From the sandy Hoffman Beach on Lake Parsippany to the beautiful homes in tree-filled neighborhoods, Parsippany exemplifies New Jersey's "Garden State" slogan. The town is award-winning, often topping "best" lists for places to live, and it has been a "Tree City USA" for more than 40 years. The town's history dates back to the first Dutch colony established in 1611, and several historic locations provide a glimpse into the town's history. One of those locations, the Benjamin Howell Homestead, was built in 1763. Another, the Stickley Museum at Craftsman Farms, was designed and built by Gustav Stickley -- the only home he built for himself. The museum offers guided tours of the 1911 homestead, which provides a unique glimpse at the arts and crafts movement.
Parsippany wraps around two large lakes, Lake Parsippany and Boonton Reservoir. It is home to several parks and golf courses, adding to the natural beauty of the town.

Property Ratings at Meadowbrook Gardens
The complex is in a very accessible location, as you don't have to go far to find what you need. There are many stores and shopping centers nearby. The apartment interior is well-maintained. The appliances are on the newer side, which is great. I know that they are not subject to breaking down easily. Maintenance and management have responded very quickly to any requests I have put in.
I have live here for one year and few months. I love the apartment including washer/dryer and the kitchen, many more. The staffs are wonderful and quick to answer anytime I contact them for help.
I came to know about this community from my friend, since I had 2 months of time with me, I have called to this community for one bedroom apartment. They explained me the details and process very clearly. I had to go to my country for a 2-month visit during the same time, that was when Claudia and team helped me incompleting the accommodation formalities online very smooth. On the day of my arrival to US with family, I was tensed how will the community hand over me the flat, but I was amazed when I entered the flat, everything was neat and clean, covered with plastic sheets. We were in need of help on setting the thermostat and the team responded within 1 hour. All the issues we raised were resolved within no time (though they are minor). I have never seen such a responsive, understanding community staff till date. I would strongly recommend this community to my friends (to anyone for that matter).
I recently move to meadowbrook apartment .They are so beautiful n peaceful. The prosperity manager Claudia was very helpful .she help me to find the apartment I was looking for .I’m very happy with the apartment.Very nice very very clean .staff at office was great .I recommend this apartment to friends n fam 100 .I had a great experience with meadowbrook apartment.Thank you Claudia n staff .
I lived at Meadowbrook for 3 years. I first moved into a one bedroom, and then moved to a 2 bedroom to accommodate a growing family. If they had any 3 bedroom I would still be living there! Everyone from the office staff to maintenance are extremely professional and friendly. Whenever I needed to reach out for anything I would get a response within a day. Any time maintenance had to come fix something it was also done immediately. The apartments are also a great price (considering the area) especially since they have an in unit washer and dryer. As long as you leave your apartment clean and in good condition they are also super fair about returning any deposits. Nothing but great things to say here!
I stayed there for almost 1 and half year with a very generous 1 month free, but when my lease ended, the cleaning charges were outrageous ! Washer/Dryer Cleaning - $75 Microwave Cleaning - $100 Kitchen Sink Cleaning -$75 Stove cleaning $150 Dishwasher cleaning - $75 Refrigerator Cleaning -$150 Bathroom Cleaning $150 Watch out for these before any plans to move in!

We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to clarify this further. We do not charge when people move out unless the apartment is not clean. When you live in the apartment and do not clean it for 18 months the apartment becomes very filthy, in this case we need to charge for cleaning. Before anyone moves out we remind them to leave the apartment clean to avoid cleaning charges as it is stated in the signed lease. When people are not satisfied with the charges we provide pictures and an explanation of what was charged. We appreciate all the families that live here and we want their move out process to be as simple as possible.
Beautiful place to live. with a responsible work team. Efficient and above all very friendly, especially Claudia the manager very good person. I am approximately 8 years of living in Meadowbrook Gardens, the apartments are beautiful and with a good location. In no place in Parsippany I will find these conveniences. It is safe and clean with a family atmosphere where you live with respect. Another point in favor School buses enter here for children.
I live here for years and i can recommend this place to anyone. Good/safe place for kids. Friendly staff. They always help me with anything that i need.
Overly expensive rent, very rude and disrespectful management, no maintenance. You call maintenance and they will not show up until you call leasing office for couple of time, maintenance people does not fix anything unless it is extremely required, they don’t fix tap leakage, sink seepage, bath tub blockage issues. You're paying for the location, definitely not anything else. (Don't look at the pictures, those are hilariously misleading.) The kitchen is like a closet, only one person can stand in kitchen. There isn't a disposal in the kitchen which is just disgusting.

Thank you for your feedback and the opportunity to clarify your concerns. The proper way to get a work order done is to call the office first to set up the repair. We appreciate all the families and treat them with courtesy and respect both in the office and our maintenance team.
I lived at the apartments for about 5 years my experience was very pleasant due to the staff Especially the manager Claudia and the maintenance crew. I would recommend this complex to families that are looking for a friendly environment to raise their kids. I have a 12 year old boy and he made really good friends at the apartments...he was very sad when we had to leave there....I hope this helps make your decision on renting in the Parsippany area.
Hi , I have stayed in this apartment complex for 2.5 years , I had to move only due to personal / job related issues else would have continued more years . Based on my experience I can say that this is very good place to stay especially with family , safe , convenient to stores , highways , Bus to NYC & CVS pharmacy walking distance . Office staff and maintenance staff are friendly & responsive , all minor problems are taken care . I recommend this place to everyone .
BEST PLACE AROUND HERE FOR SURE. THE STAFF REALLY CARES. LOVE IT HERE.
THE STAFF IS VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. THE APARTMENTS ARE VERY WELL KEPT AND ALWAYS CLEAN. THE BEST PART IS THEY ALLOW PETS. OVERALL I AM VERY HAPPY HERE. HAVE BEEN LIVING HERE FOR 4 YEARS NOW.
I lived here from 2013 till last month. During my time at Meadowbrook, I found Felix the supervisor extremely friendly, responsive and helpful, and Claudia the manager also much more supportive than managers at other rental properties I have lived at. I think requesting support respectfully has always worked for me. Having lived in various rentals for several years now, I would rate my experience among the top 2 I have had, and if I had to move back to Parsippany and rent, I would go back to Meadowbrook. Apartment rentals by nature are almost never perfect; but I have to say that the experience with the team at Meadowbrook has been very good for me. Thomas
Hi , Before moving here I had seen lot of negative reviews but still moved due to very unique advantages like close to US46 , shopping , grocery , bus to NY few blocks and most important safe and good place for children to play . The only negative part that I feel personally is lot of pets (especially big dogs) around and that creates dirt all around the property . In my stay of almost a year I did not have any problems , some very minor maintenance issues that got fixed quickly . I would definitely recommend this property .
I lived here for like - 3 years? I think? Before I received a short-notice deployment and had to leave. Anyway, I was pregnant, and unfortunately lost the baby early on. The office manager was nice enough to remember I was pregnant, and asked about it. I didn't tell her what happened (that'd be awkward, plus I didn't feel comfortable) but it was just so nice so have someone acknowledge the baby. The apts are nice, great price for the area too. I would definitely recommend this community, there are kids all over so it's safe. The neighbors are nice, and the location is great.
Of all all the places I have lived, Meadow Brook is one of the best. The management and maintenance is excellent. The apartments are in great shape and the environment is very family friendly. I highly recommend it!
When I moved in there was still good in the kitchen from the previous tenant, it was disgusting. I live on the first floor and I hear everything my neighbor upstairs does, I can even hear them snoring. The maintenance men come in your apt without knocking or ringing the doorbell, and one of them is really creepy. I've told the front office multiple times that I don't feel comfortable being alone with him, but of course they don't care. They'll also come in, and leave a huge mess in your apt. Just avoid it here. There's never any parking, people literally have to park where the garbage goes.
I am a current tenant at the apartments and I love the family atmosphere and how safe I feel at the apartment. The administrative staff as well as the maintenance are very helpful and nice. I have been at the apartment for the past 4 years and the little issues that have emerged have been resolved with no hassles.
Worst experience EVER! Hidden fees everywhere. Apartments have roaches and bedbugs. The office manager KNEW my apartment had roaches before she even rented it to me and she STILL rented it to me and made us move in with the apartment still inflected with roaches. Plus after my lease was up she took almost ALL of my deposit!

Thank you for your review. We strive to provide a positive living experience for all our residents and are open to any feedback we receive. Before leasing an apartment, our maintenance team thoroughly cleans each unit and requests an inspection afterward so that we may receive authorization for a resident to move in. Any charges against your deposit are determined by the completed Apartment Damages Form signed before move-in. If possible, we would like to further discuss this with you; please contact us at your earliest convenience.
I walk towards my apartment each day or night feeling like I'm walking home. I literally couldn't be happier nor could I feel safer than I do here. Whoever takes my place better take care of my garden.
This is worst apartment & having no value for money & having so many extra hidden charges which they never tell u at the beginning. Bad office ppl & bad behavior. too much costly, dirty because of pets. Have experienced very bad behavior from office staffs. Never recommend to live in this apartment complex.
Have lived here over a year and cannot wait until my lease is over! They tried to do the renovations with the closet in my apartment and everything is halfway done and has been left like this for the past few months. It took them 6 months to fix my tub that peeled 3 months after being in the apartment because it was painted over with plain paint. The manager is the worse and wont listen to you when some repair is needed in the apartment, she acts oblivious to everything. They're excuse is that renovations are wing done so I have to understand. It is the worst managed place I have lived in and do recommend. It is over priced and want you to pay all the utilities. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE!
The apartments that were being upgraded were very nice. However, the outside of the development lacks attention. That needs be upgraded and taken care of. The application fee of $300.00 is way over priced! The rent is very pricey, you pay everything yourself.....heat, water bill, etc. If the outside was more curb appealing I would have considered this development.
