Maintenance enters your apartment at will without notice given. When the office staff was questioned they stated they could enter anytime they want and has no time to call tenants each day . My apartment has visible fire damage from a fire in December. Maintenance goes through bedrooms and uses my items . Stay away from this place.

Dear Resident, We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your experience. We apologize that there were inconveniences during your stay. We do try to prevent issues from a management perspective, and when we have to respond to things out of our control, we aim to provide services with efficiency and integrity. In the event of an emergency, we do maintain the right to enter an apartment without notice. However, we perform monthly maintenance inspections to provide routine services such as inspecting for leaks, changing filters, and checking smoke alarms for proper operation. Notices are always hand delivered noting the dates to expect our team that comes in a pair to diligently provide this complimentary service. If we do not perform these inspections, safety hazards may go unnoticed, so most residents appreciate the proactive maintenance. While we may need to move items that are placed in areas such as the access to furnaces, our notice reminds residents to clear these areas and make sure animals are secured during inspection times. We do try to give as much consideration to the time spent in each apartment as to not be too much of an inconvenience. We hope that this explains some reasons our team may be entering your apartment. If you ever have a conflict with our projected schedule, please contact the office to make an arrangement and they will try to honor that if possible. We apologize again for an disruptions we may cause while servicing your apartment, and we look forward to the chance to improve however we can. Respectfully, Management
My apartment is PERFECT for me and my little dog. It is in the BEST location with everything at reach. I am a single woman, working late at night but I ALWAYS feel safe here. The maintenance staff is always on-point, very friendly and helpful. The pool is the cleanest I have ever seen and not overly crowded. But, the best part about Mayfair is the office staff. They have always been courteous, respectful and fair. It saddens me to leave here but I am working in Kentucky now and it is the logical thing to do. I certainly will miss my apartment, and so will my little dog; WE LOVED IT HERE!

I lived at Mayfair for a year and throughout my stay i had nothing but great things to say. Everyone in the office is very helpful and the maintenance staff were promt if any issues arised. I would definitely recomend.

Location is five stars. Internet is fiber so five stars (great for the work from homers). Ladies in the office are lovely and friendly. Haven't used maintenance to rate that. When I move I got see the actual apartment I would have and I paid attention to the surrounding apartments outside to see if they looked junky. Either they have great residents that like to be tidy or they keep the outside very clean looking themselves. Either way I am happy.

One of the better experiences I have had renting. They are adding a lot of nicer touches inside the apartments now. I would re-rent from them if I am in need to rent again. This whole area of Jeffersonville is really being invested in and growing fast.

I love my apartment and recommend Mayfair. I have lived here a couple of years and have had no issues. The location is convenient and my neighbors are nice. I love my closet space. I think the rent is a fair price.

The apartments are large enough, but the guy who installed my internet told me these buildings are very old and catch on fire occasionally. The plumbing situation was pretty terrible and made it hard to use the bathroom/shower mostly due to old appliances and poor drainage. Worst of all, I moved from out of state so I was unable to tour the apartment before renting it and it smelled so strongly of smoke that even with three fancy air filters it gave me lung issues and made me nauseated every time I entered the building. I was unfortunately unable to get out of my lease.

Mayfair is a great place to settle down in. It is a cozy place. It has nice apartments and townhomes that have a great amount of space. The inside of the apartment (or townhome) are nice looking and pretty affordabel. Pool is nice. The customer service is wonderful. I never hesitate to call them because they do seem to enjoy taking are of you.

The office staff is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The maintenance team is quick to respond to work requests. This property is always so clean and seems to be well kept. The location is so close to everything from shopping to restaurants.

That's the best I can describe living in Mayfair after 4 months in a 1 bedroom unit, perfectly okay. I cannot speak for the entire complex as there are many buildings, and I cannot speak for anything other than a 1BR 1BA unit, but mine is nothing special, not terrible, but not special either. The appliances, countertops, kitchen sink, AC unit, and the water heater are all new. However the kitchen cabinets, carpeting, and tile in the bathroom are all quite old. The carpet is what I dislike most, it is very old and has a musky odor. The ladies in the office, and the maintenance personnel are all very friendly and have been quick to handle the few issues I have had. I enjoy the fact that the buildings are all quadriplexes, and I am on the second floor. I have no one above me, and no neighbor directly next to me. I can hear my downstairs neighbors if they are even moderately loud, but only when I am quiet, so it is okay. Really the only complaint I have about Mayfair is the water payment. To bill the water, they add up the entire bill of the complex and distribute it based on square footage. In a 1 bedroom my bill is around $50/mo. I have no dishwasher nor a washer and dryer, so I seriously doubt I use anywhere near $50 worth of water every month. I would much rather the billing be based on actual usage per unit like every other utility.

I just want to provide some additional information about that cost in hopes to clarify that it is not just the water usage being paid for. That total on your statement includes water bill and sewer bill added together. The water bill can be requested at the office for you to review, and you will see that the water company charges for the following: 1. water service charge 2. water usage charge 3. public fire protection charge (due to hydrants on the premises) and of course 4. sales tax. Then the Jeffersonville sewer company charges for 1. sewer 2. drainage. If you would like some additional information on this please let us know and we will be more than happy to help! We do certainly understand that it is hard to feel like you are paying a portion of someone else's utilities. I have had a pleasant management and maintenance experience here at Mayfair. One maintenance guy in particular is genuinely the most honorable -respectable-and upstanding men that I have met in my life. He IS integrity. If I were to start a business, he would be the first person that I'd hire. You have a real gem in him! My front door has been painted and it looks wonderful.. beautiful, clean and bright! Very nice! I would rate my overall experience an A.

So I have been living here with my girlfriend almost a year and it is just crazy about how poorly ran this company is. They have just walked in a couple times while me and my girlfriend were indecent without even knocking. I had warned them about a Crack in my bathroom ceiling and all they did was put a bucket under it and it wasn't even until I had said something to them for the 3rd time. Then I come home and the ceiling in my bathroom had collapsed, insulation drywall and everything all over the place. Then when I get ahold of the maintenance guy all he does is vacuum up the debris, and drill up a piece of wood to cover the hole, then just sets another bucket down. But during the while process he had cracked my bathroom door, broke my towel rod, and also WIPED HIS BLOOD ON MY CEILING!!!!! Our kitchen counter had cut marks all over it, our fridge doesn't work, they kept increasing the amount we had to pay. My girlfriend had cut her toe on the tread from the carpet to tile. This has to be one of the worst places I've had the pleasure of staying at! Do not recommend!

Our policy is to always knock before entering, as well as distributing written notices in advance to announce approximate times we will be performing any maintenance walk throughs. Also, we do try to complete all incoming work orders in the order we receive them. If we have an urgent issue that must be addressed immediately, we will place it at the top of our list and ask for some patience until we can get to your issues. Please contact the office by email or telephone, or stop by at your convenience and give us a list of your concerns. We will create a work order and be sure your repairs are completed in a timely manner. Your concerns are very important to us. We would also like to be sure your refrigerator is in good working order. We respectfully ask that our residents communicate any issues to the office so we can address them while they are happening and then we can ensure you are peacefully enjoying your home. Your happiness and comfort is of the upmost importance to us and we are very glad to work with you.
There are several different types of apartments in the Mayfair complex. The price is average for the area and is mostly quiet. The management responds fast to requests. There is a community pool and laundry room.
