Property Ratings at McCarrons Village Apartments
I have lived here for 3 years now and am coming up to the end of my lease term, I may have to relocate for work but I am reluctant to move because I've had a good experience so far. I've never had any major issues; for minor ones, maintenance is quick to respond and management has been consistent and good for the most part. The area isn't amazing but the apartments are roomy and nice for the price. I've had no negative experiences so far. Even though the other reviews cite pest problems, personally this has never been an issue for me.
I lived here for 6 years. It's a diverse neighborhood which I really like. Management was very responsive when things needed to be done and maintenance was right on the spot if I ever needed anything. All issues were handled promptly.
They have a rodent and Roach infestation. New management will not answer the phone or the door. They half assed fix things and the doors will fall off the hinges because the wood is weak and I believe there’s termites. You will have to reinforce your door with longer screws at all eventually probably fall out.
I lived here for 1 year with my roommate and I was blown away by the care taken by the staff here to ensure that our time in the apartment was excellent. They were always so quick to answer our questions and address anything we had concerns about. Also, the apartment was super spacious and looked great! And neighbors were curtious! I was very pleasantly surprised by the care and professionalism at McCarrons Village Apartments. (Thanks Rayauna for all your help!)
My experience at McCarrons Village for the past 3 years has been great. Although the apartments are a bit outdated, the size of the apartments outweighs that extensively. Any problems within my unit are fixed within a day or two and the staff is always very helpful and friendly. McCarrons Village is also one of the only places in St. Paul that accepts large dogs. This is a good place to rent if you want a reasonably priced spacious apartment.
My apartment complex is a great building if you are looking for something that is close to many convenient stores (you will never have to go far for gas) and many fast-food options (you will never go hungry). This is also a great building because it is literally located by two bus lines. So if you are like me, and you use public transportation to get to and from school or work, then you are going to love living here. One of the things that sets this apartment complex apart from all of the others in this area is the fact that we have a homegrown garden. If you like gardening and growing your own produce, this would be the place for you!
Floor creak and we can hear the upstairs peoples every step
