Like the name implies, this district is home to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Although this neighborhood is a clear choice for students, faculty, and staff, the University District offers allure far beyond the campus. The neighborhood is filled with restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping options. Boulevard Mall offers over 100 stores selling everything from candles to shoes to candy. There is also an abundance of entertainment available within or near the community.
University District is home to several quirky museums including the Pinball Hall of Fame. SeaQuest Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Convention Center are also housed in the district. On top of stellar amenities and fun-filled activities, University District is in a prime location. The McCarran International Airport is four minutes from campus and the world-famous Las Vegas Strip is only seven minutes away.

Property Ratings at Maryland Park Apartments
This is the first time I have called and Apartment my home. I used to own a home and I decided to move and start a new life and I feel I was lead to this place. It pretty quiet, well kept, weekly pest control if you want. Convenient location, to the strip, to the airport, the 109 gets you there in 20 minutes, mall, restaurants, banks, grocery store , target, schools, 2 pools, 2 laundry rooms located in the mailroom. Truthfully I don't like telling people about it out of fear some unruly people will come. I just made 5 years that I've lived here. The Las Vegas Convention Center is in walking distance, which I attend often. There are local food banks and the Clark county Library They hire very nice intelligent employees that are patient and kind, they speak when passing, and ask how are you doing. This is important to us seniors. They serve coffee and occasional snacks and sometimes the have events which I have attended one and it was a great way to meet your neighbors. If your going to move here, I just ask to be respectful as this is Las Vegas and we all work different hours. Please and thank you!

I have been living here since 2016 up to 2018.i left then came back in 2021 up to present.one good reason why I came back in this apartment is that I am appreciated and staffs are friendly and easy to talk to.i love how they keep this property clean and maintain. The fact that this is old apartment here in Las Vegas but still they were able to preserve it.the only sad thing I can say about this place is they sometime shut the water down due to emergency reasons and that is reasonable. Other than that I have no issues. Thanks for everything you do,, all the staffs and management team.

I have lived in these apartments for over a year and for the price and security and location it doesn’t get much better. the office is super nice and i feel safe here. there are bugs however they have pest control weekly to help out with that issue. my only criticism is that my renovated apartment was not finished and still isn’t (we moved in but they did not finish what they said they would) however it isn’t major and the apartment looks great still!

Moved into a roach infested unit for $1400 total. Threatened to keep deposit on day 7 if I leave before month 6. Bug spray was their solution.

Hello, and thank you for leaving our community a review. At Maryland Park, we take pest control seriously and have established a regular schedule of preventative treatments to ensure the comfort and well-being of our residents. However, as we do not have access to your identity based on the review, we kindly request that you contact our Area Manager, Alisa, directly at (702) 685-4818. Alisa will be able to gather more information about your specific situation and work towards a solution that meets your expectations. Thank you again, Plenty of Places Marketing Team
This place only cares about money, not the residents. They refuse to keep the pools clean, systematically trying to get rid of tenants to continue jacking up the rent. The neighborhood is NOT walkable, there are gunfire and murders on every corner, lots of crossfire from gang activity. Thieves looting through cars, jumping the fences, stealing packages. One neighbor was home invaded at 2am. Property response was " They are not responsible for safety after hours and maybe everyone isn't suited for their properties." DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!

Unless you want your water cut off all the time, terrible wifi and annoying neighbors who are noisy all night, and the staff who are never in the office at the hours that they are suppose to be then I would highly recommend not moving into this place unless you like terrible service!
In my experience, I have been blessed and living here for just a little over a year and I do have to give everyone who works here and lives here kudos for always keeping this place clean and quiet, as well as the up keep on the lawn/pool care, friendly staff and mindful neighbors.
We like the staff members of Maryland Park Apartments. Specifically, Maria and Jeanie are very nice to the tenants and we appreciate their work at Maryland Park Apartments. Thank you Maria and Jeanie.

My honest opinion the free internet they have here works pretty good. The people in the office are really nice and are quick to fix or deal with any concerns you might have. The place outside is pretty well kept up daily. Very clean place. The only thing that is not so good is sometimes the pool gets pretty dirty with all the palm trees surrounding it. Some times they’ll have their pools very clean for a good week and then some weeks it gets pretty bad lol
