Property Ratings at Mayfield Gardens
Lived there for years. The new management made the old management look good (that’s saying a lot) so many changes, price increases, no amenities- haven’t opened pool in years. Takes MONTHS to get any work done. So outdated.
New management is god awful. I wouldn’t suggest moving here you’ll be watched like a hawk w everything you do, everyone is in everyone’s business and will tel on you. Also if u need maintenance in your apartment it’s been posted in their lobby that they’re charging people for it. Ridiculous right? Everything is half assed and not even fixed. They whole building is falling apart&the 2nd floor is completely water logged even in the hallways. They don’t care about the tenants they even permanently closed all the garbage chutes and many tenants are outraged and have already moved out. The pool hasn’t been opened in 3 years and is disgusting and crumbling anyway.
this place does not have a decent administration.I had to live there for a short time thanks god I left and now it is more than 2 months I could not get my deposit back.I dont suggest you to deal with unprofessional management
The apartment is in a convenient location close to the highway and many stores... But as far as living here goes, I would not recommend. Nothing gets done in a timely fashion. The grounds need a new parking lot and pool that the owner refuses to pay for. Steve, the owner, piles the whole job of maintenance on to one guy, so all the requests for things to be fixed fall behind. It's just a mediocre place because there aren't enough funds put in to turn this place into what it could be. But It is safe, it's generally quiet too. It IS a place that is safe to have a child, so that's a plus.
