Property Ratings at Meadowood
We have lived here for about 3 years and recently gotten new management that is working very hard on improving problems during a lot of up dates we got a new stove today and recently had our steps improved very nice place to live
They are under new management and new maintenance and these 2 are turning it around. Turning into a great place to live. A definite recommendation.
The new management is on top of things fast. When things need fixed, or addressed. She truly cares, and interacts with residents, and their concerns. It has a family type atmosphere here. The maintenance guy fixes things the right, and no short cuts. He cleans up really well after his work. He checks back in to see if things are okay, and so polite. The location is spot on close to all stores, but tucked away in a quiet place. No drama. JD / Sadie.
They have a mold problem and do not clean it up. I’m in #91 and verbally asked them to clean the patio and wood up but they didn’t do it so I had to try to do my best. The fascia is rotting and the gutters and downspouts are very old and need replacing but the company won’t do that either. The outside faucets are broken so they can’t use a pressure washer. I’m allergic to mold and the mold problem may be making me sick. The dryer vent was clogged several months ago and so they vented it to the crawl area where there is allot of mold by their own admission and have not put in a new vent exhaust tube yet.
Don't believe the website that this is a great place to relax or unwind after a long day. I've had the worst neighbor imaginable for two years and can't get anything done about him. There is nobody above or below, but it's just as bad, if you can imagine. Above is understandable, not this. The noise rules apply here...until they don't. And i agree with the other reviews about the parking and trash situation.
Parking here is terrible. I've lived here for over a year, and the parking only gets worse. There are several handicap parking spaces, which is understandable, and there is a "future resident" parking space that is never occupied, but we are still not allowed to park there. The site manager parks up in the front instead of a little further away where it is more convenient for other residents, or he parks in the future resident spot when no one else is allowed to. The parking lot is never paved, and there is opportunity to add parking, it is just never done. There is no initiative to improve the conditions of the complex. There are cars that are parked that haven't moved in the last year. The positive side of this complex is the maintenance guy is very responsive and quick to fix problems in the unit; most problems are addressed within a few hours if not within a day.
Recently several new residents have moved in, and ever since then parking has been a nightmare for those of us who work the night shift. Because so many of new residents have two vehicles, and there are no assigned spots, those of us who work late cannot find decent places to park. We all pay rent but it just isn't fair that some residents are taking up all of the prime parking spaces. In my area there are only 12 spaces for 10 apartments. This used to be sufficient, but now that some of the apartments have two adults with two cars, some of us are getting pushed out. This is really a problem in bad weather or when there are groceries to be brought in. There are mud holes that could be filled in and paved over to create many more parking spaces. There is also a Spectrum company truck, a cargo trailer and a camper van which are taking up valuable spaces in violation of our lease terms. For as much as we pay in rent, surely each apartment should be entitled to one designated, reserved parking space.
Its Oct.13 and still no trash pickup. The last pickup was Sept.27. The dumpsters are piled high and now residents are leaving trash outside the dumpster. Cancelled having friends over for dinner as I am ashamed and embarrassed for them to see the property I live at. I have no idea when this will be resolved.
