!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!DONT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This place has gone down hill have lived here for 5 years and it went under new management a year ago and the girls in the office are rude and super unprofessional they dont care about anything they turned off our water without telling us because one of the apartment needed it for whatever reason also we got a 3 day eviction notice for 10$! There is homeless everywhere and trash so they take forever to fix or replace anything! I love my apartment its really nice and i love the area I'm in I hate the staff here !!! Dont move here it will just be a bunch of things after a other
I love the complex. New management company is great, always on top of everything. Managers are very helpful and nice. Clean complex, has pool, spa, tennis courts, gym all what you need in one place. Recommend!!!
Very nice apartment complex! it maintained very well and there is a lot of amenities for residents which is a big plus! They have a lot of parking spaces for residents and for guests. Complex is clean and quiet. I'm happy with my choice.
I’m typically not the type to complain but this place gives me a headache. My husband and I have lived here for about a year, the management before with Brittney and Sarah was amazing. They both responded to emails efficiently, quickly, and with politeness. They have just recently left the property management as of the month of November. The new management that has currently taken over is horrible, unorganized, and unhelpful. There has been countless times that I would have to reach out to ask for additional information, follow up with them to see if they will follow up with me, or just to get an update status on any inquiries. To future residents who are looking, you may want to pass this one up unless you’re willing to deal with folks like this. There has been times where my week has been ruined due to the unpleasant times I’ve encountered with the new property management.
Back when Amanda managed this place things were good, now it’s just a disaster. Anything that can go wrong will go wrong. They will rip you off and give you the run around for any problems. You will regret moving here.
Save yourself from the endless dumpster divers and trash they throw around. The non stop police presence from breakins in apartments and vehicles etc. The office management who is so unprofessional and down right rude. They will play games with you once you stand up for you rights as a renter and retaliation begins. Being told “this is Sacramento” when complaining about all of it to the office staff but having the office manager get mad at you when you mention it’s not a nice complex?!? So even part of the office agrees?!? The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing and the residents pay for it. They will tell you the water bill doesn’t go over a certain amount when it doubles on you. Please please save yourself from this place!
I rented here for year upon move out they charge me $214 for the utilities and the prorated rent. That part was fine I gladly paid it as he moved out however when they were going over the charges with me they charge me $325 for carpet replacement remind you there is only carpet in one room. What they did not include in the charges was that there was a leak in the ceiling and the carpet had gotten wet and there was mold on the carpet During the time I lived there the carpet was so wet and moldy that they had to bring in not only fans to lift the carpet in van dry underneath the carpet but they also had to wash part of the carpet however they didn’t include any of this in their file. My car got broken into while I lived here also there’s homeless people in the garbage is almost daily basis to get a community but navigator actually closed. There are ambulances going by and sirens every night and during the day .
What I have found to be the most concerning in regards to this property is the management. The management has lost our rent on multiple occasions leading them to leave eviction notices on our door. (even as I write this now I have a notice sitting on my counter) Thankfully we are better book keeps than they and keep records of all our payments and dates that bills are paid. If you do decide that you would like to rent in this complex I strongly urge you do the same unless you want to literally pay for an ineffectual staff members mistake which seems all too frequent. Another issue that has been cause for concern as of late is the safety of the complex my girlfriend who works nights has come home on more than one occasion to see people attempting to break into cars early in the morning. Also earlier this year there were squatters living in a vacant unit across the breezeway. Yet another issue that plagued our lives at this complex is the people that were selling drugs out of the unit adjacent to ours. This came with a lot of drama typically in the middle of the night including their door being kicked in by one of their dissatisfied customers. I did not write this to rant and rave in a moment of rage but rather to try to give insight to those who are curious about this property and see it as a potential living space. I will leave with this, Although the apartments appear to be nice, for the money asked you could move to a better area with an apartment that is built a little bit better and office staff that are more proficient and professional. You can and do deserve better than what Meridian Terrace has to offer. I hesitated for quite some time before posting this review because I do fear retaliation from Meridian Terrace, however as I sit here looking at the signed receipts from a office staff member next to my failure to pay notice I am not sure what more they can do to my little family here thought I’m sure they’ll find a way.
