex to live in.
I have only lived in the apartment for a month, but the apartment is beautiful, well maintained, and staff is amazing.
