Property Ratings at Maxwell
This is the worst apartment, worst management ever. The management is outrageously irresponsive. It takes forever for them to response to your issue, often no response at all. The management NEVER care about you and NEVER resolve your problem. I have experienced a severe NOISE issue since I moved in. The ceiling construction is paper thin and has ZERO noise insulation ability. EVERYDAY I can hear EVERY sound from upstairs. I have complained to the management many times (several emails a day). But it takes weeks to get a reply from them. They did nothing to resolve this problem but tell me that the noise is “the normal noise of an apartment living,” and warn me to pay a TWO-MONTH rent penalty if I terminate the lease! STAY AWAY! Save your time, energy and peace!
Save yourself time, money, energy, and your mental health and do not live here. Poorly managed is an understatement. My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. I have had to endure 6 leaks in the span of just 1 year – a clear sign of the property's neglect and incompetence. The horror didn't end there. I left for a few months, during which time they promised to repair my leaking ceiling. When I returned, I was shocked to find my apartment absolutely trashed. It was as if a tornado had torn through my home. Items were thrown everywhere, dust was inches thick, and my personal belongings were treated with utter disrespect – picture frames were BROKEN, and all the screws to my furniture were stripped. The promised "repair" had turned into a disaster. To add insult to injury, just a day after returning to this tornado-like apartment and obviously having to hire my own maids, my mother and I woke up to find the ceiling light leaking onto my bed. After months of supposed "repairs," my apartment was trashed FOR NO REASON – THE REPAIRS DIDN'T EVEN WORK! It took an emotional breakdown – myself and my mother sobbing in front of the FOURTH property manager I had dealt with in just one year – to finally have them take steps to help me. Let me emphasize: four different property managers in a single year. That alone speaks volumes about the chaotic mismanagement of this place. Let me tell you, this isn't the only horror story coming out of this complex. My experience is just one of many. If you value your peace of mind and want a livable home, look elsewhere. This place will drain you in every way possible.
This apartment has 0 noise isolation. You can hear all your neighbors' activities and the management does nothing about noisy neighbors. The property manager is also incompetent and rude. For the sake of your health and happiness, STAY AWAY from this place even if they offer "rent concessions". You will regret ever moving here. I certainly do.
STAY AWAY, THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH IT!!! Packages get stolen all the time, management pretends to be helpful but never actually helps with anything, EXTREMELY LOUD (this building is literally built with the worst possible materials and you can her EVERYTHING from inside your apartment). The management only treats you well when you're looking to rent. Once you sign, the management will never help you resolve any problems, EVER.
Stay away , there is no management at all , trash is always full the whole apartment smells like trash , 5 water leaks so far and this is a new building!!! Packages getting lost , not a secure building at all
STAY AWAY!!!! I've lived here since they opened and gave them time to get it together. 4+ months in the fobs still dont work, there's Airbnb rentals, leaks in unit AND in common area, mold growth from leaks, we've gone through 5+ property managers, the intercom isn't set up, there's 1+ month of trash build up, clogged trash chutes, and more. The managements voicemail is full so there is no way to contact anyone. they dont care about tenants, just getting paid.
