On September 25th, 2021, my wife and I were attending the “Meet and Greet” (Coffee and Donuts) for the residents. While there, eating and enjoying breakfast with your staff I started a conversation with your absolutely incredible Rental Agent, Tessa. I told her I had a concern about a GFCI outlet in our garage. I told her it only worked if you moved it around and sparked as well. Next, I Asked Tessa how to generate a work order. I told her I did not know if this would be considered an ‘emergency work order’ or not. Tessa said that she did not like that It was sparking. I told her it only did it if you tried to use it so I would leave it alone until Monday. At this point, Tessa told me she was going to take care of this and said that she thought that Maintenance Man, Michael, was on the property, and that she was going to take whatever the most safe and protective course of action for my family, as well as the property. She told me she would contact Michael and send him over. Michael’s response time was so rapid that by the time my wife and I walked home from the donut breakfast, my phone was ringing, and I already missed one call from Michael. As soon as I walked in our front door Michael was knocking on the garage door. Michael explained to me that this was a safety issue which dictated he fix it immediately. I told him that I was sure he would rather be home with his family. He stated that yes, he would, but part of his job was to protect my family. Ms. Champion, I want you to know how beyond thankful my wife and I are! I had a question Tessa immediately said it was more than a question, it was a priority. She then set into motion the corrective action of sending maintenance worker, Michael, to our home. Michael, as well, would not consider leaving it and coming back on Monday. Michael told me he had seen my family here on the property and that part of his job is to protect anyone and everyone on the Cascade property as well as the property itself. Ms. Champion, especially in today’s day and age it is extremely rare to see or experience this type of amazing professional customer service let alone witness or be involved in it. Again, my wife and I cannot thank you enough. While Emma and I are certain you have many professional and trained members on your staff, we thank you for sending us your best, Tessa and Michael. Our upstairs neighbors run around and bang on the floor nonstop! Literally nonstop. We have been calling in noise complaints for nearly 2 months now. We’ve contacted the office staff numerous times for follow up pleading with them to help us. They have been no help. They have not offered us any type of permanent solution. I’ve never experienced anything like this, and really don’t know what to do. The only thing I can think of, is to warn people so they don’t go through this.
I’ve just re-upped on my studio for my 3rd year. Here’s why: - Yes, it’s a couple bucks more to live at the Cascades but expect to save money on utilities. Both heating & cooling are effective & efficient. - ALL the amenities of the Cascades apartments & Country Club are available to me. I use the access to play golf, chill in the infinity pool by the lake, & eat at the Cafe on the docks (which offers affordable, quality food). - It’s takes getting used to, but the Valet Trash service is helpful. - Dogs are welcome for a reasonable monthly fee. Final 2 notes: 1) My rental car ran outta gas just as I was leaving the other day. I called the office & Scott came to my rescue. It was 100 degrees out so being stuck could have been awful. Big THANKS to Scott & the office for helping a resident in need. 2) I teach at Tyler Lee HS just a couple miles away. There’s a school bus that picks up in front of my building. Also, the 2 outta 10 rating for Lee on Apartments.Com is harsh... we earned a B (based on scores & college readiness) which isn’t easy to do folks. The teachers care & the administration/school district work hard daily to improve the lives of students (& teachers). Plus, the new school will be ready (mostly) for next year (& it’s gonna be nice-sssssss). If you’re looking, it’s worth it to check out the Cascades. Mr/Coach G
The amenities are wonderful! The view of the golf course is splendid.
I love living at Orion!! Free golf, access to a beautiful club house and restaurant at the cascades country club. 3 pools, one of which overlooks lake Bellwood and offers a waiting staff to serve drinks and food. Plenty of places to fish. Great scenery for jogging/walking. Secluded in a beautiful neighborhood but still close to shopping/dining. Huge gym! Hair salon and spa on site! Lots of options for different price points!! Attached garages at phase 2. This is hands down the best place to rent in East Texas! You won't regret it! Make sure and watch the website as the prices do tend to fluctuate.
This place comes with some great ammenities. The golf membership included with the rent and the multiple pools are major pluses for this property. They are well maintained and easily accessible. The building is generally nice. There is plenty of parking and the rooms are are nicely renovated and quiet. The appliances are newish. The building is generally clean and well maintained. The staff is getting nicer too. Overall, the apartments at Phase II are a good, well-priced place to live in Tyler, and the amenities make it well worth it.
