Southeast Salem is an industrial neighborhood along Highway 22. The neighborhood is made up of the Salem Municipal Airport, commercial developments, and a few residential neighborhoods with a variety of rentals options situated towards the borders of town. The neighborhood also features a community park called Cascades Gateway City Park that surrounds Walter Wirth Lake and Mill Creek. For more entertainment, residents can travel about 10 miles west into Downtown Salem or go a bit farther to the trails and parks along the Willamette River.
