High Point is widely known as one of the world’s major furniture manufacturing centers, and twice a year the city hosts an international showcase of the industry’s leading styles and designs. Naturally, the design culture has permeated the fabric of the city itself, and it’s on full display in the city’s vibrant arts scene.
High Point apartments provide a great place to raise a family, with an abundance of educational activities and outdoor recreation available for all ages. The city’s strategic positioning near the intersection of I-40, I-74, and I-85 makes it easy for residents to explore the wider region, including nearby Winston-Salem, the North Carolina Zoo, and Uwharrie National Forest.

Property Ratings at The Reserve on Main Street
A lot of Car breaks ins, roaches, windows never open saved two people lives in fire last year as they were TRAPPED inside you think the landlord or corporate cared nope, they allow people to smoke cigarettes inside regardless if they have oxygen tank, shower water cold, mildew / mold, it’s like pulling teeth to get security deposit back when they are months late sending it out, management never answer the phone nor emails. They are raising rent for these units to be older and broke down.
I’ve lived here for almost 6 years and I have watched this neighborhood gradually go downhill over that time. It is by no means bad, but it is clear which direction it is heading. The original property manager was strict and friendly and was admired. We have since parades through a line of management companies and their reps that have gotten farther away from our shores with each transition. I kind of expect a notice of demolition soon so they can build something that justifies the increasing fees and rent that have been burdened upon the residents. My suspicion is that they are accepting benefits and feel like they can charge whatever they’d like from local bureaucrats. They claim they have breed restrictions but several residents have pit bulls and German shepherds. The residents themselves are fairly nice albeit occasional social issues between couples but for all of the increases thus far we have gotten painters who can’t stay between the lines, Bluetooth dryers, and an office that is available during 30% of their posted business hours
These apartments are in good shape and well maintained they are not new and modern but the maintenance team does an amazing job at keeping everything in order. The community is safe and quiet. I lived there alone for two years and never felt that I was unsafe. The only reason I left was due to the smoking policy, they are very smoking friendly there and I developed pretty severe asthma when a heavy smoker moved in below me. Although I am leaving I will say that I am happily impressed with how management took care of my problem. They were very understanding and did everything within reason to accommodate my need for a smoke free environment but unfortunately they want to remain a smoking friendly complex and that’s just not healthy for me.
I. Once live there about 2 months ago the most. Overall it was ok the biggest problem was the people and their animals using doing their business. In front of your balcony and not getting it up. Complaining.didn't work out for many and during the hot day you was bother with the smell and their are many people that can't tolerated that smell. If the dog owners would follow the rules of where to take there animals it will be a descent place to stay for some. Property manager should enforce dog owners where dogs should go to do there business. Probably half of the resident don't suppose to have pets without a pet fee. I knew of 3 while i was there.
This apartment complex had everything that I as a young single person would need in a first apartment. The grounds and buildings are well maintained. The community is quiet and very laid back. The office ladies are always a pleasure. The apartments are not new, my only 'complaint' is the kitchen they are very outdated and my appliances aren't the best and add up to a higher power bill. But they do get the job done. Overall you get what you pay for.
This is a beautiful complex with great rates. Location is convenient and elementary school has high ratings. Cant wait until my current lease is up to move in!
For the most part it's a really nice community, and most minor repairs are handled in a timely manner. The office staff is friendly. There are a few bad apples living in the community that are painfully slowly being weeded out. Occasionally repairs will require multiple complaints to get handled. The tennis court is unusable and the "playground" is old and in need of repair and pest control in the summer.
This apartment complex has a great location and is affordable.
