Rocklin, California sits just 21 miles northeast of Sacramento along I-80. This busy city is more than a suburb -- it is home to Sierra College and William Jessup University. It is filled with shopping plazas, such as the large Blue Oaks Town Center, and a section of Granite Drive is known as "Toy Row." (These toys are for grown-ups -- such as RVs and boats.) Rocklin is directly north of Roseville and residents enjoy easy access to Westfield Galleria at Roseville, providing even more shopping.
You'll enjoy fantastic mountain views when you move to a Rocklin apartment -- the city is surrounded by the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the Sutter-Butte mountain range. Quarry Park features hiking trails and an amphitheater where concerts are often held.
Rocklin has a secret -- the Secret Ravine, that is, which played a large role during the California Gold Rush. Later, Rocklin became a major granite-mining town -- be sure to take some of the Quarry History Tours after moving to Rocklin.

I have lived here since October 2023. I live in a small one-bedroom and pay as much in utilities as I did in my 3-bedroom home. The total charge is split among all residences, not by what you actually use, rip off! It's way overpriced for what you get. Pay your rent early and get penalized and hit with fees. Disappointed in this property and won't renew my lease when it's up!

Worst apartments ever. I don't were to begin with. It's been 2 months hot tub is not working , more 3 months since mail box is broken. All the residents go to post office to pickup mails. Out sider teenagers comes to kids play ground and behave inappropriately which makes us very uncomfortable. When we moved in they had Valet service for trash pickup they just stopped just like that . Smoke free? I guess either I don't know what that means or they don't. One of my friend moved out there was a small stain on countertops they charge him big amount .he cleaned the apartment but they charged him for cleaning as well. The funny thing when we moved in floor was dirty ??. I will never recommend these apartments to any one

After living in multiple apartments and having nothing but great experiences this apartment was by far the worst. Upon moving in we realized that our neighbor was in a lawsuit with the apartment because the resident stated to us he fell down the stairs because they do not keep their lights on, then we realized this to be true after multiple times upon coming home that we realized the front whole half of the complex was completely pitch black. While living in the complex multiple appliances broke including our washing machine, air conditioner, and all of our kitchen and living room outlets... even though the apartment may look nice on the inside both the towel rack and the toilet paper holder broke and fell on the floor upon pretty much every use, the blinds in our bedroom came out of the wall and fell on top of me as I was trying to close it one morning, and our shower had offish yellow stains all over the walls. We had rats the size of dogs that would eat out of our neighbors trash below us so we always had to be careful walking passed it to get to our upstairs apartment. Upon moving in they have you fill out a form stating if you have any issue with the apartments overall appearance smells etc., so I had stated the carpet smelled strong like pee and signed the document and returned it to them, and that was the last I ever heard about it until they tried to blame the pee smell on us upon leaving when we didn’t have any pets. The staff are exceptionally rude upon moving in the first week I asked Brent about the tv situation and said I was wanting to pay for a company such as direct tv etc and they told us we would have to purchase through their tv company only and said to me “what do you think that tv is just free” as if I’m an idiot. We lived in the apartment when it was summer and of course my nieces and nephews friends etc want to come over and use the pool, their pool was under maintenance for 4 months during the summer so we had to use the neighboring pool down the street...and they wanted us to still pay for pool use. Every time we’d call they would tell us the city has to come look at it, so I called the city office and they said they had no encounters with the meridian complex, so their staff was just coming up with excuses to make it seem like it wasn’t their issue. The apartment was also exceptionally over priced, especially considering how many problems you encounter to live their, overall moving out was the best decision we could have made.

We have been residents of the Meridian for nearly 4 years and while the front office staff are very friendly, the overall rental experience has been profoundly sad. 1) there has been construction on the stairs of virtually every building for nearly 2 years. We pay a lot of rent to continuously have the buildings look unkept, rundown and not maintained. Some tear-downs just sat with no activity for months on end. Yet, the office was able to be re-roofed in 3 days. Series of notices have been placed on our doors notifying us of “you will have no access to your home, so please make other arrangements” and then the construction doesn’t happen (even after you’ve made other arrangements to board your dog or come home late). Then… after this has happened several times, they eventually do block you from entering your home and seem surprised when you demand entry to the expensive apartment that you have paid for. When did blocked access of your home become allowed? 2) the ant infestation is amazing. The years of building disruption have unleashed ants all over the complex. Yet… I think we have seen them spray outside twice and inside is only done on Tuesdays (but you must again make arrangements for your pets to be somewhere else). 3) Even after notifying the front desk of various lights being out (even on our stairwell), lights have not been replaced. Some have even gone over a year without attention. 4) they have a dogs must be on leash policy, yet dogs are allowed to run on the lawns which clearly causes some issues with the other dogs. 5) we are continuously asked to remove things from our porch or to remove items from hanging on the patio – yet only ½ the complex does it and are not held accountable. There is more that can be said, but you get the drift. We are just waiting for our lease to run out before finally moving on and moving out.
The meridian at Stanford ranch is a luxury living apartment complex. In my opinion, the rent price for what you get in your unit is a little ridiculous. The "wood" flooring is super thin laminate that is easily ruined. :/ However, the pool, gym, and club room are amazing. We spent most of our summer out by the pool enjoying it. I wish there was more storage space in the kitchen (only 4 drawers and 6 small cupboards). The management is decent, but when problems arise, they are slow to address the issues and from our experience, require constant communication from us. The complex is overall quiet, but the floors/ceilings in the apartments are thin, so pray you don't have any upstairs neighbors!
This very basic apartment in middle of Rocklin, Ca where the level of living is fairly high, but the level of rent at The Meridian is about 30% higher then what you get in return. Meaning the interior has not been upgraded since at least 2000. So 15 years of no upgrades and who knows how many residence. I have had to have washer replaced. It took maintenance 5 days to replace. The dishwasher is beat up. When I moved in the drawer in dish washer was broken and that was like that when I moved in. Meaning they did not observe the apartment thoroughly before placing a new resident. And finally they attempt to make a friendly complex but instead when they announce activities they send text messages and emails. Not only once a day, but 3 separate times in a day. Not the best apartment I have ever lived in
