Property Ratings at Mason at Alameda Station
This building is by far the worst place I have ever lived. If you have any other options, I strongly suggest doing that instead. The buildings and complex are dirty and homeless people are a constant presence inside the building where they like to go to the bathroom and sleep in the stairwells. The manager told me that there is ‘nothing I can do to prevent homeless people from getting in the building’, so just be aware that is how they feel about the situation before signing a lease even though there are plenty of possible security upgrades that they fail to implement. Basic service requests take weeks and sometimes months to be completed. The amenities are low quality and rarely open. The parking garage is not secure and car break-ins are a frequent occurrence. Residents leave trash in the hallways all weekend and the management does nothing about it. Residents don’t pick up after their dogs and management just lets it sit there. Overall a disgusting place with terrible staff.

Hi Ryan, We’re sorry you’ve had a negative experience here at Mason. Our garages and buildings are secured/controlled access however, doors are just deterrents and not 100% foolproof. In addition to Front Range Patrol patrolling the property nightly and being available for residents to call 24/7, we ar e in the process of implementing a new security measure soon. Maintenance addresses service requests promptly and sometimes a vendor is needed for the repair, which can delay things. We have a full-time groundskeeper and a full-time housekeeper to clean the grounds and buildings. We do care and we do clean up after residents who do not pick up after themselves or their pet. We ask that residents do their part to help keep the community clean. We’re sorry that we cannot please everyone. We welcome prospective residents to come tour the property and meet our wonderful staff who work hard every day to make Mason a great place to call home. Thank you and best wishes to you in your new home. Team Mason
RUN AWAY NOW from this nightmare of a "luxury" apartment complex. If you to plan live here, you can expect to enjoy: 1) Non-stop, shameless lying from the manager, who never accepts responsibility for anything and forever blames "Vendor delays" for everything that goes wrong (which is a lot). 2) Having your security deposit stolen from you even after you've cleaned your apartment from floor to ceiling. They will invent charges to make sure you don't get it back, knowing that you won't have the resources to fight it. Enjoy more blatant lying from the manager at this stage. 3) The soothing sound of endless barking dogs that go from about 6 AM to midnight (if you're lucky!). Yes, you many of you will be living next to (NOT near, but next to) TWO dog runs in a dusty alley. No, your neighbors won't care that their dog has been barking for an hour. Luxury living! 4) Car break-ins in the garages, random people hanging out on the steps in your "secure" building at night, and the fairly startling sound of someone trying your apartment door handle every once in a while 5) People letting their dogs go to the bathroom all over the stairwell. EVERY DAY FOR MONTHS. Management does nothing. The checks are coming in from that lease you are really regretting about now, so what do they care? I'm sure they will try to scrub this review. 6) Even more shameless lying from the management about all of these issues and so many more. Have you ever met someone who lies to your face even though they know that YOU know they are lying - and they do it anyway? That's the manager. Do not rent here - you can do far better. Don't rent from Greystar at all, I would say, but definitely stay away from Mason at Alameda Station.

Hi, We regret hearing you are so angry about your living experience here at Mason at Alameda Station. We strive for excellent customer service and we're sorry we didn't meet your expectations. We would like to have a better understanding about your experience. Please reach out to us at (303) 623-2500 at your earliest convenience and we will do our best to resolve this with you. Team Mason
Let me start off by saying I did not rent at IMT Alameda Station. The two two-bedroom floor plans I liked which were available when I needed to move were located on the first floor, with one facing the pool. But having said that, I love the features in the newly renovated units. There was storage space and room in the bedrooms. While there isn't a lot of green space on property, I like the proximity to the rail station, grocery store and Downtown. The area is in the process of being revitalized, so keep that in mind if you're looking for things to do. Finally, I want to compliment Claire S., Leasing Consultant. She is so professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about the property and surrounding area. While looking for a new home, I have had to deal with many leasing consultants who can't answer questions about their own property. Not so with Claire. I really enjoyed working with her, and I know that as a resident, she would make sure to answer your concerns. Thanks, Claire!
This place has great amenities and the apartments are nice. The location is convenient as well, but has so far made it a very noisy place to live. The only apartments that become available are either facing a construction site that starts at 7am and is super loud or you face Alameda, which offers loud traffic and constant sirens literally 24 hours a day, every day! Oh, and don’t forget the train! If you can live facing the pool or zen garden it may be worth it but otherwise you may want to choose one of the many other places just like it that is not so loud.
My experience living at Alameda Station has been wonderful. The staff is incredible. I had a bad experience living downtown because the staff didn't care. This is a night and day difference. The women in the office, Morgan and Brie, are super friendly, always helpful and just nice people. They care about my experience here. If I have a light bulb out, somebody is here to replace it within 30 minutes. The grounds are beautiful. The pool is kept very clean and and people are respectful of other residents. The south Broadway area is fantastic so it's great to be able to walk to shops and restaurants. This place is just a few blocks from the light rail so it's easy to get downtown.

Thank you for your review and residency with us for four years at IMT Alameda Station. We are happy that our team has provided you with great customer service. Thank you for calling IMT Alameda Station your home.
Typical new apartment complex that looks shiny on the outside, but can't take care of its residents. Management has complete disregard for the residents and their personal property. Countless bikes have been stolen from the garage and management has done nothing about it. Security isn't taken seriously as the garage door was broken and left open for over a month. When questioned, management gave a vague response saying that the "issue would be fixed soon." In my opinion, one month isn't "soon." From threatening to fine residents for keeping their property on balconies to towing resident's vehicles, the staff at IMT Alameda has made it plainly clear that they only care about their bottom line and not their residents. They tow vehicles without notifying residents and offer no help as they "contract through a third party", leaving residents with hundreds of dollars in fees for the audacity to park their vehicles in the garage that they pay for. In my case, I had to pay $600 to get back my vehicle that was towed and impounded. Other residents have had this problem and IMT seems to want nothing to do with it (other than their cut of the towing fee). The windows are inadequate as you can hear the trains blaring their horn in the night and construction across the street in the morning. The maintenance staff is wonderful and is always prompt with service, if only the rest of the company was as attentive. I've heard nothing but rave reviews about other apartments in the area and would suggest you to look elsewhere instead.
Property Manager at Mason at Alameda Station, Responded To This Review
Hello, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are happy to hear that your experience with maintenance has been wonderful, but wish that your full experience with us was a positive one. While we do provide an electronically controlled garage and community, as with any electronic device there is a possibility of malfunction. While the garage doors did have needed maintenance, we can assure you that the repairs were addressed with prompt attention. Please understand we worked closely with the Denver Police Department in any instances of criminal activity. While we cannot share how these concerns are addressed, we do take action and assist in any way we can. IMT Alameda Station offers free garage parking with each apartment. We have a permit only parking garage that is monitored on a regular basis. In order to ensure that there is parking for the residents who need it, unauthorized (or inoperable) vehicles are removed by an independent, 3rd party towing company. The vehicles that are towed from the facility are only those in violation of the parking policy. While lack of a permit is the most common violation, there are other violations that can result in a vehicle being towed. For any violation other than an unauthorized vehicle, warning notices are issued prior to the vehicle being removed. I truly hope that we can improve your opinion of the community. Please feel free to reach out to me directly if you would like to discuss any of your concerns. I am in the office Monday-Friday from 10:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Thanks again for providing your feedback and for taking the time to review the community, Lesley | Community Manager
