Timberglen is a small yet upscale community made up of impressive homes and tree-lined streets. Timberglen is far from a secluded suburban locale, however. The community enjoys both a laid-back lifestyle and urban amenities along Frankford Road. Fast-food restaurants, steakhouses, and coffee shops make it easy to enjoy a day out without going far from home. The area provides easy access to multiple North Dallas shopping centers, and Bent Tree Country Club is less than two miles east. With proximity to the President George Bush Turnpike and the Dallas North Tollway, the commuting crowd will be well taken care of. These major highways also mean that Downtown Dallas and the entire Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex is just a 30-minute drive away.

Property Ratings at Wray North Dallas
Roach infested. The leasing office never answers calls. Apartment has been falling apart since day ONE and you ask them to fix what’s wrong with it and they don’t care to fix it.

Amazing reception and customer service, clean environment, the gym is very specious, the employees in the leasing office are very friendly and helpful
It’s has been well. They pretty much handle everything that needs to be done with the apartment right away & the grounds are always nice. The name has changed a few times since I’ve lived here though.
Love the apartment layout! And the vibe is so unmatched here. The other residents are super friendly. One of the best amenity is the valet trash
I have only lived here for a week and the management and staff are very friendly and helpful. My first day moving in I had issues with the toilet and they came right in and fixed it. ?? Thank you Wray North staff. Keep doing a great job, you all are amazing!
I absolutely love living at Wray! Everyone in our community is so kind and quick to help. The way we are taken care of here is unlike any place I've lived. This is the exact reason I plan on staying here for as long as I can! 10/10 gold stars for me!
We have been living here for 3 years. I like how the creek and the trees give the nature close feeling. The only problem is when it rains, some areas get really muddy. The complex is quiet and we are blessed with nice neighbors.
Awesome management staff! Karla and James were the most helpful and information team I have ever had to work with for an apartment. There were some complications during the move in process but the management team was able to handle it with no problems!
Friendly community, beautiful property, amazing people. Office staff is very friendly and helpful. The residents are amazing and super super quiet for such a large property
The transition was smooth! We had a few complications but the leasing office was super friendly and sweet. They helped us anywhere they could and took the time to walk us through the process to make sure we would be settled as soon as possible!
I'm excited to share my positive experience as a resident. The staff's professionalism and warmth create a welcoming atmosphere. Impressive amenities like the fitness center and well-maintained grounds enhance daily living. Security measures provide peace of mind. The location's convenience near shopping and highways is a significant advantage. What truly stands out is the sense of community here. Friendly neighbors and community events foster genuine connections, making it more than just a place to live. Wray North Dallas exceeds expectations in every way. I look forward to continuing to call it home.
It’s really quiet here great neighbors and the management they are on top for any maintenance , it’s a nice environment everything especially stores are close by (dollar general)
Great property since move in on 04/2023. My leasing specialist Hunter R ensured we had a smooth move in and there were no errors with my unit before I received the keys to my unit.
Recently moved here and Hunter was phenomenal. Everything was a breeze, from the viewing to moving in. I love the open field in the back for my dog and the dog park. Gym is small but has everything you need. Appliances are updated but not most of the inner cabinets and drawers, they are just painted over. Neighbors are very friendly and to themselves, so I love the quiet, ambiance of the community. Happy to stay here!
We are new to the community but so far so good , neighbors seem respectful , and the apartments are nice .I liked that the move in process was fairly easy and fast they worked with me tremendously .
Easy and smooth move in! Rigo was so helpful getting finishing touches in and Hunter is a wonderful leasing consultant. Love the property and all of the trees and grass around.
I love the layout of my apartment! I also liked how smooth move in went for me. I was stuck to choose 2 floor plans, and the office team was wonderful and helped me pick.
It’s not to loud here, plenty of parking everywhere. The leasing staff are super friendly. Nearby a lot of great places. My only complaint would be the amount of bugs here is impossible endless, but hopefully my pest service works.
Loved the staff!!! Loved the community. I just moved yesterday and im loving it so far. All renewed. Can’t wait to grow a family here. Amazed
I don’t think the value is great here. The rent is entirely too high for what you get. A lot of stuff is outdated. Stuff breaks all the time. It’s not great.
So far my experience with Wray North Dallas has been great. The leasing staff is very friendly. There have been a few hiccups but they have ensured that things are taken care of.
Staff is very friendly and accommodating! We love it here. We are very excited to use the pool this summer and the grills when we have friends to come over.
I love it here so nice and quiet , everyone is so nice and the mind they’re business so it’s perfect if anything happens to Your unit maintenance is there the same day and I don’t have to throw my trash to the dumpster anymore bc they take it for me. Super convenient.
Overpriced for a unit that something breaks in every week. Don’t live here. Save your money. Maintenance doesn’t know what they’re doing. Leasing is useless.
Overall has improved greatly with new management, upgrades to the property, adding carports and other things have improved the overall experience living here.
It has been amazing so far! Kind new office staff and nice improvements. The maintenance has been getting taken care of pretty quickly and again the staff is perfect.
The office staff is always friendly and although the last management company left a lot of work for the current Lincoln is doing their best to improve the property to the best of their ability.
This place makes promises to do upgrades and fix damages and they never happen. We have huge cracks in our walls and bulging sheetrock from when they fixed the foundation. Nothing has been done to fix our place. Also when they fixed the roof it leaked in our apartment and they never fixed our ceiling. The upstairs apartment leaked into our apartment and those ceiling areas were never fixed. Our front door has been worked on several times, but water still gets in from the rain and now cold air. Most places would give you a new door. The lock is messed up and we complained but nothing like usual, you have to open the door in a certain way to get in or out of the apartment. Our rent went up about $400 and we were promised a washer and dryer, new stove, microwave, refrigerator, and lighting fixtures. Our lease is almost up now , so guess that's not going to happen. Oh but we are paying for amenity fees. Only new thing is the gym equipment. People drop trash all over and do not pick up after themselves. Plus we have noise issues. This place makes promises they don't keep and only put bandaid on problems. Soon as our lease is up we are moving. We are just tolerating our circumstances at this point. If I could give a negative number for the score I would.
Where do I start, why is Wray North Dallas excellent. When I walked into the office I was greeted by Melissa. Melissa is the assistant manager. When I walked through the doors, she was ready to assist me and made sure that I understood everything. Melissa was kind, patient, compassionate, and made sure that my move in was a smooth and successful one. I was assisted with whom I could contact for things needed from energy assistance to moving assistance. If you are looking for a nice place to live; Wray North Dallas is where you would want to be. My apartment home is perfect and so are the amenities. I am blessed to be here, and I am a happy tenant. K. Castillo
The new management that stepped in has been great as far as getting the apartments looking a lot better on the outside.
If you are looking to get ripped off and over charged, then this is the place for you! I stayed here for almost 3 years I should have left after my first lease term was up. If I could give a negative 10 stars I would. Management and Corporate office for this property have the worse attitude. Be warned when you move out, they try to find stuff to make you pay extra for old apartments with old carpet that they are so call trying to renovate with money that they over charge people for made up damages. These apartments are not worth the money spend your money elsewhere!!
I wanted to renew cause I enjoyed the space and area. Despite lack of maintenance corrections and timely updates.
Both exterior and interior are great. Very well designed and functional. Living here for one year was a very comfortable experience.
Communication for updates are not always sent out in a timely matter for those of us that live here.
I do like the quiet community and design of the units at Marsh Creek.
It is a great community. I especially liked living next to the green belt and seeing the trees.
I recommend the unit style but not with the issues it comes with.
This is an additional review of Marsh Creek Apartments. If I could leave zero stars I would. I see why the reviews are the way they are. Not only was my application denied within one day. I spoke to upper management Pam and still didn’t not receive a refund for my application fee and administration fee. Which is $215.00 up front. If you don’t get it, they keep your money. I have never been so upset with a apartment complex and management. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. It is not all it is cracked up to be. Read every review and make sure you have everything you need before applying to this apartment. C+ on BBB. You will be able to see for yourself why.
Property Manager at Wray North Dallas, Responded To This Review
Hello, our team is committed to honest and transparent communication, and we apologize if there was a misunderstanding about our pricing policies. We would be more than happy to review these with you and answer any questions that you may have. At your convenience, please reach us at mgrmarshcreek@dayrise.com.
At first glance, the negative reviews should keep you away from this place. I have tried to rent at this apartment complex. My application was denied within a day due to them stating the rent to income was unsatisfactory and that my employment history was unsatisfactory or insufficient. If you don’t have all the paper work they need within one day they deny your application. It’s already bad enough that you have to put 215$ up front and it’s non refundable. Once you have paid that. It’s no longer a warm welcome. The management team and leasing agents don’t answer the phone. You have to call multiple times. Rosa the manager is very blunt and non friendly. If she is busy well thats too bad for you, prospects or residents she will get to you when she gets to you. I gave one star due to the model property being absolutely gorgeous and the apartment complex being clean and quiet. Other than that, you can find a better space with nicer staff to take care of you and your future home.

Hello, thank you for your interest in our homes. We are glad you have been impressed by our clean community. However, we apologize if your experience with our team was less than positive. What you have described does not reflect our commitment to exceptional customer service, and we would like to learn more about the experience. At your convenience, please contact us at residentsupport@dayrise.com so we may speak in-depth.
I’m moving out of these apartments in a few days and it could not happen soon enough. I’ve lived in two separate units here and both have been dreadful. The first was a two bedroom one bath. I had loads of issues including a dish washer that didn’t work the majority of the time I lived in the unit. When they finally replaced it, they installed it crooked and the issue the first one had came back. The first apartment would also flood during rain, to which management shrugged at and said “it happens to other units too”. We also had our upstairs neighbor have a leak which rotted part of our ceiling. The first part of our time living in the unit, our heating/cooling went out and was not fixed for nearly a month. In our second unit we’ve had many problems as well. It is a two bedroom, two and half bath townhome. The floors were not properly installed and there were stains on the carpets. During a large storm our back doors blew open because the deadbolt did not reach the lock point. When we told management they again shrugged and said “can’t do anything about it.” We have a had a broken window since we moved in, we put it on our move in report and it never got fixed. It has been nearly impossible to keep our townhome a reasonable temperature for the summer. The upstairs bedrooms are easily 5-10 degrees hotter than downstairs even with the AC going. We hung curtains up in doorways to keep the temperature reasonable downstairs. Our electric bill was through the roof because the AC was always trying to get the house to a nice temp. The pool is fairly nice, but isn’t cleaned very often. One day we went to take the kids swimming and the pool was completely green. It was disgusting. Getting packages from the office is often a pain as well. I received a package from a relative, went to pick it up and they looked and found a package for an amazon order from months prior that I thought didn’t get delivered and didn’t find the package that had literally been delivered that day. Sandra (Assistant Manager) and Danny (maintenance) are very nice and always try to help. The leasing agent Tanisha, however, is often very unpleasant. She acts as if it is an inconvenience to assist you and that you are dumb for even calling. She acts like she hates you and her job. When she’s making a sale she’s very nice. When we went in to move apartments she was a delight. But as soon as we moved in it was back to her old ways.

We truly appreciate your candid feedback which alerts us to areas in our community that may need improvement. We regret your disappointment, especially involving any service-related concerns. We also noted your suggestion about ensuring the maintenance of our amenities and issues with your apartment's A/C issue. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for helping us ensure our current and future residents are happy and satisfied here.
The management does change here quite a bit bit the maintenance personnell kind of remain the same. Danny the maintenance is amazing, hes quick to help anyway he can. He always offers to help or asks of you need anything when he sees you in passing.

Thank you! We always encourage feedback from our residents and your feedback is especially nice! We sincerely appreciate you taking the time to review Marsh Creek and will do our very best to keep you happy! Should you need anything, please feel free contact us. 972.306.8505
I moved here two years ago and have yet to have a good experience. Management is unhelpful and rude. Maintenance is a joke and the apartment, looks gorgeous when you first move in but after a day or two you start seeing loads of issues. Flooring tiles or whatever they use, coming up and not being installed properly, foundation issues and water damage from flooding during rain. Broken appliances and doors that don’t match. Paint drips every where. Uneven walls, uneven doors, uneven windows. One thing after the other I noticed in my apartment. I couldn’t wait to get out of the place! Every time I’d request an issue be fixed it would take months, MONTHS before they would get to the issue and if they did, someone would walk in and walk out and never be seen again unless a new request was put in! I highly recommend trying your luck elsewhere. For the sake of your own sanity.

We're sorry to hear that you've been less than satisfied with so many aspects of the community. Most of all, we apologize if you have been made to feel that our team is apathetic to your concerns as this was certainly not our intention. We take maintenance related issues very seriously and if you are still experiencing this problem, we would strongly encourage you to contact the office so we may begin developing solutions. Recently we have been tackling a few maintenance projects around the community, we thank you for bearing with us through this process and apologize if it has caused any inconvenience. We truly appreciate your feedback and believe that if given the opportunity, we could solve many of the issues you have brought to our attention. Please, if you think it would be beneficial to discuss your concerns in further detail, stop by the office or give us a call any time.
THEY LET MOLD AND MILDEW GROW WITHOUT FIXING FOR OVER 3 MONTHS! THESE APARTMENTS ARE AWFUL! If I could leave ZERO stars I would. Don't let them fool you. I lived here for 2 years and always paid my rent on time. I noticed there was a really unpleasant musty smell and the baseboards were turning brown and bubbling out. I let them know about the issue. The only thing that they did was have a leasing agent come look at it. She said she would schedule someone to come handle it. Nothing ever happened. I reminded them several times over the next 2-3 months. I told the girl to email me and let me know when they would be doing the work so I could make sure my dogs were locked up. Still nothing. Overall, nothing gets done here. My A/C broke during the summer (over 100 degrees out) and it took them over 4 days to fix it. The only reason they offered to take $300 off my next month's rent is because I walked in to the front office looking hot and miserable with unkempt hair and no make up (with my dogs sitting in my car in the air conditioning) and I looked so horrible they had to do something. In the end, nothing ever got done with the mold and mildew after over 3 months until I moved out. I offered not to post reviews if they didn't charge me the final move out amount of a little over $200. THEY DID NOT CARE. They said they spoke with their supervisors and they said "no" and still sent me a bill. I was nice enough to pay a maid service to clean the place immaculately before I turned in my keys. DIDN'T MATTER! I can't believe they are so insensitive and greedy that they had to ask for that money after how they ignored my disgusting apartment situation. I even tried emailing the Day Rise corporate office. NO ONE CARES! Don't fall into the trap of these apartments. Save yourself the trouble (and the health risk).
I’ve been living here for the past year, my contract will be up on October and the sad part is that the apartments are really nice but maintenance, and other stuff really sucks here which is why we are not renovating our contract. First off when we were moved here back in September the front desk lady did not explain anything we had to ask every single detail because she was just not informative. They didn’t even let us see our apartment nor did they ever offer to show us! The only reason we new what they looked like from inside was because one of our friends lives here. Everytime you call the office they never answer you have to keep calling. I would even pass by the office to see why they wouldn’t answer (sometimes I thought maybe they were busy with another client) but no the front desk lady would just be on the computer and while I would look at her from the window and call she wouldn’t answer. If you make a service request to get something fixed they never take care of it you have to keep insisting weither you do it by phone or online. Basically be ready to fix stuff yourself. It seems as though the front office lady hates her job or is plain lazy. We also pay for pest control and it doesn’t seem like it because I’ve killed over 20 spiders inside my apartment, there’s ants, crickets, every insect you can think off that will try to get in your apartment! Pluming is also a huge problem here. They should send out notices but they don’t. Usually pluming problems means you won’t have water for most of the day. Really sucks and they just changed management but the problems stay the same. Our contract says our least will be up on October 28 but they gave us a notice that it’s on the 24th now but we aren’t even going to fight it because we just wanna leave
I have lived here for a about three years, management has changed several times within this time frame. The front office staff are weird to say the least, these women are miserable and determined to make it difficult for residents. I have placed several work orders in with them which have not been completed. When I ask why they haven't been completed I never get an actual answer so I decided to speak to the maintenance men themselves. When I spoke to them they informed me they had no record of my work order. It appears that the lack of communication from the front office causes the issues. On several occasions I have come in and not been acknowledged by the management staff because they were too busy gossiping. Besides that maintenance is very helpful and courteous, they always ask if I need assistance with my apartment and I always see them out an about working on the grounds. When they work orders are processed appropriately the work is done quickly and correctly.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. We love receiving feedback, the good and the bad, so please don't hesitate to let us know if there is anything we can improve in the future. Unfortunately we are not able to contact anonymous reviews and would love the opportunity to review any pending service concerns. Thank you, The Marsh Creek Team
The apartments are okay, the front office doesn't really inform you of upcoming events that may affect the residents, such as pool closure or when leaf blowers are coming to the property. Maintenance is pretty good honestly, it's the highlight of the property, they make sure the grounds stay pretty looking like it looks when you see the pictures online. I don't think I can recall a time where maintenance wasn't available for a request. They are really helpful and considerate. I can't remember all of the maintenance staff but Danny is really nice and proficient with making everything in the apartment is in working order and good condition.
3 different management companies took over while I lived here. The first two were fantastic. I didn’t even realize new companies had taken over because it was so seamless. However, when DayRise took over, it was horrible. They shut down the website without telling anyone, so everybody who used that to pay rent were charged late fees because they claimed they informed us. It took multiple residents coming in with the letter they had sent out to prove that they had not warned us about this or given us appropriate instructions. They also disconnected the emergency maintenance phone number a week before posting the new one. My air conditioner broke during this time. It took until morning for me to reach the office and they then told me that this was not an emergency (summer in Texas) and that they would send someone when all the other requests were complete. I ended up having to stay with my parents because I had pets that were getting dehydrated. They have also started losing packages. Many people receive notes in their mailbox saying something was delivered but then it can’t be found in the office. I have yet to receive 3 packages. Luckily amazon sent replacements for me. The front office staff is very inconsistent. They are very friendly with certain people and very rude with others. I was just in the office when they had to make an apology call on behalf of an employee. If you never need anything, the apartments are nice and the residents are great. But expect to have run ins with staff. They are currently trying to tell me that I ever paid a deposit. So I’m having to show them the bank statement where they took it out of my account. Very unorganized and rude.
Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Please read this review and take it seriously. Don't move here. Please don't move here. Let me spare you the nightmare. This is an awful apartment complex. The staff is horribly rude and inconsiderate. Management has changed several times. No one can seem to get it to run smoothly. Don't be fooled by the square footage of these apartments for the rental price. The bedrooms are small but the living rooms are huge. The closets are tiny. There is no pantry in the kitchen. There are serious serious foundation issues here. I had huge cracks in my walls and floors making it very easy for creepy crawlers to get in ( I have pictures). There is no security system. The complex is not gated. If you must rent here, please ask for a unit close to the front of the complex. There is a gross creek near the back of the complex that is home to skunks and coyotes. I've seen homeless people walking through this creek more than I would have liked to see. My upstairs neighbor had an anthill, yes an ANTHILL in her bedroom that took maintenance two weeks to tend to. The pool was "out of use" the entire time I lived here. The model that you will be shown is gorgeous. Really pretty. But you will not move into that. Not even close to it. I promise. They don't clean well after a tenant moves out. I had to clean the apartment myself before I could unpack. The cabinets were caked with grease and there were dust webs in the corners of the of the patio door behind the blinds. I am a big patio/porch person in the summer and fall. I NEVER once sat outside the entire time I lived here. Not once. Ms. Olivia is an absolute snake. She will pretend to "understand" and later make it seem like you never talked. Get ANYTHING and EVERYTHING from the management office in writing. Don't ever take their word for anything at all. If they tell you "help yourself to a snack or bottle of water" get that in writing. I am not some slacker who just hates rules. I paid my rent on time each month. Never caused trouble. Stayed to myself. Was nice to the staff. But, got no help in return. Save yourself and your money. Don't move here.

I have lived here just over a month and a half and I LOVE it! The front office staff, Susana, Olivia and Rose (I hope I got the names right ??) are always so great and genuinely try and help you out when you go in there. My dog loves the grounds and it is always well kept. The rent is affordable as well! The most important thing that makes Marsh Creek successful is their communication with the residents! I honestly do not have anything negative to say about this complex. All the neighbors and friendly and there is always plenty of parking. I'm so glad I found this place and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone!! Angela
The Marsh Creek Apartment Office staff were very helpful answering my questions. Ms. Virya emailed me back to follow up and gave me suggestions about the moving process. The atmosphere and the area are what I need right now. I like their fitness center and pool. They have a dog park too!
