The complex is owned by Anterra, which is an investment firm, not a landlord, and it's glaringly obvious. For reference I've lived in the B2 floorplan for almost a year and a half. The units were recently renovated and it's clear they cut every corner possible. Bathrooms don't have fans (but they do have a switch for one implying one was removed), towel bars and shelving don't have drywall anchors so they begin falling out of the wall within 6 months, toilets are wobbly, the cabinets in any bathroom with a shower are disintegrating from moisture and the walls are squishy next to the shower. Furthermore they did not cover any fixtures while spray painting so every towel bar is covered in gray spots that look like dust but never come off. The maintenance staff takes at least 1-2 weeks to respond to any requests, and the amenities are the definition of lackluster. Maxwell townhomes will provide 4 walls and a roof, but it is very clear that this property was designed solely for profit, with no regard to the residents experience. I am a 20 year old girl and even I know this place is designed to fall apart, it honestly makes me wonder if they purposely used substandard building practices to keep security deposits in order to fix their cost cutting efforts. I just cannot think of a single reason you wouldn't put drywall anchors that cost ¢10 on a towel bar when you know the drywall will be exposed to high levels of moisture.

This seems to be a very nice place to live that’s why I chose it, I gave a 2 because my unit has a lot of roaches. At this time there are no other units available and I am in a situation where I have to be settled for work. So I decided to be proactive and start fighting them on my own as well as the complex, I was told it was treated and I’m assuming it was because they were not as bad as when I first saw the unit, but they are still bad. I was also told that I would have ongoing pest control until it is eliminated, which shows me that they care but I am still not very happy about the situation.

Vary spacious unit but disappointed that half the outlets don’t work, dishwasher and microwave didn’t work, and there were some little roaches found in the kitchen. Even with these complaints the front office was very quick with fixing the issues

While the office staff, the community, and the swift response of maintenance staff has been great, we were very disappointed by the condition of our unit upon move in. Looking past the living room floor being filthy, our dishwasher and microwave weren’t working when we moved in and more than half the outlets are non functional. One, maybe two of these things could be looked past, but with everything all together, it has put us in a “what next?” mindset.

The office staff is beyond amazing. They are so friendly. They don’t mind if you come in just to chat with them. Maintenance comes in a timely manner when you place a work order. Apartment is spacious and very homely. You can decorate your front or back however you like.

We love living here for the most part. Some of our neighbors can get a little loud or don’t park quite right. But everyone’s pretty friendly. The office staff and maintenance workers are efficient.
It’s a very quiet community for me and my family to live in. The only thing about it could use some upgrade in the units and more parking space
the move in experience was a mess but i’ll leave that be, i dealt with leaking appliances since move in but am charged for the “platinum” unit. nothing is platinum about cheap flooring. anyways staff is okay and maintenance is okay. won’t be renewing
I love how peaceful and quiet it is. The layouts of the apartments are great. The staff is friendly. They remember my name. Nice area of town as well.

Maxwell Townhomes are run with caring professionals who are just a phone call or email away with any type of help we need. I also appreciate the lack of garbage laying around the complex.
Overall the community is nice. However, the roach infestation and trash being left everywhere sucks. The staff are nice and try to do what they can but you can only do so much when resident are not cleanly.
Overall everyone has been very helpful but I did run into some pest issues they that stated will be handled.They are very prompt and quick to address my issues.

Not able to get something done like a complaint about a neighbor not having respect when u have to go to work and party the night before and not letting get any rest cause they have no respect for their neighbors around them

Great staff , my apartment is done very well . Great customer satisfaction in the office. Helped me with all my necessities. Feels like a very homey community and pet friendly.
I do not recommend Maxwell Townhomes to anyone. Work orders are never fulfilled and often times closed out without anyone even coming by. The bug problem is insane. They don't follow ADA standards. We honestly can't want until our lease is up and we can move.

Everything has been great. Don’t expect maintenance to fix anything wrong, or come out within 2 months. But other than that, it’s a great place to live!

It’s a nice community. I just wish the staff told me they can tow your car whenever you park on the signs. There are German roaches in my complex I’m not sure about others.
Maintenance could be better. It's always a issue to get ahold of anyone in the office. When a voicemail if left for the office there is never a call back.
I’m on my 2nd year at Maxwell town home. I’m getting ready to sign my 3rd year lease. The complex is a little old but the staff does a great job of making it look its best. I feel safe. My space is respected by neighbors and staff. If I need something repaired maintenance is quick to respond. I am also very thankful we don’t have a pest problem it’s probably because of the many cats that roam the complex. I guess that would be my only complaint. Them darn CATS!!!!
infested with roaches and management lies. I spray every morning and before I go to bed. can't use the pantry because roaches are even inside the unopened boxes. my last place had raccoons in the walls and attic... I actually wish I was back there. please do not rent here, you will regret it

Stay away from this place! Management and staff are the worst. This place is so dirty! The move out has been a nightmare they just add fees to make you pay more and i was a resident for 2 years, could not believe this is what i had to deal with!

I love the staff at the office they’ve been very helpful! However there is couple maintenance issues occurring due to low staffing. We just wish our AC issue had been resolved sooner however that was a vendor issue not management issue. The roaches are pretty and though… like I wish I had actually taken that serious, there’s just so many cracks and crevices for them to hide and escape.
I can really see myself making this a home, however I have had no air conditioning for a week and no one has come to check on my unit, despite my calls, my emergent maintenance request, and continuously being reassured someone will come. I was told this unit would have a pantry and an outside porch storage, which it doesn't. I would not even mention it other than my house has been hotter inside than it is outside for a week. I work from home and take zoom calls sweating. My pets are constantly panting. I pay rent, which includes AC and maintenance, which for a week I have had neither. I really want to like where I live, I am not someone who normally writes reviews, and I am the furthest thing from a Karen. I have been kind and patient, but this is ridiculous.
So far it’s been great only irritating thing was we weren’t able to pick up our keys until 4 and could actually move in until 7. But other than that it’s but pretty good for far staff is nice and helpful!
Pretty fair apartment so far. The apartments are clean and the appliances are fairly new. The only concerning thing is the fact that the apartment forces you to pay for a washer and dryer and does not give you the option bring your own. This is especially concerning when the washer provided doesn’t work and from talking to the neighbors, theirs don’t work either and have not been fixed in over 6 months. Hopefully my experience will be better
A few hiccups with the move in but resolved fairly quickly. Overall a good experience, the staff is very friendly and Cullen explained things extremely well. I would recommend

I would never recommend this place to anybody. It's very dirty, roach infested, the staff are rude and unhelpful. it is no where near worth the cost. There is trash everywhere, people abandon stolen cars and the sit stripped for months at a time. There is an infestation of cats. The management company does not attempt to do anything to fix up the property. The pool is dirty, gym is dirty, front mailbox area is dirty. They do not and will not clean anything.
Just moved in 6/21 and loving everything so far, love how easy the gate app is and makes it supper convenient! The pools and all that they have for us is great! Looking forward to meeting everyone and to enjoy our stay here at the Maxwell.

This complex has continued to improve the longer I’ve lived here. Upgrades to the common areas like the pools and picnic spots have been nice in addition to the newly redone building exteriors. I’ve also had great interactions with the office and maintenance staff. While I know they’re always very busy, you always feel like they take the time to listen and help out in anyways that they can!
Moved in and unit was not clean, drawers missing, and stains on the ceiling. I was very disappointed and the staff was aware of the condition prior to my move in
The staff was great. The staff made the move transition very easy. The property is very well maintained, and clean. It`s also very calmed and quiet for the most part. I`m loving it so far.
Everything literally seems to be getting worse. All I see is people moving out. Can’t wait for my lease to be up tbh. Management doesn’t know what’s going on, let’s whatever happen. No communication what so ever
I rate a 4 because the price is affordable and it is quite a decent place to live. The only thing I don’t like is living around filthy people who leave their trash all over the place and don’t put it in it proper place. What does it take to flip open a dumpster lid and throw your trash where it belongs? People here don’t seem to care. I am also pro recycling and when I see people throwing trash bags NOT RECYCLING into the recycling bin just because they don’t want to open a dumpster lid is disrespectful. The office sees this because we got a notice about the trash situation and furniture dumping but some of us are not filthy people. Also furniture dumping by the dumpsters is ridiculous. I can see some furniture every now and then but every week? I have personally seen a white truck that obviously did not live here drive in and dump furniture and left but it seems the tenants are being blamed.
Very nice and helpful staff! Easy online apps which i love rather than having to do everything manually or in person. Slight pest problem from previous neighbors. Staff helpful in getting that handled also
It is nice and quiet to live, I like that there are many trees, you breath nature. It is seen that the maintenance managers make an affort to keep the social area clean.
