Canton’s recognition as one of the safest cities in Michigan is reason enough to move there. A strong focus on education, Canton is well on its way to becoming one of the fastest growing communities in the state.
The area is ideal for families. It has a well-maintained park system which includes Independence Park and Heritage Park. Here, residents can bask in an afternoon of walking, watching their kids play sports, and bond over a picnic in the grass.
Commuters have a short drive to and from the cities (yes, two cities!). Canton is just a few miles from the city limits of Ann Arbor and Detroit. When you live here, most of your conveniences are located along Ford Road, one of the main thoroughfares.

Property Ratings at Meadowood Townhomes
I loved my time at Meadowood. Unfortunately I was diagnosed with cancer and was unable to work and was unable to continue living there longer than my lease. The staff is great and go above an beyond. I think a lot of people that review them are upset about their personal Circumstances but the staff has a job to do and they have to collect rent. communication and honesty is your best bet. They have ver affordable townhomes and everything is very home like. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a home but now ready for ownership.

Thank you for the five-star rating and review. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed calling Meadowood Townhomes your home. We truly appreciate the feedback. Thank you!
As a current resident here, I'm hesitant of the repercussions that can follow from my post, but to prevent others from living this experience, I'm sharing my review of Meaddowood. My issues with living in Meadowwood Townhomes are the leaky fridge, creaky floors, the poor quality tub glaze that keeps peeling, unmoveable cars with expired tags taking up valued parking. And lastly, a management team who doesn't take action when repeated grievances are reported.
Our air conditioning broke on a Monday, after dealing with a heat advisory over the weekend. We contacted the office immediately, and they told us they would send someone over to fix it. After several hours went by, we contacted the office again, only to speak to a different person who had no idea there was any problem with our a.c., but assured us it would be fixed. The next day we contacted the office once again, and we were finally told that there is only one person who can fix air conditioners for the entire complex and that air conditioning is not an emergency, so they would get to it when they got to it. Normally I might agree, but the highs were near 100 degrees and a holiday was approaching, meaning there would be no maintenance for Wednesday or Thursday. A manager assured me once again that our a.c. would be fixed that day. However, no one ever showed up. So of course no one fixed it on the holiday or the day after. This left our unit at 85 degrees on the first floor and 90 degrees on the second floor for an entire week, with only lies from management that it will get fixed.

I moved into an apartment here about a month ago now, and not a single thing has gone right since. First of all, I am renting what is supposedly an upgraded version of their townhomes, in which the cabinets and appliances seem new. The rest of the apartment not so much. Second day I move in which is a Friday, I find out that the washer is broken and leaking water, as expected I call the maintenance to fix it and was told it will be fixed by today’s end. This doesn’t happen, and have to go to a laundromat to make sure my clothes aren’t messed up. Come Monday, I find out not only is it not fixed, but they have no maintainence order (spoke to them three times)! This was three weeks ago, and after calling them at least ten times, I have gotten nothing but run arounds and no help! Lady at the office told it can take four weeks sometimes to order a part... There is no communication between maintainence and office. The emergency maintainence is a joke, because according to them nothing is an emergency. The only saving grace in the place is probably Terry, who is one of the maintainence personnel. A month in and I’m already ready to move out. Once you sign a lease and they take your money, don’t expect much out of them. HEED MY ADVICE, DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! If you have to pay a little extra per month, do it and live elsewhere

We are truly saddened to see that you are not satisfied. Please contact the community manager to discuss so we may resolve the problem as soon as possible. We value your residency.
This place seems like a nice, quiet, pet friendly community but it’s far from that. The units are small and if you request for maintenance they will take their time to fix your request. If you call regarding it they will get mad and take even longer. As far as the quietness I had to call the police TWICE for loud playing music. I was so annoyed because I have to get up for work at 5:30 am. The police cane shortly after but it’s either the residents or the company that comes by flying through the parking lot blazing their music. Pets are fine, however expect to dodge poop everywhere! Do your research it’s the cheapest place in Canton for a reason!!

Worst place I’ve ever lived. The property manager never knows what’s going on. They take 2 months to fix something or to even respond to a maintenance request. Staff is rude.

great place to live but not so great with maintenance. if you do not care if something is broken and no one will show up to fix in week, 2 or 3... then its a place for your. clean property and quiet, reasonable price for what you have.
Prior to moving to my current residence I lived in the city of Detroit. I had to purchase another vehicle and before I could even pay my first car payment my wheels were stolen and my car was sitting on bricks. Moving from a 4 bedroom home I needed to find a place that would accommodate my needs and feel safer in the community that I lived in for myself and my family. I found a,3 bedroom here in this complex. I don't have all the bells and whistles of pools and garagea but I have peace of mind and the staff is friendly and helpful. I don't have a lot if issues because I treat my home like a place I own. I appreciate the consideration of this opportunity to enter into this drawing. I am optimistic about my chances of winning this because this right now would TRULY be a God send. I am happy for those participants who won in the past and I am looking forward to an opportunity to be the next person to receive this blessing. Thank you in advance
Meadowood Apartments are a nice place to live. I have been living here for 2 years now and just resigned my lease. I live in a 2 bedroom townhome. The layout is small, but has a homey feel. It is reasonably priced for the area. Never had any neighbor problems, can't really hear through the walls. Maintenance is great if there is a problem it is fixed in a timely manor. The grounds are well taken care of. My only complaint would be the parking lots have a lot of pot holes that need to be fixed. Overall I like living here!
I live in an 850 square ft 2 bedroom 1 bathroom which offers a full basement and washer/dryer hookups. We have a walk-out patio that faces into a central courtyard, and love the pet-friendly atmosphere and pet stations everywhere. While it's some of the best pricing for the area (we pay $785 utilities), the pricing is definitely related to the poor service. The parking lots are horrible, with huge potholes/bumps/cracked pavement everywhere. There have been no efforts (or plans) to fix them, despite the jarring ride in and out of the community. The maintenance team never shows up as scheduled. They've missed several appointments with us, and never called to say they weren't going to be able to make it. The landscapers do the bare minimum of mowing the grass. Our laundry is in the basement, and we recently discovered that our dryer vent had been completely clogged from the outside by a large flowering plant that has been left unattended. We removed a large pile of the dead growth and expected the landscapers to remove it, but it's been sitting there ignored for almost two weeks now. While I love the pet-friendly atmosphere, the office does a horrible job of enforcing the "clean up after your pet" rule. Some areas of the community are like mine fields, with piles of dog waste everywhere. We take our dog for a walk several times a day, and it's horrible to try to walk through the lawn with her. If you are just looking for the basics and don't really care about this service, this is a great place to stay. If you want to be taken care of and live in a well-maintained community, I would suggest you pay more to live at a different community.
I would recommend anyone to live here. I would really like to get put on your waiting list.
We were not able to look at the 1 br apartment as people were still in there. All the office personnel were very nice and helpful. explained everything to us so there would not be any surprises. We will be able to see the apt. before moving in. The grounds are very well kept. Had to go to hospital from our present apartment and ambulance attendent gave a great rating also as he has friends living there. We will be in 1br, no one above us, no stairway. Landscaping is very appealing. We are looking forward to moving into our new home.
Do not move here, we have been here for 2 years now and the office staff is less than professional! They pay no attention to residents needs, takes no pride in the grounds, and the "gym" they advertise is noting more than a treadmill! Just a terrible experience, and we are leaving ASAP.
