The city of Laredo is rooted deep in the Lone Star State. Not only will you find affordable apartments, you’ll be encompassed by culture, as only one would in Texas.
Founded over 250 years ago on the Rio Grande River, Laredo tourism is pretty huge and the sites consist of San Agustin Plaza and the Republic of the Rio Grande Museum. When it comes to shopping, you’ll be impressed by all the opportunities surrounding you. Locals enjoy the brands at Mall de Norte as well as the Outlet Shoppes at Laredo.
At San Bernardo Avenue, you’ll find 40 blocks of shops selling authentic finds and baked goods. The culinary scene is excellent with a bounty of authentic Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants. Residents here are serviced by the Laredo International Airport and three major roadways.
Texas A&M International University calls this city home, just north of Lake Casa Blanca Park. This state park features waterskiing, picnic pavilions, and trails.

Property Ratings at Merida Vista Apartments
First off there is NO designated parking assigned to a tenant. They don't hear your concerns here, they just always ask to send an email . praise god im moving. There is soooo many roches all sizes they don't fumigate properly and the issues never end the parking is horrible they will hit your cars here from the over populated and under control they have the situation here save your money look elsewhere . The staff is horrible super careless and rude ladies .... There is trash all over people here don't respect there fellow tenants either since there never any actions taken to alleviate the issues .
These departments are disgusting and very bad customer service
I’ll start by saying these complex are gross full of cockroaches that never ends. I am counting the days till im out from here. And if you call for fumigation they either never go or take long and their venom doesn’t do anything to them. Customer service on the office is the worst they never solve anything for you and they try to charge more
The apartments are infested with roaches, after a few talks with some neighbors you realize it is an issue in the whole complex. The outside area is dirty and full of trash. There is some questionable activity. Do not rent here. Two stars is generous.
If I could rate this 0 stars I would. Living at the North Merida apartments is horrible. Infested with baby roaches. Really bad potholes they never fix. There’s no reason for a gate if it doesn’t work. Don’t ever call management to fix something because they won’t. Management is super rude and will want to evict you for anything. They are money hungry, so don’t expect your deposit back because they will just charge you for anything. Their leasing employees looks like they don’t know anything. The only upside is that they are some what modern looking apartments.
It is really peaceful and great location. I have not had any issues! The parking is getting fixed and it is looking better than ever!
I just moved into these apartments, the company that rents them is very professional. I was able to do everything online and I just stopped by the office to pick up my keys. Apartments looks very nice.
Terrible place to live at. Management is awful. They pretend to care, but do nothing about your issues. Small roaches come in through the drain (kitchen & restroom). Parking is terrible! The only parking available is out front in the first building that no one wants to rent in because of the roach infestation. Everyone parks on the fire lane so you might struggle pulling out. The kids that live here love to play with the water meters and shut off the water in the apartments. The groundskeepers are ordered to poison the stray cats so you might see dead cats everywhere, don’t worry they get to them and bury them when they have the time. Some groundskeepers may be rude and bang on your order until you open up (they probably don’t know how to use a doorbell). Oh and if you park in the same place all the time they will mark your car up for tow and claim your parking permit expired because they think you haven’t moved your vehicle. That’s just how they handle things so people will stop complaining about the parking. I’d rate it no stars for animal cruelty.
is infested with small roaches!!! I would call fumigation constantly and inset of leaving it felt like it doubled tripled the roaches!! in this location u can only call fumigation 3 times a year!!
