Danbury is a historic New England city wrapped in modern sophistication. The city is known for its pervasive sense of charm, offering a whirlwind of art, history, and culture on every corner. Home to Western Connecticut State University, Danbury infuses its rich historical offerings with a vibrant, youthful energy.
After moving to your Danbury apartment, be sure to check out some of the city's fascinating museums, like the Danbury Railway Museum, which details railroad history through an array of extensive, hands-on exhibits. The Danbury Museum and Historical Society provides a close look at well-preserved historic structures, along with a modern exhibit building to explore.
There are plenty of modern-day conveniences at Danbury Fair Mall, which offers a wide variety of shopping and dining opportunities in town. Residents connect with nature at any of the many surrounding parks, including Collis P. Huntington State Park, Pootatuck State Forest, and Kettletown State Park.

Property Ratings at Mayfair Square
The reviews of people stating no parking issues, naming employees who as the dates of the post no longer work here. Nice try. The moving trucks are hear daily with more people moving out than in. Why? The biggest issue is that RMS hires inexperienced individuals to manage their properties. Their training must include how to pass the buck and make excuses. Homes on Turner Road (entrance rd) are exposed to the high traffic of those enjoying paths to walk their dogs or just exercise. The road itself is a busy road Monday through Friday with large freight trucks going to and from Belimo. During the school year there are two school districts (Danbury for Mayfair residents, and Ridgefield for the Turner Hill Estates) who will be picking up and dropping off students twice a day. So in order to enjoy the 1st floor means having no privacy. The clubhouse and pool are self monitored areas. Originally there were two employees here on a full time basis, then one. Now its someone a few days a week. When teens who live here invite their friends to enjoy the club house and pool it can be loud and guest dont usually abide by the rules -especially when its of no consequence to them. There are people who are aware they can access the pool and clubhouse through a door that doesnt lock. The gym equipment is outdated. Really walk through and look at it. Its a basic gym and is crowded to the point you have to wait to use certain equipment during the times its going to have the most traffic (early morning and after work hours) The pool floor is usually covered with debris as a result of it not being maintained properly. Chemicals are not used adequately either. Parking is an issue. If I could do it I would post the numerous emails all residents receive demanding, (because that is what a all caps wording in a sentence means to most) they park 1 vehicle in their garage at all times. Sedans and SUV will not fit. Its NOT quiet here. Residents can hear the outside like its happening in your home. The windows are covered in cheap tin blinds that are flimsy and bend out of place. White carpets lend themselves to having guests remove their shoes but at the entrances of the room, carpet tacs will pierce your foot. There is no padding for a 12 inches around the edge of each room and then what does exist is the cheapest it comes. It covers a concrete floor so it takes a toll on your knees and back. Bottom line: There is no luxury and there is no sense of community here.
Moved here after selling our home in Ridgefield CT. You never hear your neighbors and the complex is very quiet. We have 2 cars, one goes in our garage and I never have a problem parking my other car. The pool and gym are beautiful . Emily the office manager is wonderful and very professional. Marcos and Dave are very friendly and make sure everything is fixed properly if needed. The people I've met are very nice. It's easy to walk miles around this beautiful neighborhood and stores are easily accessible. I'm very happy to be renting here.
If you are looking for a friendly, quiet, clean place to live Mayfair Square is the perfect place. Here are the 5 reasons I love to live at Mayfair. 1. The townhouses are quiet. My neighbors have dogs (that bark) but I can not hear them from inside my unit. 2. They are energy efficient. In a bad storm our neighborhood lost our electric for 24 hours this summer and it was over 90 outside. My 3rd floor only went by 2 degrees, the temperature on 1st and 2nd floor never changed at all. 3. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you have a question or problem they address it immediately. 4. It is well kept. Everything from the grounds, pool, exercise room and club house are continually being cleaned. 5. It is easy to get to. It is right off of 84 at the intersection of 684 so it is great for commuting. If you are looking for a place to live this is definitely somewhere you should check out.
