Lincoln Elementary School, Kennedy Middle School, Monta Vista High School and DeAnza College are all with in the walkable distance. It's a great place to live. Front office manager Dinnah responds promptly and really helpful. Maintenance staff responds well. Now we can pay the rent online which is great.
The new management increased rent way higher and moved the all utilities bills to the renter to pay, given that , these are old apartments, not good security , cars break happening and bicycle theft etc, no proper kids play area, I wont advice this apartment complex for the new hunters .
The apartment is a great place to live. Manager and maintenance team respond to all the requests promptly. Wonderful place very well maintained, and we are enjoying living here. All the schools Lichon Elementary, Kennedy Middle and Monta Vista High are walkable and it perfect for all age groups. De Anza college is just opposite. Club house with recreation is there can do parties and get togethers. Play area, green area, gym and swimming pool are there. There is walk trail next to the complex. I strongly recommend our apartments. It is close to highways. Satya
I have been living in this apartment for about an year now and have so far loved it here. Management is responsive and maintenance crew (especially Oscar) are extremely hands-on. I would recommend this complex to anyone looking for a good, relatively- inexpensive accommodation in a safe area.
In August 2020, McClellan Terrace got a new management and maintenance team and they are both great! The manager (Penny) listens to concerns and tries her best to get problems resolved. I want to give a quick shout-out to the maintenance team (Oscar and Efren)! They did a great job installing our dishwasher and faucet. No leaks and we are very happy with the results. With the new reorganization I can say that this apartment complex is great!
I have been living in this apartment from past few years and the first thing that comes to my mind is the apartment itself, the location and the people. The new manager is great and the new maintenance team headed by Oscar are very efficient and resolves issues quickly. Have seen tremendous improvement in the service levels. I have been living in McClellan Terrace for 8 years with my family and we love this apartment, because: 1. Very close to elemental/middle/high schools, kids can walk to school, it save my life to drive them to and back from schools every school day. 2. Kids and Family friendly, the apartment management does care kids safety and try every effort to maintain a family-friendly living environment. 3. Maintenance and Service is highly improved. I was not happy with the service before the apartment hired 2 new maintenance guys recently. Oscar and Alfred are the best team that I have ever met for last 8 years. They are very professional, responsible, and trying their best to make the tenant satisfied. Every time I have house problems/emergence, I can get their response very shortly, even in the weekend when it's not their working time. Overall, I'm satisfied their service.
This is a very nice place to live. It is a small apartment complex, friendly neighborhood. All schools are at walkable distance and kids walk together to school. Close to highway. Recently we had a maintenance change and we got a new maintenance supervisor, Oscar, who is just amazing. We are living in this complex for more than 15 years, and Oscar is the best. He is very professional and respectful to everyone. He take his job very sincerely and tries to help in every way possible. We will definitely recommend McClellan Apt.
I m living here from September 2018 ... no problem at all ... before they have one maintenance guy who was not good but now oscar is there .. he is so good .i m happy to live here
The Property is managed and maintained by single family who is incompetent and is reflected the moment one enters the apartment complex. Management: One tour of the property will display the incompetence. The office , room and gym (if you can call it) are poorly maintained if they are. There is rotten smell from the office and carpet. There is no gym and swimming pool water is rarely cleaned and open. The office is mostly closed but when it is open don't be surprised to find the manager dozing off on the job . Maintenance: Maintenance request copy is never provided to the apartment dweller and the request is rarely completed unless one has the time to visit office daily. Also , the maintenance staff mostly has no clue of what they are working on and they make it way worse before finally a professional is called. A simple fix can take months. They are very rude and do not listen to the dweller at all. As one family manages, more maintenance request mean more rent increase in next contract. Most stay due to apartment location being very close to schools but move on as it is not maintained at all.
It is good located! but it will be nice if the rent is not to expensive and more when is located around college and school and it is difficult to get an apartment close by!
This is a small little complex, well reviewed. We went there but it was already full. They pay for water, utilities, trash. So you pretty much pay for rent and cable/internet. Good pricing close to Cupertino and interstate.
We were looking for house on rent here in this aparment. The community living here helped us in indicating the availability. The apartment is very close to Abraham Lincoln Elementary school which is a good advantage.
