Property Ratings at Mesa Palms Apartments
I have nothing to say other than this a beautiful place to reside. it's near all the highways e.g. 163 North, 805 South. It's very safe and they are reinvesting in the property as well. Excellent! Staff are very nice and great listeners.
If you like great food, being located near multiple freeway entrances, excellent soundproofing, central locations, and great parking Mesa Palms is a great place to be. The management staff has always been friendly and professional. We never had any issues getting a maintenance request attended to and the maintenance staff was also very personable. Our biggest downsides were that you can’t have pets and delivery people tend to get confused because the buildings cycle the same numbers i.e. there are multiple apartment 1-12s but they are in different buildings. We lived here for over 9 years and are only leaving to get some more space and a pet. We will miss this place but we hope the next person that moves in loves it as much as we did.
It has been over 21 days since I’ve moved out and I have yet to receive my deposit back from Christine and Michael. I’ve contacted them and while, they’re usually not the best at responding, it’s taking them an even more unusual amount of time to get back to me re the security deposit.
I lived at Mesa Palms for a year while active duty Military and it was a great experience. I had zero issues with the apartment itself and have no complaints. The staff is great and they have landscapers that take great care of the property and it's vegetation. It's great for military due to the location being 10 minutes south of MCAS Miramar and 15 minutes north of Naval Base San Diego, MCRD San Diego, and about 45 minutes from MCB Camp Pendleton. The move in/out process was seamless for me. I love the area and the places to eat on Convoy Street, Balboa Avenue, and the Mesa Mart down the road. I loved running through the neighborhood in the evenings, it's a pretty safe town. One of my favorite things about the apartment I had was that it had an upstairs/downstairs. The separation between my bedroom and personal area from the rest of the place made having guests over very comfortable. It also makes the place seem bigger and is unique because many apartments in the area don't have them.
If I listed everything I loved about this property, i would run out of room. If you want a place that is safe, and close to stores, shops, mechanics, parks, and freeways then Mesa Palms is for you. Christine is the property Manager, she is so awesome, and her staff is friendly and treats you like family. Living here gives you a sense of things you may have forgotten in life. If you go anywhere else then your missing out.
I moved out recently due to relocating and I had the best time living in Mesa Palm Apt for the last 4 years. Firstly the location is everything you're seconds away from the 163 and can get anywhere around town within 15 minutes. You are walking distance to Starbucks, K sandwiches, a nail salon, Rose Donuts and Lupe's Mexican eatery. Additionally, there's nice neighbors and an awesome staff working there. Including an incredible maintenance and cleaning crew that are stellar at keeping the facilities and building in top shape. The front desk and property manager are always available and quick to answer any questions and provide any assistance. As for rent prices this is a great value for the location and services offered. There was always ample parking and the building has thick walls so I never had any issue of hearing neighbors. The community is safe and there is also a security guard working the overnights. Great place to rent!
This is the most poorly managed apartment complex I have ever lived in. This morning I woke up to my car getting towed for supposedly parking in an area that was “blocked off” for lot construction. This construction has been rescheduled 3 times. They have no respect nor care for the tenants. They flooded my apartment and refused to replace damaged furniture and appliances. Their laundry facilities usually has less than 50% working machines. The cold water tap runs hot (around 110 degrees) for several minutes/indefinitely when turned on. My clothes in the closet are consistently covered in termites and debris. All of these issues have been reported to the property manager. Don’t be fooled by the “renovated” units they are offering. When you have a complex as poorly managed as this one, new paint and flooring won’t save you.
Michael has made the entire process smooth & stress free. He’s been very communicative every step of the way. Hubby & I are so pleased we chose this complex as our residence. The positive reviews are true! Communicated w/ Christine a couple of times and she was super friendly & pleasant to chat with. Thank you guys for being a class act! Only been here for a week and we love it. The only con is hearing the cars drive by since we love to keep our windows open; when closed the outside noise becomes non existent. So happy we chose this place out of all the others we were viewing.
I loved living here, and wouldn’t have left other than for the fact that my boyfriend was moving in together. It’s got great location in middle of all the major highways, great little local eats within walking distance (omgsh K’s sandwiches!!!) and you can’t really beat the price for a one bedroom. I had the great luck of getting a corner unit, facing the laundry and a nice lawn with an extra window on the side (which you need, because the only drawback of the apartment is getting enough sunlight). The managers and maintenance personnel is always super friendly, and all the neighbors are super quiet and respectful. Highly recommend this place!
What I liked most about Mesa Palms: Friendly manager/agents, beautiful landscaping, and nice remodel. What I like least: Almost nothing, maybe soundproofing for lower unit.
I decided here because staff are very polite and friendly and professional!! Outstanding customer service thank.you Micheal and Christina!!
I liked to share this leasing staffing Micheal and Christina!! They are outstanding customer service experience very friendly ..polite and professional attitudes. I went many places but they are hard working and very helpful!! I am highly reccomend this places. Thank.you Micheal and Christina!!
Wrap around parking lot so there's always somewhere to park!!! Great location near the freeway entrances. Quiet apartment, we never hear our neighbors through the walls. Management has always been friendly and professional. Always attended any maintenance issues we had. Pool and spa are nice. Only complaint is that if we leave windows open at night we hear the traffic so we shut them and put an oscillating fan in the corner. Best apartment we've lived in by far. Been here 4 years. Only moving because we have a baby and need more room.
bad administration, horrible prices, smelly rooms.
The apartments here are quiet for the most part, I live in a unit that is facing the road directly and can hear the traffic and noise if the windows are kept open, however when the windows are kept closed it does a good job of noise cancellation. The facilities here are clean, there's two laundry facilities and a swimming pool that they clean a few times a week. The gym facility isn't worth mentioning. The best thing about this location is that it's surrounded by all kinds of restaurants within a 2 mile radius, and stores like Target and Home Depot nearby. It's decent value for the money if you like the convenience of buying basic necessities or eating out. The drive to Pacific Beach is fairly close as well and there's plenty of entertainment to be had there. Would rate a 6.5 out of 10.
Mesa Palm apartments is a very nice complex. I live in a one bedroom, it's very roomy, but if your sharing the complex your not able to have much privacy inside as is all open apartment, with a loft upstairs. Great location, pool/spa is nice. The gym isnt too great, but there is weightlifter machines. No pets. Most neighbors stay to themselves. One cleaning lady who works around the place gives a kinda rude vibe. The rent is a bit high, water is included.
