Fruit Belt is a quaint neighborhood about two miles outside of Downtown Buffalo, New York. A mix of urban and suburban, the Fruit Belt sits along Main Street, and to the west of the street lies an array of restaurants, ranging from bakeries and cafes to taverns and lively bars. The east side of the neighborhood has more of a suburban feel, boasting longstanding homes and affordable rentals.
This neighborhood is most notable for being home to the Buffalo General Medical Center and surrounding hospitals and medical facilities. This is very convenient for residents, as are the tram stops along Main Street. The Fruit Belt is an ideal neighborhood for commuters because of its proximity to the city.
